View 1 RepliesTitle says it all. I like to boot up and log in with no password but I want to use my Microsoft account when I am fooling with store apps.
View 3 RepliesIs there any way, so that I can stop automatic download of Windows apps from the Store. Since "New apps will save to" button is greyed out and I don't want space to filled with apps or can it be turned to manual check.
View 3 RepliesWindows 10 Store gives error 0x803F8003 when trying to download/update apps
Note: the error appears right after it shows acquiring license.
Every time i open my store on Windows 10 i can search for things but once i click on the on the app i want the store page totally goes away. what should i do? i am trying to download a media player on my pc so i can watch movies on it.
View 1 RepliesIt's been stuck like this for a couple of days.
It was working fine before that.
I think it stopped working after the cumulative update.
EDIT: The solution is:
1. Open the start menu.
2. Type msconfig.
3. Open "System configuration"
4. Select "Normal boot."
5. Restart computer.
i'm having an issue with downloading apps from win 10 store. That is bassicaly what i get every single time. They did provide me with steps to follow, first two didn't find/fix any issues, third one i couldn't execute due to an error which i don't understand and therefore cannot fix on my own.
View 1 RepliesI cannot download sol collection from the store, also the sore will not open from the start menu.
View 7 RepliesI have just upgraded to Windows 10, and I was trying to install Netflix and Skype and both of them weren't downloading. Then I clicked on the download icon in the top right and it showed a lot of downloads pending and a few were "Downloading" it said how big the install was and the progress. 0.0MB even after waiting it didn't go up a bit.
The situation:
I have an Ethernet connection directly to my router. I use windows 10 64 Bit version Home. I live in the Netherlands but in order to use Cortana changed Region to United states.
I have tried changing it back to Netherlands seeing if that would change anything but it didn't.
I have left the store running for a few hours now. Still nothing but I did get a message with a few apps "Give us a few minutes"
And when I click see details it shows an error code 0x8024001e
I just upgraded to Windows 10 from Windows 7 and I decided to add an app. I clicked on the store app and then picked the app I wanted and then clicked on Free. A menu came up that said choose account so I clicked on Microsoft Account and a screen popped up for about one second and then was gone.
I then went up to the upper right hand of the screen and clicked on the icon to the left of the search window and clicked on Sign In, then I clicked on Microsoft Account and the same thing happened again, a screen popped up and then in a second it was gone. What is causing this?
Below is the screen I see for a few seconds before it goes away. Also, when I go into Setting/Account and click on "Sign in with a Microsoft account instead" the same thing happens.
Getting an error in the Store when trying to download apps?
I keep getting error 0xC0EA000A when trying to install any app. It goes 'acquiring licence' then says 'try that again' every time.
I tried wsreset from an elevated Command Prompt with no joy. Is there anything I should try with PowerShell perhaps?
how solve this issue apps store is there but when i started to click on the apps i want the store vanish leaving white screen....
View 1 RepliesI still have the icon for MS Store in my taskbar, but it no longer works. Clicking on it does nothing. When I click the START button, the MS Store App is grayed out.
View 4 RepliesI just updated my windows 10 and all of my windows store, windows onenote, cannot be open.
View 2 RepliesWhy apps data is double when download a game from windows 10 store?
View 1 RepliesEvery time I open a game that I run in borderless windowed or windowed mode, I get this stupid "Game Bar" garbage.
I did a little research, and it seems you can stop it from auto-opening in windowed games by opening the Xbox "app" and disabling it from there. However, whenever I open the Xbox "app", I'm asked to log in with a Microsoft Account. I do not want to do this because I don't have a MS Account, nor do I want one. And it seems that even if you log in with a Microsoft Account, you're forced to create an Xbox Gamertag before you can access the settings.
How do I stop this garbage "Game Bar" without a Xbox/Microsoft Account?
I need finding the folder for the games I downloaded from the Microsoft Store in Windows 10. It gets annoying finding games through the search tool and having them pinned to my taskbar would also be inconvenient. I would rather they were in a folder.
View 1 RepliesI cant download any apps from the windows 10 store. It gives me a try that again error code. I noticed that i am using version 2015.7.1.1 of app store and my mums pc is on a newer one.
View 1 RepliesMy new ASUS laptop came with Windows 10, so this is not an upgrade install, but an OEM purchase, and therefore not a pre-release build. My problem is this: I accidentally uninstalled the Mail/Calendar app that comes with Win10, thinking that they were two separate apps. In uninstalling Mail (which I have no use for), the uninstall also took away Calendar (done through a Powershell command).
I understand I can get these back through the App Store, but only if I have a Microsoft Account. I do not want, and do not have, a Microsoft Account. Is there ANY way I can get the Calendar app back on my machine? I do not want to convert my local account to a Microsoft Account.
I'm having an issue where I'm unable to download/update any apps from the windows 10 store (on the Minix Z64 mini PC). I have tried everything which has been suggested in various other forums (including Microsoft's). The error code displayed is 0x803f7000
I have tried the following with no success:
- Checking date/time/region (all correct)
- Reset the windows store with WSRESET.EXE (multiple times)
- Ran the windows 10 store troubleshooter app
- Synced the internet time server
I'm trying to setup Cortana and have been doing for some time now.
I've fixed the issues regarding "Not Available in your Country / Region" by setting all my settings to UK and made sure they're all the same.
NOW MY ISSUE is that when I go through the setup of Cortana, it says "Finally I need you to sign in to a Microsoft account", the Window pops up very briefly and the disappears, therefor I CANNOT ADD a Microsoft account.
I have also tried going to Settings -> Accounts -> Other accounts I use
I have gone to "Add extra accounts" and I can successfully add my Microsoft account there, upon logging in I can setup Cortana perfectly fine. However I need it to work with my Domain (Work) account and not signing in with a Microsoft Account (hope that makes sense). Everyone else in my team has managed to link their Domain account with a Microsoft account using the Cortana setup, however I can't as the box just disappears!!!
I was having issues in my original Windows Account where I was unable to use the search bar, windows button, or store, so I got to create a new account on my computer. I did, and the search bar and windows button now work. I copied my files from my old account to my new one, but I do not have the Windows 10 Store. When I try to download something, it says I need a new app: ms_windows_store.
Under This PC > OS (C:) > Users, I was able to see that under my new account, there are 6,000 less files even though I copied and pasted them all.
So my question is twofold, how do I get Windows 10 Store back, and when can I delete the files from my old account (I just doubled everything).
I upgraded from Windows 7 to 10 in summer. Now the major one is: Windows 10 works fine in administrator account, but in the other user account I primarily use, most of the apps don't work (including store --Cortana and Edge are about the only ones that do. Clicking on the others does nothing, and the app store has disappeared from the task bar).
View 1 RepliesI would like to use some of the features that require you to log in with a Microsoft account rather than my own local administrator account. But when I did that, it totally changed my settings for my local account including desktop, etc. So I deleted the Microsoft account. how to keep my local account settings when signing in with a Microsoft account.
View 9 RepliesNow that there are no parental controls on local user accounts, I set up a Microsoft account for each of my children so that I can limit screen time and accessibility to websites. I am now trying to merge their old local accounts to the new Microsoft accounts. I can log in to their local accounts and I can log in to their new Microsoft accounts, however, I cannot sign in to the Microsoft account from their local account (I'm only assuming this is how to do it). I go to settings, accounts, Sign in with Microsoft Account instead, enter email and password, enter old password, click Next and get the message "Oops, something went wrong Whatever happened, it was probably our fault. Please try again."
My goal is to save everything they have on their local accounts (Minecraft files especially) and get it over to the Microsoft account so that I take advantage of the parental controls. So, deleting profiles is not an option, but if there is a way to get everything moved over, then I can delete the local account, but how to move everything over.
So yesterday I upgraded my laptop to Windows 10 from windows 7. I had to update manually with a usb as for some reason Get Windows 10 app wasn't appearing.however for some reason Microsoft Edge refuses to download anything, it just stays there at 0.00bytes forever.I have fully updated my Windows and there are no new updates available.
