I use Outlook to receive contracts and sign them in Adobe. My mail now opens in microsoft edge and it will not give me the option to sign and send back. I have tried to change my browser it will not correct Outlook mail.
View 2 RepliesI am using Mail app built in Windows 10. Office 2013 is installed with all applications. If I try to use the SendTo link from Explorer, it opens up Outlook instead of the default Mail app. In default programs, Mail has all his options checked.
How to make the SendTo work properly with Mail app?
I mistakenly chose IE as the browser for my emails to open in when I imported my mails from outlook and I wish to change this to MS Edge. How to I go about this? I've checked in the settings, but it doesn't seem to have what I'm looking for. MY IE doesn't function as well as Edge and I'd like to correct this.

View 1 RepliesUp until today's updates Right Click when using Edge had very limited functionality however much to my surprise Right Click options now include Copy, Paste, Copy Link, Copy Picture and Save Picture. Still MIA is Create Shortcut but I won't hold my breath.
View 9 RepliesTrying to set up my outlook in the Win 10 mail app...have all settings enter3ed correctly...including Outlook password for my cox email account...but every time I try to sync...sync window 10 just spins..Bigger issue is if I check the password for my outlook (Cox) account...the number of characters has doubled in Win 10 Mail settings ??My Outlook account for this mail box has 9 characters...works fine in Outlook 2003...
But when I check the password in the mail app...more than 12 characters-*'s show up in Win 10 app for password.Have deleted and added outlook mail pop a number of times...but after 'save'...I always get a much longer 'password'(*****etc) in settings than was entered in setup ?
I did the windows 10 upgrade yesterday and since then my Outlook 2010 cannot send mail. It receives mail as it should without any issues. I have multiple emails accounts with different vendors and it is doing the same on all of them so I have ruled out it being a hosting issue.I have also disabled all my internet security and firewall but that did not work at all?
View 9 RepliesTo Sync your email to Outlook after doing some email maintenance, hit the refresh button. I have attached a view of the button for reference. Note if you also are looking to manage your folders from Windows Mail, I have found that I need to do that from within Outlook. Unless someone has found another way....
View 1 RepliesMy parents Windows 7 laptop fried recently, I got them a new HP 350 G2 which came with Win8.1 and i upgraded to 10. My father used to use outlook express with an email through his ISP, and the only way I see to import that email into a new account involves being on the computer using outlook express and using the migration tool. Obviously I can't do that since that computer is toast (the motherboard fried).

Not sure if this is a MS issue. Default zoom setting for Edge is 125% but Outlook email is suddenly really tiny in size despite Edge showing 125%. The right hand 30% of the screen is now just empty white space. If I change it to 100% and back to 125% then it corrects until I close and reopen Edge. No other tabs are affected.

View 1 RepliesI think after one of the accumulative updates Windows Explorer started to open MSN in my default browser. This is very annoying.
I've tested my theory by restarting Windows Explorer from the task manager. Of course restarting the computer. Disable Automatic startup of Microsoft OneDrive. I scanned my System with Malwarebytes, nothing was found.
I reinstalled my Office 2007 programs back on my computer after updating to Windows 10. The only problem I am having is that Outlook won't open the default browser (IE11) when a link is clicked. Instead, it pops up a box that asks me what I want to use to open and , even if I select IE as the app and check the box that says always use this app, it doesn't "remember". I've set IE as the default browser, both in Outlook and as the default browser in Control Panel. Anything else I can do to make it open link with IE instead of Edge?
View 5 RepliesI am having trouble configuring Outlook 2010 on a new Windows 10 Pro clean install so that mail from multiple Gmail and Comcast accounts all go into 1 PST file. I would like to have 1 inbox for all 5 email accounts.
Even when I use "Manually configure Server settings" and specify an existing PST on D:Outlook, Outlook creates a new PST file on C:Users(My Username)AppDataLocalMicrosoftOutlook.
I have my own domain's email which uses Outlook itself. I can login via Live.com or Outlook.com and it works fine but I am unable to set it up via Outlook 2016.
Microsoft has provided me the following mail configuration in the Outlook.com settings:
Server name: pop-mail.live.com
Port: 995
Encryption method: SSL
Server name: smtp-mail.live.com
Port: 587
Encryption method: TLS
But when I use this I get the following error ....
So, instead of using my browser for my emails I set them up in Windows Mail, but although it will show all the folders it won't show anything in my inboxes. I've tried syncing but to no avail.

run sfc /scannow it runs about 15 minuets after completion, close command window reopen outlook and you will now be able to run outlook
I refuse to believe that Microsoft would have omitted this basic function. How does one Import from Windows Live Mail into the Windows 10 Mail App?
View 6 RepliesSince installing the November Windows 10 update (11/17/15) none of my favorites are being stored in the default Edge folder. While in Edge the favorites are available but when I go to the default folder they are not listed. Is there another location they may be being saved or has my default location somehow been changed? My AppData folder shows a creation date of 11/17/15 with no modifications being made in favorites since that date.

How do you pin Outlook web app to your taskbar on pc? I was able to do this in windows 7 but I can't remember how? I also sent a password for my nieces Outlook through Viber and when I click on it on my smartphone and it took me straight to my Outlook account. Have I now compromised myself to hackers?
View 2 Repliesthe email offered an update to windows live mail ,so I did it and now mail will not stay open ,,, I cant even get to the email to copy its contents here ,I will have to look on my other machine to get it ... I never line the new mail app ,just because it new maybe and not use to it, I will use outlook.com instead for Microsoft mail..
