Nov 30, 2015My problem is that sometimes (around once or twice a day), I get my laptop stucked suddenly. The cursor does not move. The keyboard also does not work (even by trying to turn CAPS lock on and off, I don't see the light on keyboard changing]. So I have to do forced restart.Before having windows 10, I was using Windows 7 and it was fine. Important note is that I had same problem with Windows 8 so that I returned back to 7.

Jul 30, 2015I recently upgraded Windows 8.1 to Windows 10.0. I have tried reinstalling Synaptics, removing and uninstalling Synaptics, disabling palmcheck, but it wouldn't work. It's annoying when you are playing a game that requires moving while pressing keys on your keyboard. I also have Synaptics 7.5 (19.0.10). The only way I can move my mouse while pressing any key is pressing (any key) + shift.

Aug 16, 2015I just upgraded to Windows 10 from Windows 7 and I have a 2 monitor setup. I like to drag/drop windows from one monitor to the other, but Windows 10 has a barrier it seems right in the top corners. If I'm on the left monitor, and I go to drag a window to the right monitor, it will hang in the top right corner of the left monitor and not move, until I move the cursor down slightly, then it'll let me move it. Is there a way to remove that stopgap so I can move windows freely from one monitor to the other without having to go around the top corner?

Oct 14, 2015I have had this issue for only a couple of days now. I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling the drivers for the mouse, sound card, and headset, which still hasn't worked. I've seen other sites talking about an "Intel Technologies Access Services" which isn't showing up in my task manager or services (I'm assuming that's a good thing). I guess I'm just not exactly sure what else to try at this point.

Sep 13, 2015So my computer started running a bit slower then it should be, at the point where my computer to open would take half a min, so i did fresh install. So i left installation overnight, i wake up in the morning and it say "Hi there" installation menu where you choose Country, language, keyboard layout and timezone, but it's totally froze, i can not see mouse cursor or use my keyboard, if my monitor goes to sleep i can't turn it on back. I did read that it's problem with drivers not installed. I've tried restarting pc few times. Is it true that problem is with drivers not installed correctly or at all?

Jan 12, 2016turned my computer on yesterday and it loaded up fine, apart from there was no cursor and my keyboard wouldn't work. I have a R.A.T. 5 mouse and a Coolermaster QuickFire keyboard. I know that they're on and working because their LED's are on. I decided to plug in my old ps2 keyboard and restart my PC to enter BIOS. I checked and it recognises that the keyboard and the mouse are connected into the USB hub and says they're working. Another thing, even my ps2 keyboard doesn't work when my computer gets past the start screen!

Nov 21, 2015I recently got rid of a cabled keyboard in favor of a smaller bluetooth keyboard (MS Mobile 6000). Everything is great except that now, I have a hard time putting my PC to sleep. In fact, it tends to wake up after 30 seconds or so. I'm pretty sure this is due to the BT keyboard.

Dec 21, 2015Okay, so I take blame for accidentally messing up my Windows 10. My NVIDIA graphics card wasn't working and wasn't letting me install my drivers. Well that aside, now that I installed older Drivers Windows 10 registers something horribly wrong. It wants to do a system repair. Okay, good, fine with me. But then when it gets to the page for me to select a keyboard layout, I have no mouse and my keyboard doesn't work either.
Anytime I press a button on them their backlights turn on, but then turn back off when I don't do anything with them.
I can't afford to get a new OS, I have no DVD Drive so I definitely can't do anything that requires a disk. What do I do?
Keeping Onscreen Keyboard Up While Using Physical Keyboard
Feb 4, 2016My question, as stated in the title is how to keep the onscreen keyboard from disappearing every time i start to type eon the physical one. You may wonder why I am doing that but, but it is not for English, I am currently enrolled in an Arabic course at my Uni and i am trying to create online flashcards, since i always end up studying from the comp anyways, plus they're just other ways for me to study.
The problem comes from not having a nice layover like keyboard like they do for macs and having to buy stickers, this is a passed around laptop, I cant do that. I have the Arabic onscreen keyboard but that is mighty slow, having to click and point. Is there any fix to this or is there an Arabic third party onscreen that will do the same thing I'm asking.
Can't Move The Recycle Bin
Sep 11, 2015I've upgrade to windows10 on my asus transformer T100 CHI. Everything works fine. As I upload a picture of my desktop, you can see that the recycle bin is in the upper left corner and I can't move it to another place. I don't know what cause that, and when I'm trying to drug the icon to another place, I'm getting and option to create a shortcut for the recycle bin but not move it to another place. I've checked and the icons are not align to grid.

Why Can't Move Public Folders
Aug 1, 2015When I was running Windows 8.1 I had moved my Public folders from C drive to D Drive (My C drive is an SSD and want to keep it for OS not Data) - After upgrading to Windows 10, Public folders have reverted back to C drive. I can see an option to move them if I right click the folder in File Manager, but event though the path text box is enabled (i.e. I can select the text) I cannot edit it. Feb 3, 2016Why do desktop icons move around? I know my Surface 2 with Windows RT had the same problem with things shifting around for no good reason.
Anyway, I just had to restart my Surface Pro 4 because the pen decided to stop working -- again -- and re-pairing it didn't correct the problem. So it reboots and when the login screen pops up it's randomly rotated 90 degrees. Why; the thing NEVER moved from landscape position on my desk.
I awkwardly sign in (WITHOUT moving or rotating the computer at all) and once I'm deposited on the desktop again the couple dozen icons I keep there are all jumbled around. Now keep in mind, it's not like my desktop is totally packed with junk, I keep ongoing projects and things like that there for easy access. Icons often get jumbled around when I use the SP4 in tablet mode, which is annoying beyond belief.
Can't Pin Or Unpin - Icons Don't Move
Aug 10, 2015I've just upgraded to windows 10 from windows 8.1 and I'm experiencing a glitch: when I try an pin or unpin things (e.g. from the start menu or quick access menu in explorer) the icons don't move.
However in the context menu the text that said "Unpin from start" or "Unpin from quick access" changes to "Pin to start" or "Pin to quick access respectively".
I've tried doing a sfc /scannow in an elevated command prompt but it showed no errors and has made no difference.
The same thing happens when I try to uninstall apps, they don't move.
Is It Possible To Move Users / App Folder
Aug 31, 2015I have 2 partitions in my PC. One is an SSD one is an HDD.It seems that Windows 10 put my users folder by default onto the SSD. I'd much rather it be on the HDD. Is it possible to move? My SSD isn't very large.Also, my user folder has a ridiculous name on it. It was cool when I was in high school when I first made my MSN account but it is a blight on my system. Can I change the name?

Sep 4, 2015I have two benq 27" ips panels connected using displayport 1.2. Sleep is disabled for the computer however the monitors turn off after being idle for 30 minutes. When I wake the monitors from sleep all of the icons have move to different locations on the primary monitor. If any icons are on the secondary monitor they are moved to the primary monitor. This is extremely annoying. If any applications are open the windows get resized and moved around as well.
