I just have a old Ace Aspire V3-471G with Windows 10 installed . Everything is fine for 3 week . And then one day when i restart a laptop to install some app , I heard very noisy beeping sound . And then Windows 10 starting but then immediately restart again . It keep going on like that. I decide to install old Windows 7 and it start fine although if i connect USB , sometime it will beeping again.
View 1 RepliesI recently updated my Asus N55SF laptop to Windows 10. Everything is working, but the internal speakers in the laptop are not working. However, headphones and HDMI audio is working. I've tried the newest drivers from Microsoft and from the Realtek website. What I can do here?
View 2 RepliesI just upgraded to windows 10 and now my dvd player, and videos from my hard drive, play with sound and no picture.
View 1 RepliesContinuous beeping noise started after yesterdays win 10 update...
View 1 RepliesAfter a successful upgrade from Windows 7 to Windows 10 I discovered that YouTube would not play. Fixed the video problem by running in compatibility mode .. BUT then noticed there was no sound from either speakers or headphones on my laptop. No Windows sounds, iTunes, nothing worked. Could this be a setting inadvertently turned "off' somewhere ? Up until I got YouTube working the sound was fine with Windows 10. I just don't know where to look to rectify this. Rebooting etc doesn't make any difference. I don't suspect a hardware fault, it must be an OS corruption or something.
View 3 RepliesYesterday I updated my OS from Windows 7 to Windows 10. All seems to be working swimmingly apart from the sound, which doesn't work at all. I checked the drivers and it says that they've been updated yesterday along with the OS change. Oh, I use Dell Vostro V131 laptop.
View 3 RepliesWhen I play movies on my tablet it's all OK. But, when I do the same thing on my lap top I only get sound.
View 2 RepliesThere is no sound output in my sony vaio laptop after upgrading to windows 10.
View 7 RepliesSince I upgraded from 8.1 --> 10, I've occasionally been having an issue where my my PC constantly beeps (through the normal speakers) and I lose control over the mouse. URL....Beeping sound is playing through normal speakers, not from inside the tower. I have limited movement of the cursor, but unable to click on ANYTHING.I've been trying to narrow down potential causes, by disconnecting various input devices. One thing to note is that this sometimes occurs WHEN an input device is disconnected or reconnected. These devices include:
-Logitech G502 mouse
-Corsair K70 Keyboard
-Logitech M310 wireless mouse (sometimes used for control of Netflix from my couch)
-Saitek X-52 Pro Hotas (with programming software)
-CH Products Flight Pedals
-Xbox 360 controller
-and another thing-
a program called "SVmapper," which enables the use of the eight otherwise useless buttons on the base of the X-52 Pro's throttle. Normally, those buttons are used to start and stop a small timer built into the throttle, change modes, and generally very useless crap. SVmapper intercepts those button presses and instead outputs a keyboard command to the video game in use. (For example: the x-52 doesn't have enough buttons for me to map essential controls AND landing gear control to the hotas. When I use SVmapper, it gives me 8 extra usable buttons!) [URL] ....
I'm suspecting SVmapper, but I have yet to prove or disprove anything yet. According to my searches, I've heard of a (somewhat) similar problem in Windows 8 related to StickyKeys, FilterKeys, or some other UselessKeys option. I've tried disabling all those, to no avail. For reference, here is my current build: URL...
Only way I can regain control of my PC is by holding the front power button on my tower. I've tried Task Manger to stop processes (doesn't work) and rebooting with ctrl+alt+del (also inoperative). I'm trying to at least make this PC last until I can get a Skylake CPU (+motherboard +appropriate RAM).
I have a Fangbook III made by Cyperpower PC. I am unable to play sound via the on-board speakers for the laptop. I am however able to play sound through the 3.5mm auxiliary jack input. I have speakers set as default device under the playback settings.
This is where is gets strange. Whenever I attempt to delete the Realtek audio driver, whether it is through windows or a 3rd-party driver uninstallation software, Realtek always comes back within a few seconds. Right before it does come back, under playback, it separates speakers and headphones with both having the driver High Definition Audio Device. If I hurry before the Realtek driver comes back the speakers seems to work! But once the Realtek audio speakers comes back, the default speakers and headphones goes away and I continue to have the same problem with the Realtek driver.
I attempted to reformat the computer with windows 10 and erase all drivers but Realtek was already installed. I assume it is required for this specific laptop? How to direct the Reaktek High Definition Audio driver to use the speakers instead of the auxiliary jack?

Since yesterday im having this issue, my mouse starts lagging and beeping and i cant do anything else at the pc, the keyboard still works but if i turn the pc off or try to restart nothing happens, i need to to press the reset button
Is something like this video i found at internet [URL].....
I don`t know if is realted but yesterday i installed the new update at windows update My windows version is the 1511 (10586.122) and my mouse is a Corsair M65 RGB.
I have been experiencing an audio problem very recently with my laptop (Model Schenker C505).
Whenever I close my laptop lid, and make my laptop go to sleep, the audio will not reactivate once I wake it up. However, a restart of the system seems to do the trick and the sound starts working again.
I have updated all my sound drivers (Realtek High Definition Audio) and restarted Windows Audio and Audio Endpoint in system services but the sound just won't come on.
I have noticed that the laptop does not go to sleep nearly as quickly (almost instantly) as before when the sound was fully functioning. Perhaps this could be part of the issue?
I just recently got a new pc it had windows 8 but i upgraded to windows 10 it was good for a week until today, I tried to boot it up and its stuck at the windows logo and then it says "preparing automatic repair " and it keeps on beeping. I tried to find bios but i couldn't find it, i pressed every key but no bios. I then put a windows 8 disk but it doesn't have an option to boot from cd/dvd. Its an Msi motherboard ....
My specs:
msi white gtx960 2gb <- gpu
MSI 760GMA-P34(FX) <- motherboard
So ever since I upgraded to windows 10 I have been getting this constant beeping type noise every couple minutes and I can't get it to stop unless I mute the computer completely. I've checked my notifications are all turned off and the only other thing I can think up is something with my Bluetooth because I know my computer has Bluetooth but for whatever reason right now it does't even show me Bluetooth as an option so I can't turn it off and I know I'm not popular enough to be getting that many emails. This noise, I can't get it to stop!
My other quick question is is there a way to change the default search browser for cortana from bing to google. I hate bing.
The Conexant HD Audio Sound Driver was replace by High Definition Audio Device after i update to Windows 10 Home Version 1511 from 1011
Now if i want to plug my earphones to the left side of the computer where the audio jack socket is located the sound does not transfer to my earphones except i will change the default sound device from speakers to headphones.
How can i set it to automatically when i plugin my headphones/earphones/external speaker automatically transfer the sound to this device without changing the settings?
I just bought this sound card and installed drivers for Windows 10. (and a crapton of bloatware with UI of Win XP media player...)
Everything works well except one thing: when I change the sound (or mute) I don't see Windows 10 volume bar. I mean these:
The sound itself changes, but there is no indicator. Is there a way to fix that?
Windows 10 Pro play sound at startup is checked but the select a sound option is grayed out...
View 6 RepliesI would like to eliminate the sound when I adjust the volume on the sound icon in the lower right hand area of the task bar . Wat steps I can take to be able to still adjust the volume, but not hear the loud sound it makes when adjusting?
View 3 RepliesI was previously on Windows 7 and upgraded to 10 when the notifications came out last month. In W7 I was able to open the SOUND RECORDER program
and then record sounds from the video that was playing through the internet explorer I was using at that time. It did NOT matter which internet explorer I was using, be it IE or CHROME or FIREFOX, etc. I was previously able to open a video, for example youtube, and then record the sound that was playing into the SOUND RECORDER program, and then save that file on my desktop as a WMA.
I have not been able to find the SOUND RECORDER program in Windows 10. Is it gone? I've tried downloading a couple freebie programs that are similar to it, but they're not recording the sounds either. So now I'm thinking maybe Windows 10 bypassed or simply disregarded my sound card altogether, ? Is that a possibility?
I just installed the most recent windows 10 tech preview last night; but my sound blaster pci express sound card did not get installed correctly or something because i am getting no sound at all. I roll everything back to the old setup.
View 9 RepliesBoth the Windows 10 laptop and the Windows Vista laptop have discovery on and file and printer sharing on. The printer is connected to the Windows Vista laptop. The Windows Vista laptop can see the files within the Windows 10 laptop. The Windows 10 laptop can see the Windows Vista computer but as soon as it tries to see inside it gives an error about "spelling of the name, etc." If using the diagnosis tool it says "One or more network protocols are missing from this computer". "Resolving problems as administrator" does not solve anything.
View 3 Replieshard disk of a laptop with windows 10 used as external USB drive to another laptop and it workded but there are some problems that display is poor and shows windows is not activated but in my previous samsung laptop it was activated when i downloaded it freely from Microsoft. Other things are going smoothly till now.
View 1 RepliesI have a laptop running Windows 7 that is connected to a printer. I am connected to the internet using a WiFi connection. I have a homegroup called workgroup. My wife has a laptop running Windows 7, connects to the internet using the same WiFi modem and prints using the printer on my laptop.
I downloaded Windows 10 on to my Windows 7 laptop and all of a sudden my wife can't print anymore. Microsoft, you've done it again. How I hate this!
I fooled around with HomeGroup settings on the Windows 10 laptop and the system attributes on my wife's laptop and now I can see her computer on my Windows 10 system. But I cannot see the printer on my system from her laptop.
I tried to click on my compueter from her laptop and I get a request for username and password. I don't know what username and password to use. I gather from reading the forum that I should put the name of my laptop in the username but I don't know where to look for the password.
This started 2 days ago. When ever i alt tab my sound stops working and mic stops working. I then have to disable both my mic and speaker and re enable them to fix it.
View 1 RepliesI have recently deleted my audio drivers and reinstalled them but my microphone is not working. I have set the right microphone as the default device and changed the microphone volume to the max but it has not fixed anything.
