Nov 28, 2015After I upgraded to latest windows 10 build (1151) ,I seem to have a problem of Chrome opening the first several requested web pages after computer comes out of "sleep" mode. I get the page that says cannot connect . After I hit retry it finds it . Sometimes the web pages don't load properly ie no pictures , just a listing or the picture color is not right. After a reload it works fine. After the first few pages of problems everything works fine again. It's like Windows or Chrome is having some delays accessing the requested pages when starting from a sleep mode.

Sep 20, 2015How do I turn off the mouse auto click when it hovers over a link in a web page. I downloaded the windows 10 and it has started doing this. I can't find a thing anywhere about this issue. I have an Asus laptop and a Toshiba laptop and they are both doing this since getting the windows 10. I spend more time going back to my original page than I get to read the original page! Try shopping and reading a description. Taking a test online was challenging to say the least.

Jul 18, 2015But I installed windows 10 build 10240 and my browser cant watch most videos on youtube cuz restricted mode always on. when I click off and save, it will refresh page and this mode still on.
I try with edge, chrome ( firefox has problem with certificate. cant visit too much site)
try to delete cookies, reset win10, upgrade from 8,1, clean install. and I cant disable this mode.
I tried to use vlc or kmplayer too and it still fail
Browser/Email :: IE Crashed After Enhanced Security Mode
Dec 24, 2015When I moved to WIndows 10 both Edge and IE works fine. But recently, Edge started to falling apart. It crashes with a message and the display is too short that I don't even have enough time reading it before Edge close itself. Since I still have IE so just don't bother to fix it. But then, IE started to slow down and loading a page might take few minutes while Firefox responds immediately. Also, I couldn't download anything from web.
Clicking any download related button (even showing a pdf file) did not have any response at all. I suspect it may be due to some add-on, so I disable almost all add-on except the MS search ones. But still IE is slow in loading pages. I searched the web and found some about enhanced security mode in IE. I switched it on and also another option called something 64-bit processes for enhanced security mode. But after restart IE, it closes itself without a single message, just like Edge. I am not able to change the setting back. So what can I do to get back the IE and Edge?

Sep 27, 2015I have a desktop computer with built in WiFi and Bluetooth. I have installed the latest drivers from the MFG website (ASUS ROG Maximus VII Formula). The problem is that Airplane mode will not disable. When you click on it, it shows that you clicked on it, but immediately resets to "On" no matter what.
You will also notice that WiFi and Bluetooth are missing from the control panel.
I have made sure both devices are enabled at the BIOS level, however, due to Airplane mode being forced on, they do not even show up in the device manager (even under "show hidden").
I do not thing this is a BIOS/Driver issue; this appears to be a bug.
HP 15-f010dx Notebook PC Won't Turn On After Sleep Mode
Aug 2, 2015I own an "HP 15-f010dx Notebook PC (ENERGY STAR)." I recently upgraded my computer from Windows 8 to Windows 10. Ever since then when my computer goes to sleep mode I cannot turn it back on I as was able to do with Windows 8 by clicking or using the touch-pad. I know the computer is on because the light for the Internet on the keyboard is on, but it never gets out of sleep mode. I've tried changing the power settings, but to no use. The only way I can turn the computer back on is by holding the power button for about 10 seconds, shutting down the computer, then pressing it again to turn it back on. It's really annoying when all my apps get shut off and I have to open them all again because of this.

Aug 9, 2015I started my windows 10 update around 10:00 last night. For awhile it seemed stuck in suspend mode (black screen, monitor light orange, computer light still on etc) and I was worried but eventually I got the update screen and it went from 30% to 56% in around 30 minutes or so.The bottom screen said my computer would turn off and on again multiple times. But then later it went back to the "suspend mode" again right before I fell asleep and now 9 hours later it's still stuck like this!! No update screen no nothing. Just sitting is a suspend mode (I think!) And not allowing me to do anything.

Jan 23, 2016I am having a problem whereby my default browser keeps changing from IE11 back to either Edge or blank. Why this might be happening or what program is causing it to change? I thought it maybe the Windows Auto Update that keep changing but am now not so sure of that since the last recorded update is back on 14th January and my default Browser got changed again last evening.
The only other programs that run regularly are Norton Internet Security and Norton Utilities. However, I have been through the settings of both of those programs and cannot detect anything that would indicate that they change the default Browser.
Also, in IE11 under the advanced tab I have ticked the option the "Tell me if Internet Explorer is not the default web browser" and yet (a) I do not get a notification and (b) the default browser keeps getting changed.

However, now after the upgrade and Edge there seems to be no availability to run it as admin. Aug 15, 2015Edge is a great browser! However one thing I really miss from IE is having my favorites sidebar always visible at all times. With Edge you have to select it EACH TIME and pin it to the window display. This becomes a real pain and seems unnecessary. Is it possible to configure the favorite's sidebar to be always on by default? A real extra would be to have it on the left hand side again like IE which seemed to have this facility/capability just right. The horizontal favorites across the top is useless because so few are visible. (No luck with other forums) else I'm going back to IE.

I can still use Explorer but Edge had some features I liked and I would like to go back to it before too long. I have seen some comments here about proxy servers and the like but I am not brave enough to tinker with that.

Oct 6, 2015I upgraded my computer to Windows 10, however I cannot play Flash content in Edge browser. It is enabled in the advanced settings in Edge and it is still not working, saying I have to update my Flash plugin, however it is supposed to be bundled with Edge.
I do not have a problem with Flash content in Chrome or IE11 browsers, but would like to be able to use Edge as well.
Now, I also encounter the following error message from Windows Update:
"Security Update for Internet Explorer Flash Player for Windows 10 for x64-based Systems (KB3087040) - Error 0x800f0922"
which I guess is related to the issue of missing Flash Player in my Windows.
