View 1 RepliesI have the "Sonic Studio DLA" uninstall issue and have done every trick I can find. One time I hid the Uninstall and continue button and it magically went on to install Windows 10 successfully! However the one issue I had was the bluetooth driver was missing so I went to install one from Toshiba site (Satellite L775) and it caused an error condition so I wanted to back it out but it was 2 am and I was tired so I tried the go to previous build option - expecting it to go to previous restore point of when it was first installed but no - It went back to Windows 7 and I am stuck at "uninstall Sonic Studio DLA" message again. Wife is happy because she wasn't that excited about learning Win 10 but I would prefer to have it upgraded anyway and she balks at the clean install. So I know Windows 10 works and message is not accurate , so how do I bypass it? Will a quiet install or unattended with answers bypass it?

View 2 RepliesI woke up this morning and turned on my laptop from sleep mode and it went straight to my desktop not to a screen to ask to input my password like usually. Is this normal or some mix up?
View 2 RepliesI am getting a bit frustrated with Windows 10 Pro and not sure what to try. So I do not want to use OneDrive or Quick Access. One of the first things I did was go to folder options and changed "open file explorer to:" this PC instead of quick access. I then unchecked both quick access options under privacy. So now when I hit start and select downloads, pictures, or file explorer, it actually opens to this PC. Not documents though. It still opens to quick access every time. I tried a restart, still nothing.
View 8 RepliesI like to turn on my computer then walk away and make my kids lunch etc. When I come back to it I want to be ready to work. Not have to enter a password then wait for it to be done booting up.
View 1 Replieshow to eliminate the lock screen preview and bypass the 'Sign In' button on the lock screen?I often put my computer to sleep then to bring it back (in Windows 7) I would simply hit the space bar and turn on my mouse and it would go straight to my desktop. Now, I hit the space bar turn on my mouse, and it takes me to the lock screen preview then I hit the space bar and it takes me to a lock screen where I have to click 'Sign In' even though I have no password set.
I'm guessing I'll no longer be able to hit the spacebar, turn on my mouse and go directly to the desktop but if I can hit the spacebar, turn on the mouse, then hit the space bar one last time, that would be satisfactory.
I just upgraded all my computers to Windows 10.
My 15 year old is clever enough to bypass the (new) Family settings controlled Microsoft Account I just set up for him by converting the account to a local account. This seems to let him play as long as he wants, without time restrictions. I didn't get an email about this, or any other notification. This is the second time he has done it.
Why is it so easy to completely bypass all the family safety settings it took me hours(!) to finally get set up?
Also the Family Recent Activity shown on my Microsoft Account web site doesn't seem to update itself. It is at least two or three days behind, perhaps more. How often does Recent Activity update? Is it supposed to be near instantaneous?
When my friend was at my house he got a hack on my computer that obviously didn't work. Now everytime i start my computer the hack pops up.

Start up at boot isn't going to work, because I just lock my computer and dont shut down.
I have a home server, and I have multiple users to able to have multiple private folders. So, let's say I have my own user and my partners user and a server user.
I have some applications that I want to run on startup, and so does the server user. My partner has access to a folder, and the server has access to some folders and so do I. But I need to run some software that can only interact with my folders. This software also doesn't run as a service, and I've tried a bunch of workarounds but they don't work with this piece of software due to other issues.
So, what I'd like to do is, upon boot, have multiple users load their designated apps upon startup. Is that possible? Can I have Windows 10 log in to multiple users upon startup to have their respective applications load and run?
I have installed a clean windows 10 installation, and i keep having these different BSOD every time my computer is making a cold start = i shut the pc down in the evening and in the morning BSOD starts the day.. the computer restarts, and it works all day long, resetting and turn off and quick turn on again no BSOD.
I have attached my .zip file
The computer goes to sleep after a period of inactivity, when mouse or keyboard is used the tower starts up but the monitor won't. I've gone into Device Manager and made sure mouse and keyboard will wake machine, but alas, no monitor. Must reboot every time.

View 1 RepliesWindows seems to start normally, then keeps going back to the login page. Is it possible to lock yourself out of Windows 10?
View 1 RepliesIt has been doing this EVERY time I restart or start up my computer. It is very annoying as it clears some of my apps. It also says it is putting me on a temporary account or something like that.
View 1 RepliesSince downloading W10 onto my SP3 every time I start the machine up a notification pops up telling me that I need to verify my Microsoft account.
Clicking on the notification takes me to the accounts page of the settings menu.
Sometimes when I reach the page the account settings will update itself within a few seconds and I won't have to do anything, but on other occasions I need to go through the annoying process of sending my email address to MS and waiting for a returning verification code.
I'm the only user of the machine, so it's not like it's mixing me up with another account holder who uses the device.
After install of November update, or 1511 (for the 11th month of 2015), or build 10586 windows 10 update now all apps in Microsoft Office 2013 Professional Plus except Microsoft Word configure each time they start.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled Microsoft Office 2013 Professional Plus with same result.
