So now after continuously getting about 8-9 BSOD's back to back while connecting my phone as usb modem , it has started to bother me too much
It occurs only after i connect my 3g phone as an internet modem.

I've bought a Huawei E3372h modem (with GTmobile simcard) but it doesn't connect. The modem says 'connected' and does recieve/sent KB's but on the window toolbar network logo says 'no internet connection' (yellow triangle mark).

Every time I connect my phone to my computer to charge it, the Photo app searches for new photos. How can I turn this annoying thing off? Couldn't find any button in the settings.

Randomly when browsing the internet I'll get bluescreen's 10-20 minutes in. I haven't tested many things but I have updated a couple of drivers in spite of what I thought may have worked..
View 1 RepliesHere are minidumps of the past several bluescreens, and a full memory dump of the most recent one. I've been getting these for various reasons - I already fixed a few problems with programs chewing up hard disk and causing crashes due to this, but I recently started getting them again at random times and I can't figure out the root cause. Attached is the official folder of stuff from the tool. The event log will include additional unexpected power losses because occasionally it completely freezes and I have to hard reset. I'm hoping it's not hard-drive failure because it often fails for different reasons.

I am running in safe mode now without problem for quite a while so I guess it is a driver problem, I hope?

I recently bought a HP Probook and within days I started getting BSOD - I had it replaced by HP and the same model replacement is now also giving BSOD. I deliberately didn't install anything on it apart from Chrome. I'm getting BSOD all the time now when browsing - it doesn't matter which browser I use. View 2 RepliesI am using a Lenovo think Centre M57 pc, I installed the new Windows 10 operating system and like it very much, however my Huawei E352 Modem is not working on this operating system but it works perfectly in Windows 7. In Windows 10 it is being picked up as a Memory Stick but not a modem and therefore I can not connect either to the internet. I presume it must be a driver of some sort? If so, where can i download this driver that is needed?

View 1 RepliesI have installed a clean windows 10 installation, and i keep having these different BSOD every time my computer is making a cold start = i shut the pc down in the evening and in the morning BSOD starts the day.. the computer restarts, and it works all day long, resetting and turn off and quick turn on again no BSOD.

When I install modem MMX310G 3G USB MANAGER in windows 10, it shows driver installation failed and when open this app it shows no devices.
View 2 RepliesI've got a big problem win my Win10. Every time i install 10 it has no internet connection, it shows that none connections are available and tells "Modem has reported an error (error 651). Everything is working well on Win7. I tried many things to fix it but nothing seems to work.
My network card is Qualcomm Atheros AR8171, and modem is some TPLink
Yesterday I relocated our Wireless Modem to a cooler room. We live in the Philippines so these devices can get quite warm...After relocating and hooking up all the wires, cables etc. My wife's computer a Dell, would not connect to the Wireless modem. I checked and replaced all wires with new ones, and rechecked the connections, everything was okay...I use a MAC which is still working fine, and connected right away, so I know the Signal is getting out. I did the "ping" command and it is not going thru. Tried everything I know, cannot get her wireless to work. I have a Red X on her adapter, in the Network Connections dialog box, "Not Connected"...Her system uses a Broadcom 802.11n adapter, which I replaced just recently...When I registered I added all the Dell system info, CPU info etc..
View 1 RepliesI'm sure there's enough variables that this could be some combo of software and stuff I have (I never use OneDrive - close it? I use Dashlane - it had Win10 issues, later resolved.) -- but does anyone walk away from their PC, come back and find online (cable modem/Ethernet in my case) - just stops working, in everything? Evernote, Firefox, Outlook, etc.?) Programs are fine (well, Outlook freezes in mid send/receive but...) but the online access is gone? And the only fix usually is a reboot?
Never happened in Win 8.1. Happens about once a day in Win10. Reboot fixes. Network troubleshooter finds nothing. If it didn't come back after reboot I'd be desperate, as it is ... I can live with it if I have to but... was hoping one of these "cumulative updates" would work but... doesn't seem to happen when I'm working, only if I stop a bit. Got a clue that doesn't involve powershell "fun" or registry/deep file mucking?
I have updated the files for the BSOD logs. It is a Kernal_Security_Check_Failure about 99% of the time. Sometimes they will happen when I launch a game, when I start playing music, or even when I am away from the computer without anything running. I am unaware of any connection to them. They happen between 5-10 times a day, and it is VERY annoying.... (updated again[and again][and again])
View 9 RepliesEvery since I upgraded to windows 10 and boot my desktop machine I get a BSOD with Bad Pool header. It keeps looping and rebooting with the same error. The only way around it is to go into the bios and save changes and then it allows me to log in. I have disabled fast reboot and still no joy. Attached is a log file with all the relevant info
View 3 RepliesMy Win10 laptop flips out on boot with a blue screen, right before/after you can see the mouse. It never reboots when it says it will. And it seems to blame my graphics card for this, as Catylitst Controll on logging claims that there is no AMD driver or thats its malfunctioning. I have to reinstall it to get my computer working better than a snail's pace, and for Catylist Controll to reconise it.Will get a dump of the error, just gotta restart a few times, as i accidently deleted the error dump and used disk cleaner.

It has been doing this EVERY time I restart or start up my computer. It is very annoying as it clears some of my apps. It also says it is putting me on a temporary account or something like that.
View 1 RepliesThe computer seems very stable right up until I let it go idle. After 4 minutes I get the REGISTRY_ERROR bsod. The system is not over clocked. CPU temps are low. Memtest86(+) runs fine for 8 passes with 0 errors. Disabling the two .NET tasks that start on idle in Task Scheduler made no difference (as per the post with a similar issue). CHKDSK /R requires a reboot and no messages are present on the screen while running but there is no log file generated in Event Viewer / logfiles / application. I ran sfc /scannow and got errors. A reboot and retry did not correct the error. I ran Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth and it successfully repaired the system. Subsequent scans with SCF indicate no issues or problems. Not sure if it is relevant but the system has a Samsung 950 SSD as the C drive.
View 9 RepliesSince updating (free, via download) from Win 7 to Win 10 I have had a few problems. I have 3 internal HD: (1) System drive (SSD, 500GB), (2), Media Drive (Seagate 3TB), (3) Documents Drive (500 GB). I also have a USB backup drive that the computer can see.
Seemingly at random, but more usually the Media Drive, doesn't appear when I boot the computer. If I boot the computer and go to BIOS all of the drives appear. Currently the computer in "this PC" recognizes 1 and 3.
Additionally it takes around 5-10 minutes to boot, sometimes hangs and has to be hard reset.
I have had a few BSOD as well, at seemingly odd times. The computer will run with the drives it sees fairly well and eventually BSOD. I should note that sometimes the BSOD is not the one I'm used to from previous Windows installs - it's really just blue with no info.
I have physically reordered the SATA cables (changed the drives to different cables) and this works for a time but eventually the problem persists.
Finally, I thought about doing a clean system install, but was wondering how you do that if you upgraded via free download (i.e. I don't have a disk - there must be an easy solution for that I am sure).

After maybe 10 minutes, I get a complete freeze and I need to restart my computer. After many attempts of restarting, it usually works fine if it doesn't freeze in the first half an hour. I attached the log.
View 9 RepliesI just got Windows 10 today and when I did my own stuff, I get Bad Pool Header error messages. It has happened every time when plugging in game controller or accessing internet.
Is my computer not compatible with Windows 10? Or is it something else?
After after upgrading my laptop to windows 10 , I found a small blank white window at left side when it woke up from sleep.It last till restart.
