I tried installing the network drivers for Windows 10 on my new PC and it says that "Cannot install drivers. No Intel Adapters are present in this computer" whenever I try to install it.
SPECS:
CPU: AMD FX-8300
M/B: Asrock 970 R3 2.0
GPU: Nvidia GT 630 (Will upgrade to GTX 970 soon)
New build. From a fresh install of windows 10 i try to install the drver for my IGPU Intel HD 530. each time i do that i get a BSOD with this message:
VIDEO_TDR_FAILURE igdkmd64.sys
Or sometimes it's
SYSTEM_THREAD_EXEPTION_NOT_HANDELED igdkmd64.sys
I've tried drivers from motherboard manufacturer CD, website and intel and some autodetect driver software. I always get the same behavior:
The screen start blinking several time ( black screen) before showing the BSOD then reboot and repeat it self. Even the driver downloaded by windows update have the same impact.
I've managed to install it in safe mode but when i restart in normal mode i get the same behavior.
I've tried 2 different monitors, VGA and HDMI , tried with UEFI on/off => same result.
I've tweaked once the tdr delay to 8 second, but didn't work.

I have been installing and reinstalling windows 10 through bootcamp 6 on El Captain on my Macbook Pro.
But i keep getting the same result - the speakers and right click option are missing.
Where i can download drivers for Windows 10 on bootcamp 6 or what other way to resolve this issue.
Unfortunatley I am unable to install any driver for my phone; the Oneplus One. This is the error I'm getting:
"one of the installers for this device cannot perform the installation at this time"
I get the same error for ADB and Fastboot drivers.
What Drivers should I install after formatting windows 10? Is there a way to, say, scan my PC and it'll tell me the drivers?
View 1 RepliesI recently purchased G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) Desktop Memory Model F3-10666CL9D-8GBXL for my computer. I ran a memory test with memtest86+ and my old memory had 175 errors, which is not good. So I purchased the new ram, but when I installed it in my computer, the system turns on but Windows 10 will not boot.
Does this mean that the RAM is bad? I know that it's compatible because I narrowed my search down on NewEgg to RAM that was compatible with my motherboard. The one thing that I did notice is that my motherboard's manual says that it's compatible with 2 sticks of DRAM and the RAM that I purchased is SDRAM.
When I connect my USB cord, the printer shows in the "Unspecified" devices, rather than the "Printers"I downloaded HP latest package from August 2015. I also tried my original CD. Both don't recognize my LJ-1020 as a printer and won't complete installation.
I also tried another cable and USB port. No difference.From Device Manager, I found my LJ-1020 under the "Other Devices", I also tried "Update Driver", it eventually HP 2012.918.1.57980, but then fails "Windows encountered a problem..."Of course I did all of this using Windows 7 and Administrator compatibility mode .
EDIT: I tried "Add a printer" and it eventually added my LJ-1020 in printers. But I am unable to print anything and when I turn on my printer, it also shows in the "Unspecified" devices.
I did a clean install on my PC with Windows 10 and now am going to download drivers from my mobo site. It is an asus maximus vi hero and there are only a couple of drivers on the site for windows 10. what should I do about all the other missing drivers?
View 1 RepliesI'm planning to go from windows 8 to windows 10 after getting my first build, and I'm curious if I need to update my drivers before getting windows 10 or not. I know you put in the OS disc before any driver discs that came with your hardware so I don't know if I can just do a clean install of windows 10 and then get my drivers or not.
View 1 Repliesas said above i own a windows 7 key and don't want to waste the time to get a 7 iso just to upgrade to windows 10 and i also will have a difficult time since i don't know how to install drivers onto windows 7 to get the internet for a z170 motherboard (it looked difficult) since windows 7 is legacy for the z170 chipset and it isint as simple as popping a disk in from what i saw(more of a glance).

But windows comes with .net framework 4.6 & 4.5 and below.
So I tried disabling the windows one and re downloading it and that didnt work, it says already installed. How do I get around this?
own a sony vaio laptop and recently did a clean install of windows 10 on it, however I noticed that the volume was significantly lower than windows 8.1. My computer uses Realtek HD Audio.I tried installing drivers from Sony's as well as Realtek's website, however there is still no change.
View 8 RepliesSince installing Windows 10 my desktop will no longer recognise any external microphones, i've tested the microphonse elsewhere and they're working fine. The only place on my pc that will still recognise the microphone is Skype which only shows it in the settings in the form of the green bar moving; Echo and other skype calls will not read the mic.
View 1 RepliesI have two common home printers, Lexmark inkjet and HP laserjet on a home network, and when I upgraded from W7 to W10 they were not installed. The W10 network scan brought up nothing, even though both printers were switched on and 'awake'. Even with the laptop placed right next to the printers, still nothing! So I now have no way of printing and no way of installing a printer!
PS: I also have blurry fonts, and I see from this forum and the web in general that that's a whole separate world of grief!
I was under the impression that I was going to have a hard drive failure and purchased a new hard drive and cloned windows to it. it turned out my drive is fine, so I would like to use the drive as a second drive in my system.
if I just plug it in, will my computer boot from the now C: drive or will it boot from the second drive, since it is a bootable drive?
Or can I plug it in after it booted up?
it is installed and the power is connected, but the data cable is not.
I gave my C: drive a name so I can find it in file manager and don't format the wrong drive when I plug in the second drive.
Done the upgrade, then straight away done the clean install...very impressed...so far, everything working a treat, but alas not a sound from my speakers, device manager shows my budget Asus Xonar DGX sound card is working properly, my light on speakers lights up...but nothing, I've had speakers since windows 95, really miss them now, especially after a super clean install. I know the speakers might be at fault, but how can I check them?, I haven't got another computer, tried them with my Toshiba satellite Equuim but the sound come through their built in system.

View 1 RepliesI recently replaced my GTX 660 with a GTX 970, and after I had completed installing that, the PC started up perfectly. The only issue was the internet said it was not connected (with a red X on the connection icon). I used the troubleshooter to discover that I did not have a LAN driver installed and windows didn't couldn't detect what I needed. I check my files and the driver was still there, so I uninstalled it expecting the disk that had come with the box of the motherboard to reinstall the driver correctly. After I had uninstalled the driver and used the disk to try and reinstall, the driver did not reappear. I searched for a driver install separately on my laptop, but to no avail. Nothing seemed to be compatible with my motherboard. The driver which I had assumed matched state that it could not detect the family of driver on my PC. I tried to do a recovery but didn't have a backup file, and resorted to a factory reset. After trying the disk after the reset, and continuing to search for the right driver, I came up empty handed.

I just did a fresh install of win 7 home Premium, and installed the windows updates that came up automatically. I'd like to keep this system free of bloat and I do NOT have the driver update/laptop install disc.
I have formatted the SSD twice now because (I think) I installed drivers in an improper order; I keep having different issues with unrecognized hardware or sound not working etc. This time around I have gone only with Win 7 updates and now I would like to install only what is necessary to get this back to gaming.

So is it chipset 1st... then restart... then GFX drivers+restart then... etc. Just getting this machine to work properly again
So, after a fresh install I immediately noticed this service running, I know this is Windows 10 pushing Asus crap on me (I own a z97 pro mobo).
My main question is, how can I actually remove this? I know where the service is located, I can just simply remove that folder but what about the AMDA00 in the device manager? Is it safe to just uninstall it? I think this is just a probe thing to be used with Asus Suite which I don't use, nor any other asus software.
i've updated to windows 10 on my pc and i'm unable to download the driver for my epson sx235w printer to my pc. i've tried the install disc and also via the drivers online. each time it starts to download the drivers it gets stuck on the download part with the spinning wheel for at least 30mins.
the printer was working perfectly on windows 8 via a usb cable, but since going to windows 10 the printer isnt recognised and the drivers wont install.
I have a Dell Inspiron SE 7520 with Intel HD 4000 and HD 7730M. So I tried every possible solution to this and nothing. I uninstalled the drivers (both). Tried to use the latest drivers for both and nothing. Tried every other possible fix (Scandisk, sfc/scannow, etc) and I can't make both drivers work at the same time. Only thing I can do is make Intel 4000 work alone, but not the 7730. If I let 4000 work alone I can use my notebook, otherwise is endless reboot.
Problem happened when I was playing Fallout 4, I received a message of "Driver crashed and recovery", but then I got BSOD with endless reboot. All messages on the blue screen are about drivers. (I get diferrent messages). I reinstalled Windows 10 but it didnt fixed it. I tried Windows 7 and nothing. It seems that there isn't a fix for this, what should I do?

View 1 RepliesMy drivers failed to install correctly, my computer black-screened during the install of them when I was using Driver Booster. Now my PC isn't detecting my second HDD. It is in BIOS, but not in Device Manager. It is not showing up in all utilities, even if I show hidden ones. The stupid program didn't create a backup and I can't tell for sure what drivers it has broken.
I think some were Human Interface Devices, Universal Serial Bus Controllers, some SATA controllers and some others, can't tell. It also isn't showing up where you format and partition drives, windows just straight up can't detect that it is connected. I have tried Windows Repair, didn't work. I can't find any info, I don't have a way to roll-back. Will resetting my PC even work? Now I can't access my main drive, how can I reset these basic drivers without being able to rollback? I have seen some mention of uninstalling drivers such as...
"I had similar problem with my added disk drive when I upgraded. I had to go to device manager IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers and delete all ATA channels, back out and restart. Let Windows find all ATA devices and there were both my disk drives.."
But I am not certain whether it is safe to uninstall that driver or others. All my files are on that drive. My PC now cant detect my on-board SSD too and it cannot detect my CD-ROM too. Would resetting my BIOS reset the those base drivers?
I'm a student and my university has a subscription to Dreamspark, so I got a Win10 key, along with an ISO-file from there. I'm using a Lenovo G700 and trying to perform a clean install from a bootable USB-stick.
I have tried creating this USB-stick with the "Win7 USB DVD Download Tool", using different guides from the internet with NTFS and Fat32 filesystem, launching the setup normally and through UEFI, using the "Media Creation Tool" ([URL]) to create the USB-stick directly and downloading the ISO file first and creating a bootable USB-stick from that with all the methods above, but no matter which of these methods I use, I get the following error during installation:
"A media driver your computer needs is missing." (URL)
Unfortunatley, I am currently running Win7 Pro x64 on my laptop and the following page says, that the upgrade to Win10 only works from Win8.1, not Win7: [URL]
When I try to use the "Media Creation Tool" to instantly perform an upgrade, I get the following error:
"Something happened... 0x80070422 - 0x90016"
What drivers could the installation possibly be missing? I don't have any external devices plugged in, except for the bootable USB-stick, of course. I tried downloading all drivers for Win7 x64 and Win10 x64 from the Lenovo page ([URL])
