View 3 RepliesWhen I attempt to install Photoshop 6 I can go no further than clicking on Photoshop 6 at the install button. I receive no messages etc. My CD drive is OK as I have loaded heaps of other progs.

How to make Photoshop 7 to work on Windows 10?
View 9 Replieswhen I want to view my brushes they appear on a black background screen so they are not visible .Is there any way of changing the color of the background?
View 9 Repliesive updated and checked up on all of my drivers and in the scan they seem to be fine and completely up to date, and for a day after I didn't have any more problems but the problem recently started up again, and I haven't been able to open up any of my adobe apps and most of my applications without encountering the BSOD. I'm not sure but I believe I'm also having problems with photoshop being unresponsive but I'm unsure if that's possibly related? since it started up after the BSOD problems showed up
View 1 RepliesI use Photoshop Elements 6 to edit my photos. I checked and it is compatible with Windows 10. When I try to save images (using a .jpg suffix and renamed) I get an error message "You don't have permission to save in this location. Contact the administrator to obtain permission. Would you like to save in the Pictures folder instead?" If I click Yes, I get another message asking me to contact the administrator. I am the administrator...
View 4 RepliesI bought Lenovo Y5070 laptop recently with these specs: Intel Corei7 4720, 16 gig Ram, Geforce GTX 960m 4 Gig DDR5, and the second graphic card of intel 4600.
I installed windows 10 on this laptop with the latest drivers but I have a big issue with multitasking, e.g. I can not run photoshop easily when another application is open, it takes time and a lag and small hanging (sometimes) to open the second application (for example media player).
I have been having an issue where I am received an intermittent blue screen of death with the message DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE. The issue seems to be occurring when I'm using Adobe Photoshop CC 2015. I have updated my BIOS and graphics card to the most recent version, but this doesn't seem to have remedied the issue.
View 9 RepliesI've been having this issue for about a week where any time I try to upload a file in Chrome or open a file in Photoshop CC, explorer will crash the program. It happens any time I try to navigate to another folder. If I leave the initially loaded folder open everything is fine and I am able to upload/open files from that folder. Explorer itself doesn't seem to be crashing, just the program that is bringing up the window. windows 10, chrome and photoshop are all up to date. Saving is working fine. Dragging and dropping a file when available is working fine. I've tested the ability to navigate folders and upload/open files in Firefox, Google Sketchup, Clip Studio Paint, and paint tool sai, those programs are working.
View 1 RepliesSo I'm working on a brand new Dell laptop, and I've been working with Adobe Illustrator & Bridge CS6 and Photoshop CC almost every day for the last week and a bit (got it December 12th, 2015). Everything's been fine up until yesterday, when the BSOD hit me suddenly while trying to save a file in Photoshop. Since that initial crash I can't even have Photoshop open for more than a few moments without the same thing happening. Each time it's a Kernel Security Check Failure.
I ran Windows Memory Diagnostic, I ran chkdsk, updated my drivers, did a full system virus scan in McAfee, and even tried uninstalling all Adobe programs, running Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool, and reinstalling from scratch. The moment I get Photoshop up and running again the same thing happens.
Take a look at my minidump files and let me know what might be causing the problem. Photoshop is essential for some important work I'm trying to get through by the end of the year

Surfing the web like normal with Photoshop in the background (not doing anything on it yet)Monitor goes dark blue/green and returns to normal saying Photoshop has stopped working, and saying in the bottom right corner that the driver had failed and then recovered.
View 2 RepliesDidn't notice until recently that the shortcut to Adobe Acrobat reader is not there and I can't find it in my programs. I was worried about some documents that i had recorded in ecosign but when i typed ecosign into the Search Bar it led me to the site and everything is there except my electronic signature This leads me to think that Adobe is in there somewhere. In going to their site I see that Adobe 11 seems to be the latest. Should I just download it? Before Windows 10 Adobe always sent me update notices.
View 5 RepliesWhy did it change all my adobe files to PDF so they are no longer usable? Biggest mistake ever-windows 10
View 13 RepliesI have a user that is testing out windows 10 and Acrobat DC keeps crashing when saving a.pdf. Tried different .pdf's same result. I have UN-installed dc and re-installed it and still same problem. I don't think this is a problem with Windows 10 as I have had this issue before in windows 7 as well. The only resolution so far is to put Acrobat 11 pro back on. Unfortunately our Manager want us to move toward DC.
View 5 RepliesI've been using Acrobat Reader since upgrading to Windows when it was released in August. This morning I attempted download a PDF file, but was told that the file "couldn't be downloaded". I assumed my copy of Acrobat Reader had become corrupted, so uninstalled it. I then attempted to download and reinstall Acrobat Reader, only to get the following message, "readerdc_en_fb_install.exe couldn't be downloaded". Assuming that Edge may be the problem, I attempted download and install Chrome. But this also resulted in the same message that I received with Acrobat.
I have downloaded and installed all Windows 10 updates through those released yesterday (Friday, 12/4/2015). I have changed nothing with Windows Firewall or Internet Options since originally installing Windows 10 in August.
To make things more confusing, I installed Acrobat Reader in an Acer Aspire V3 laptop this morning, which also is up to date with Win10. Then I successfully downloaded the original PDF file that I referred to above. Therefore I assume something may have become corrupted in my desktop, an HP Pavilion HP8-1234, during the one of the recent Windows 10 updates.
When I try to do something that requires flash player I get a message saying I need flash player to continue. It shows it has been downloaded. Edge and Google Chrome both say it is enabled. The test for it says it needs to be enabled or something about active x filtering.
View 7 RepliesI just setup my new Dell XPS 15, but I am having issues with Adobe CC. Whenever I open an app, close it, and open another I get a KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE BSoD. It only happens with Adobe CC. I have attached a screenshot of the WhoCrashed report : [URL] ....
View 1 Repliesa few days ago I installed Windows 10 from Windows 7. All was OK, so far. I have an Adobe file in my desktop. But the icon showed is always black (no thumbnail) since Windows 10. (see image attached) So I clean both icon and thumbnail caches, and increase the Max Icons Cache for Explorer to 4096.
But without success. After rebooting Windows 10 the right thumbnail is shown, but after few minutes the thumnail is black again.I use a Laptop COMPAQ CQ58, 32-Bit Windows 10 Pro, 4GB RAM
Most programs on my Adobe CS3 work just fine in Windows 10, but I'm having problems with Illustrator. The program will run, but I get an error message every time I try to open a file or start a new document. My error message says "The program has stopped working" and it forces me to close the program.
I've tried restarting my computer, uninstalling and reinstalling the entire Creative Suite, and filing a compatibility report, but nothing has worked so far. My mom is using the same user certificate on her Windows 10 machine and it works perfectly, but I haven't had any luck with my computer. What I can do?
Working in AI 10.3 on a Mac, opened a file to update, Save, closed and later tried re-opening the file and got the following message: Can't open the illustration. The illustration contains an incomplete or garbled object description.
offending operator: ','
Context:
/Basic Filter:
(Abode ArtOnPath Brush Tool) 1 0 /Filter ,
(Art Brush Tool) / PluginFileName ,
(Art Brush) /Title ,
The same file will get the same message in AI CS on this or any other Mac in the office. Clicking the ok button will open the file but the is nothing shown in the window besides the basic AI screen.
(We are using AI 10 due to compatiblity issue between us and our vendors.) Is there away to repair this file or get the data out of it? This is a project that is still in progress.
I downloaded 7-zip and am trying to compress a sound file and my system saves the file to PDF Adobe format. This means that I cannot open the file.
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling 7-zip but it isn't working.
just installed windows 10 but when I try to access some games I get the message to install adobe flash but then am told it is already installed on my system.
View 4 RepliesWe bought a new laptop with Windows 10 for my daughter and flash player will not work. It is enabled and says it is installed but will not work on any site. A real problem as pretty much all the sites my daughter wants to use needs flash player! I know this is not an isolated problem to us as I've seen other posts elsewhere - but no resolution as yet.
View 1 RepliesI read a lot of stuff on the internet and it seemed the prevailing solution for this problem is to go into Settings/System/Default Apps and then set the default according to the file extension.
Been there, done that, at least 5 times. And it still opens with Edge and changes the default back to Edge. Microsoft doesn't want you controlling anything, do they?
How do I change this and make Adobe Reader the default, once and for all?
