View 5 RepliesBefore installing Windows 10, when I plugged in my camera to my PC, I got a dialog box from which I downloaded my pics. Now, nothing appears on the task bar, nor do I get a dialog box. Am at loss what to do next.
View 3 RepliesHow do I put my pictures from Sony camera to Windows 10? It was so easy with Windows 8 as the camera sign came up on my File Explorer and I just copied them to My Pictures! So my pictures are now stuck on my camera!!!!!
View 8 RepliesSince upgrading to Windows 10 I have been unable to download photos from my mobile (not a smartphone just a Nokia with keypad) and my Sony camera. I always use one of the USB slots on my PC or a dongle on my desk which is attached to the PC and I keep getting a message saying it doesn't recognise the source. I am completely at a loss as to what to do next.
View 4 RepliesThe camera on my Toshiba S50-B laptop worked fine when on the original Windows 8.1 but doesn't work now that I have upgraded to Windows 10. It says "Something went wrong - make sure your camera is connected and not being used by another application". I have tried everything I know of and find no reason. Is there another driver required or ...? I cannot even find the camera.
View 2 RepliesWhen I select "Camera" I get a white box, with one word printed in the upper left hand corner,"Camera". This appears for two seconds and then I am back to my desktop picture.
View 5 RepliesI updated to the latest drivers for Intel AVStream Camera on my tablet / laptop. After the update, only the front camera works now.
View 1 RepliesI upgraded form windows 8 pro to windows 10 now I can't bluetooth pics from my phone to my PC. Everything was fine until I upgraded.
View 1 RepliesWindows 10 won't let me rename files, pics etc in the normal way. It allows me to try, then reverts to the previous name. It is not a problem of permissions, I have checked that.
It will allow me to rename on "Properties", but that is one file at a time. How am I to rename a group of pictures? This really seems like a glitch.
I have changed several pictures several times on the Lock Screen, and now every once in awhile a picture pops up on it which I don't want. Is there any way to delete the few pictures on there so thee is only one?
View 1 RepliesI used to be able to choose whatever pictures that were in my computer to show in a slideshow when not using my PC. I would go to personalization and all my pics would have a little checkbox to choose if I wished. I am unable to do that now and so my slideshow is doomed to the same pics forever. How can I control what to put on my screen while my PC is not in use.
View 1 RepliesI downloaded pictures form my digital camera, or at least I was trying to do. Somehow I got form installing my camera driver, recognizing my camera to importing the pictures form my windows 7 migration to Windows 10 and all of my camera pictures. They went to "albums" I lost them for a little while but found them again through notifications in the action center. I closed the display and now I can't find them.
I want to accomplish two things. Find out where my pictures went, then get my pictures moved out of albums, and stored back on the computer where they belong!
When inserting camera disk to computer, Windows 10 will not open. Is there a special driver or update I need to make this work? It worked just fine on Windows 7.
View 8 RepliesI installed Windows 10 today on my Toshiba laptop Satellite P755, I now cannot get my camera to work.
View 1 RepliesIt doesn't matter whether I insert the chip or use the cables "just absolutely nothing happens and ther is now explanation given.

View 1 RepliesMy brother upgraded to win 10 then had great problems with drivers which I am trying to sort out for him but at the moment he has rolled back to win 7. The only problem he has now is that he can't download pictures from his camera either by connecting via usb cable or putting the sd card in a slot on his laptop. We can view them but not copy, paste or download them to the computer. we have re-installed the programme that came with the camera which always worked fine with Win 7 before. All we are getting every time we try to transfer the images no matter what method we use is a pop up saying you do not have permission to do this action. he is logged in as an administrator. I have tried logging in as a user, logging as a different adminstrator but am now running out of options ....
View 10 RepliesI am trying very hard to learn '10'. So far, I really miss windows 7, but I will keep trying.. for awhile. Ok, so I loaded just one picture from my camera this morning, but when I go to my pictures folder it's not there.. How to get to it?
View 1 RepliesWhen I installed Windows 10 upgrade I was pretty happy about how it ran. However, when I had finished a day of photography I went to download the pictures onto my computer, but Win 10 couldn't recognise Jpeg's or an other graphic extension such as raw.
When I connected my camera to the computer Win 10 did recognize the camera, so it's not a hardware issue.
Since installing windows 10 I haven't been able to retrieve the photos.
View 2 RepliesI have windows 10 and a digital camera. I want to move pics from camera to computer memory
View 1 RepliesSo, I just finished installing the fall update on my desktop using the media creation tool. I am using a playstation 3 camera for skype and it does not show up when using the "skype video" app. It works in the main skype program with relatively basic controls for the camera, but there are no options in the new app that came with the fall update. I am using the CL-Eye-Driver-5.3.0.0341 for the camera.
I would much rather use the new app as it appears to be a lot lighter of a program than the desktop version of skype is.
It DOES recognize my camera as an external drive, and any thumb drive I plug in...however, it says there are NO FILES on those drives. I import pictures every day, and can no longer do this. Is my only option uninstalling Windows 10 and going back to 8.1?
View 1 RepliesWhy the folder where the photos are is what opens up when I plug in a usb camera and not the photo app. I have autoplay enabled and photo as my default photo viewer.
View 2 RepliesOn my ASUS G74SX-3DE Notebook, Windows Camera no longer works after the app update(s) recently.
It would start up with:
Who makes the camera for the device and ASUS doesn't provide Windows 10 drivers except the camera works fine with other apps.
Windows installs a driver with the device listed as:
USB2.0 UVC 1M WebCam
in device manager with driver version 10.0.10240.16384 and the date
USBVID_13D3&PID_5134&MI_00
