I recently upgraded to Windows 10 and have had a few BSODs. One was a System_Service_Exception dxgkrnl.sys.
The other I'm not sure of. The manufacturer's site for Windows 10 drivers has not been updated, and I'm worried about accidentally upgrading the wrong ones and video card driver updates (if that is part of the problem) specifically have given me fits in the past.

I've gotten the BOSD 7 times today. The BOSD said it was because of various things throughout the day, at first it said it was Memory Management, but after that I just started to get annoyed.
Checking back through the event logs, the bugcheck says the errors were: 0x00000050; 0x000000ef ; 0x0000001a; 0x0000000a; 0x00000139; 0x000000c1
If it isn't obvious, I really don't know how to solve this or if the bugcheck errors useful at all. What I do know is that I was just using google chrome when some of the crashes happened. Also during the day, several times I booted up my computer and logged in and then went away for 5 minutes after logging in (without doing anything). When I came back, it was obvious that my computer had restarted.
I always get BSOD when streaming u tube and play Dota 2,it say related to Memory Management. I had cek RAM with Memory Diagnostic Tool but when finish and restart I get BSOD in login screen, so I dont know the result. I use Windows 10 Pro 32bit with DDR2 3Gb RAM (2+1) PC 6400

I ask this as i currently have no way to do any form of backup and wont be able to for some time but the only things i would need when i do upgrade is my chrome passwords and my steam games as have not long done a full reset using the acer e recovery program. Im using the steam beta client at present and running win 7 home premium.

When it does this the video sits there with the buffer symbol and will not load and I have fairly fast internet.However some sites play more videos than other. For example Youtube will load almost all the videos I want to watch but a few will not load, But If I want to watch something on a social media sites the videos will almost never load. For whatever reason, there's a lot of graphical glitching/lag while using Chrome, and only really in the address box. What's strange is I've reinstalled Chrome, reinstalled my AMD Radeon R9 280X drivers, and then gave up and tried using Chromium (which works but has weird graphical glitches on the web pages sometimes).
Microsoft Edge works fine and Chrome's web page rendering is also fine. How to fix this?
I want the usual menu at the top of the browser window. Why am I not able to do that? I also can't find the preferences that change details like the color of a selected link.

I installed the update now I can't open chrome & windows defender .
Defender is responding as "This app has been turned off & isn't monitoring your computer" When I try to turn it on .. it's turning off again ..
& chrome isn't even open .. when I try to open it , nothing happens not even a error msg .
I have made repeated attempts to download and install Google Chrome onto windows 10. I have tried multiple actions according to web sites. It downloads but when I try to access, I get an error message that says the web page cannot be found. I have been told that Firefox will not allow install due to incompatibility issue. I tried contacting Microsoft but cannot get through due to HIGH level of phone traffic. I am not able to get to answer desk for unknown reason. Is there anyway I can get past this incompatibility issue that according to Microsoft; "They are working on it". I want to make Google Chrome Default Browser.
View 19 RepliesI don't even have Chrome installed. as this is a clear sign of an attempt to inject Malware. Even if I had Chrome installed, I'd never consider updating through such popups.
Take this as a warning, following such links will indeed install Mal-ware on your machine.
Every time I switch on, before I can do anything else, I have to click a cross on a chrome screen to make it disappear
View 2 RepliesI migrated from Windows 7 to Windows 10. I then found that I had access to 3 web browsers - Edge, Chrome and IE 11.
However, whilst I could access web pages from Edge, I could not access those same pages [in fact ANY pages at all] from Chrome or IE. I just got messages saying the pages were not accessible. My immediate suspicion was some sort of firewall problem, so I turned off the firewall, but the problem persisted. I re-installed Chrome, but that made no difference either. I rebooted the PC, but the problem was still there. I also noted that my VOIP phone application was unable to reach the Web.
It seems very odd that one application [Edge] seems to have full Web access, while three others have none at all.
I cannot think of any setting that would deny access to some apps, but not others. I did check the firewall setting for Chrome, and it said it was giving the application full access.
What might be causing this selective denial of Internet access. Does Edge monopolise the access and somehow exclude the others?!
Ever since I upgraded, my screen is freezing when in Google Chrome. The mouse still works but I am unable to close out or launch another application. A window eventually comes up that says "do you want to kill" this page or "wait". This is happening more and more often.

View 10 RepliesAll of a sudden, when using Google Chrome, the taskbar disappeared, and when I minimized Chrome, the background and desktop icons were missing from the screen, all my windows minimized at the bottom left corner. I restarted my PC but that didn't worked... This happened for no reason, I'm 100% I didn't pressed anything, nor installed anything before that might cause the problem..
I can still open almost everything through a window.. but there's some things that don't work now, like clicking right click on background does nothing, adjusting sound through keyboard also (while adjusting screen brightness works properly), I've also tried to open start menu using my keyboard, but that does nothing.... Google Chrome also doesn't want to open, I'm asking this question through IE....Today, my screen also rotated for no reason, just like smartphones and tablets rotate screens..

View 1 RepliesI have 2 windows 10 Laptops. Both upgraded from Win 7 Pro. The first one I did from a CD, (Had to buy a copy of win 10)
The thing rocked for a few days with Win10 and everything was great. Very fast and after some figuring out where everything went, it was fine. UNTIL, an update got applied to either Chrome or Win10 and now Chrome Crashes immediately on opening. Even when trying to uninstall it. Have to go to safe mode to uninstall it. Tried Canary and still same result, Crash, Just chrome nothing else and no BSOD. All the other browsers work just fine, but I've kind of become attached to Chrome. BTW the second laptop I just upgraded the other night is still working just fine.
