View 1 Repliesi can't scroll using touch screen in my browser or photos or anywhere else after the Windows 10 upgrade. is there an update coming or are there any settings for the same ?
View 1 RepliesEver since I updated to Windows 10 I have not been able to scroll using the 2 finger gesture on my touch pad. I am using an Asus G75VW laptop and I have updated all my drivers, looked everywhere for one that will update/fix the issue, and nothing seems to work. I've tried installing the latest Synaptics drivers and using the Windows 10 auto driver update, gone through every setting somewhat related to pointing devices and blah blah blah. I just want to scroll without having to click and hold the friggin side scroll button.

View 1 RepliesI'm using a tablet for input on my windows 10 desktop pc and while the touch keyboard is invoked fine throughout the system and even Edge, when I try to type stuff in Chrome, nothing happens. I have to manually invoke the keyboard via taskbar icon.
I do have a physical keyboard connected to the pc but as the tablet is placed in front of the keyboard, I want to keep using the touch keyboard. If I remember correctly it worked just fine with windows 8.1.
Since yesterday, I'm unable to switch between user accounts. Button changes from white to blue when hovered, but no response to click.
View 1 RepliesI must have done something wrong. I unpinned all of the apps from start in order to re-organize. The apps are still listed under chrome and I put a couple of them back and of course they contain the symbol of the website. After I put the first one back, I clicked on it and instead of going to the website, it went to the chrome browser.
View 3 RepliesTried using DDU and it asked to enter safe mode, went to safe mode, it then said "insert bootable media" and I tried to select it from BIOS but I could never get to BIOS because my mouse and keyboard controls were dead. Nothing I've done (plugging, unplugging) has fixed this issue. How to fix this.
View 1 RepliesSo something weird happened the other day and my mouse would not click certain buttons on chrome, windows it self and a few other things. other things would click just fine. I restarted my computer and nothing changed. Reset cmos and low and behold it worked. and now it keeps redoing it over and over.
View 1 RepliesThey changed mouse scroll to scroll next/previous instead of zoom. I use a Logitech mouse with Setpoint installed and because of Setpoint smooth scroll, it scrolls through several photos on one scroll. Turning smooth scroll off, it doesn't always scroll next when the mousewheel "clicks". Another thing with my Logitech mouse is that I can't use the forward/backward buttons. They function as left click. Double click any and it zooms in. I can't change Setpoint settings per app because Photos isn't really a typical exe app like Notepad.
The last thing is that it seems to sharpen the photos even when I turned auto adjustments off. Compare Photos to Firefox and even Windows Photo Gallery and you'll see.So far, Windows Photo Gallery seems like a good alternative, except it doesn't play gifs (unless you click next frame really fast).
I upgraded to Win. 10 8/3. Everything seemed to work fine for 2 days. Then yesterday, the 5th, I could no longer scroll sites up or down by touching and moving my fingers up or down. The other touch functions still work, like going to links or sites, the 'click here' (touch here) options, close, etc. I can even scroll by touching the scroll bar and moving it up or down or right or left. My fingers don't scroll anymore unless they move the bar. And I just noticed areas on the sites don't get bigger or smaller with just fingers touching them and moving them farther apart either. But I don't know if that's supposed to happen. It did with Win 8.

View 1 RepliesMy Lenovo Flex 15 has lost its touchscreen capability after the Windows 10 upgrade. I have tried the common solutions like deleting the drivers, doing a driver roll-back and running the Windows hardware troubleshooter, all to no avail. Before I restore to Windows 8.1 ...
View 1 RepliesRunning windows 10 on my ASUS Q550LF and touch screen does not work. Device manager shows that I have two graphics cards (Intel HD graphics family and NVIDIA GEForce GT 745 M) and they both have the exclamation point next to them. Both drivers are up to date, yet the touch screen will not work.

View 1 RepliesI broke the Acer R7 touch screen. The break in the top right corner causes the touch screen to randomly change the mouse focus even if I do not use the laptop. The crack in the screen takes focus away from the login prompt box as I type in my password.
It was using Windows 8.1 and with some difficulty was able to disable the Devices>Touchscreen Then it worked fine when touchscreen device driver was disabled.
I then upgraded to Windows 10 which re-enabled the touchscreen However the touchscreen mouse movements wont even let me login.
I would like to disable the Windows 10 Device>touchscreen driver as I did in Windows 8.1 But cannot even login.
I know there are not to many people who like the touch side of things, but I have just installed 10 on a touch deviceStar Screen is the default, looks exactly the same as 8.Apps all launch maximized on the desktop (not the new full screen option).
View 4 RepliesOn W8.1, it'd appear on just about every blank box I'd touch with my finger. Now it almost never appears, for anything. Is this supposed to happen, or is it a bug?
View 3 RepliesI have been having a problem with disabling the touchscreen in my windows 10 laptop. At one point, my laptop fell on cement. Luckily no hardware was damaged except for the screen's glass, losing its touchscreen capability. The problem is that the screen keeps recording false touches, making it difficult to get work done. I took the liberty of disabling the screen on Device Manager, however, after a few boots, the touch screen was somehow re enabled. I tried uninstalling the device, but it is built into the windows operating system and would simple be re enabled at the next boot. Is there any way to keep windows from recognizing the touchscreen without physically removing the touchscreen?
View 1 RepliesI have multiple small scroll bars on my screen whenever I am done scrolling on a page. If I hover over the scroll bars with the mouse, the 'busy' windows thingy spins around. All my drivers say they are up to date. Picture attached.

View 1 RepliesI re-installed win10 on my ASUS Q302LA laptop after completely wiping the c: drive using Ubuntu. I installed Ubuntu in order to delete the "Old windows" folder, which apparently can only be done from windows if you have god or "trusted user" status, whatever the hell that is. After installing over Ubuntu using win10 from an iso optical disk, the usb ports and device manager no longer register my seagate external hdd. Now this is scary because the seagate is a "backup" drive and now it's useless. It's still good and works fine with my hp elite so nothing's lost, but the idea that were I not to have a second computer my data would be unaccessible by the very products supposedly designed to keep it safe. The touchscreen feature is also non-functional. I'm not sure whether this is a win10 problem or an ASUS driver problem specific to this computer.
