Desktop Sleeping Despite Turning Off All Options For Sleep Mode

I recently upgraded to Windows 10 on my desktop. Mostly it's just fine. However, I like my screen to stay on when I'm in the office area; cycling through my desktop pictures. Windows 10 is putting my monitor into sleep mode (I assume it's sleep mode because the monitor goes black and is still on and just a mouse wiggle brings it to awake) after 10 minutes (I believe that's how long) and I can't find any options to disable this feature. It's not in the standard setting options for screen saver/sleep. It's not on the monitor itself. I saw posts of many people who are unable to get Windows 10 to go to sleep and my problem is the opposite...how can this be? How to adjust the sleep/no sleep feature in Windows 10 for a desk top?

So I was trying to restart my Windows 10 desktop computer a little while ago, and accidentally hit Sleep Mode instead. My monitor is dormant, and there are no lights on the front of the computer. I moved the mouse around. Nothing. Pressed a mouse button, still nothing. Hit various keyboard keys, still nothing. Alt-F4 a few times followed by an Enter. Nope. Ctrl-Alt-Del a couple of times. Nada. Hit the power button. Zip. Held down the power button for four seconds, PC shuts off! Pressed power button again, the computer started to power up, but no graphics, no POST beep. Hit restart button, heard fans power back up, but that's all. Shut it off on the power supply, waited 30 seconds, switched back on. Nothing, no fans. Apparently it is off. Pressed the power button, I hear the fans spin up, then it sounds like it shuts down, then they spin back up. Hold power button down for four seconds to shut it off, then unplug power cord from back of PC for 30 seconds. Plug it back in, press power button, and fans spin up, then it sounds like PC goes into sleep mode for a second or two, then fans power back up. Still no lights on front of computer.
I have been a PC tech in the past, so I know my way around a computer. I've tried everything I can think of, save trying to reinstall Windows 7, dancing over the danged thing while singing Bibbidy Bobbidy Boo, or tossing it out the window. This is an older PC, built by me in late 2008. I need a new one badly, but can't afford it right now. I MUST get this one back online!

Why does my PC keep turning on after going to sleep? it will sleep for like 30 Seconds and then turn back on... ive tried turning off the wake feature and stuff.

I use a Lenovo Miix tablet as a "kiosk". The tablet hangs on a wall, and never goes to sleep - but it turns off the screen after 1 minute inactivity. Touching the screen should light it up immediately.
All this worked wonderfully with Windows 8.1. After the move to Win10, touching the black screen does not light it up. It seems that Win10 puts the tablet to sleep, although the power options are clearly set to "Sleep: NEVER".

When my son tries to watch YouTube movies, it says "The Video is unavailable with Restricted Mode enabled. To view this video, you will need to disable Restricted Mode."
The only way I have found to disable restricted mode is to turn off safe search. I'd rather leave that on.
Any other way to disable restricted mode?

Just upgraded to Windows 10 and found out that my computer which was setup with a "password after sleep" does not require any longer any password after sleep without me changing anything on the setup. How is this possible? Did I miss something in the upgrading process?
Moreover, when I try to check and validate the windows 10 setup regarding the use of passwords it seems everything is correct on the screen but not changeable. Options are like "frozen".

Every time I try to boot into safe mode or advanced options I get the same BSOD ERROR: CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED.. Is there any other way for me to accomplish this?

After Windows 10 install, there is no "sleep" option on the "shut down" button or in the "power options". Any way that will enable my sleep options?

I have a Barebone PC (Gigabyte GB-BXI3H-5010) which was running Windows 8.1, and now it has been upgraded to Windows 10. I use this PC to run a home server with Plex media server and Plex Home Theater - so I've got it connected to the TV, and the PC is always on. So when I turn on the TV, I have to press any button on the keyboard or move the mouse for the graphics card to kick in, which is fine. But when it does, it goes to a blank desktop. There's nothing there. I can see the open apps listed in the start tray, but none of them open. I'm quite confused to be honest. It's connected via HDMI to an LG TV.

I have been unable to find anything. It's quite simple, the Remote Desktop options have both become greyed out. The 'allow remote requests' is still available. I have seen posts saying to check group policy, but I have done that and I have no group policy settings set.

I go to personalization and see the choice of themes but cant see the small pane at the bottom of the screen which gives options for delay between images fit etc etc..

I have a HP Envy that is only 11 months old. I installed Windows 10 not too long ago and now I am experiencing issues with the sleep mode function. I have tried many other suggestions in power troubleshooter and other "fixes", but nothing is working.
Here's the issue. When my laptop enters sleep mode, I cannot wake it up. The keyboard is unresponsive with the exception of the backlight key. No matter what I do, I cannot wake it and this includes Ctrl + Alt + Delete. The power button remains lit, but the screen remains black and will not wakeup. The only way to fix this is to hard reboot the laptop by holding the power button down until it shuts off and then reboot it.

so im placing the computer in sleep mode sometimes it goes to sleep and then wakes up after 1 min or it just turns of the screens. i found it in the event viewer i think i turned of almost everything in device manager so that the devices can't wake the computer.

Running a Dell XPS 15, (L502X). Upgraded from 7 to 10 Pro yesterday. Played around a bit with the new OS and then went off to other things. Laptop went into sleep mode after 15 minutes as it always has. But this time I couldn't wake it up. Required me to power off the unit, then power it back on. Same thing happens now each time the machine goes to sleep mode.

Since I upgraded to windows 10 from windows 7 my pc every night wakes its self from sleep mode. I did the command prompt and it said a wake timer was waking my pc, I have been unable to find a wake timer. How to fix this?

In Power and Sleep I have set sleep mode to be entered after a certain time. It does not enter sleep mode as set. If I ask it to enter sleep mode on the power down option it will activate sleep but when I return to the computer later it has already turned itself on.

My pc with windows 10 pro version 1511 goes not in sleep mode.
When i press the sleep button on the keyboard it worked.
Set i the pc so that i must go to sleep mode after 1 min. The screen will be black but he pc does not go to sleep . None.
