View 9 RepliesHow do I put my pictures from Sony camera to Windows 10? It was so easy with Windows 8 as the camera sign came up on my File Explorer and I just copied them to My Pictures! So my pictures are now stuck on my camera!!!!!
View 8 RepliesA friend sent me an invitation to view pictures on iCloud. I cannot view the pictures without first downloading and installing iCloud on my Surface Pro 4 and also create an Apple ID. I have created the ID and while I can download and install iCloud for Windows10, I am unable to open iCloud. The error message is that iCloud can only be used on Apple devices. How to download iCloud with Windows 10 in a way that iCloud works?
View 1 RepliesI have windows 8.1 and I DON'T want windows 10. It is already downloading. I can see green downloading bar in windows update. I had w10 but it was so buggy that I don't want it again. How do I stop is downloading?

I have windows 10 and a digital camera. I want to move pics from camera to computer memory

View 1 RepliesAfter installing windows 10 I cannot download any pictures from the Samsung Galaxy phone to the computer. It had worked fine when I had Windows 8.1 but know it wont even recognize that I have the phone attached?
View 9 RepliesI did a clean install on my PC with Windows 10 and now am going to download drivers from my mobo site. It is an asus maximus vi hero and there are only a couple of drivers on the site for windows 10. what should I do about all the other missing drivers?
View 1 RepliesNot sure what the deal is, but Win10 keeps automatically downloading NVIDIA graphics drivers and software, even though I don't have any NVIDIA hardware. The proper Microsoft graphics drivers are installed.
I did google this and tried to "hide" these updates via some Powershell commands, but everytime I delete the NVIDIA drivers, windows just redownloads them.
With W8.1, when I plugged my phone (Samsung Galaxy S5) into my PC via USB, a box came up with an option to find pictures and video on the phone.
Now with W10 that option does not come up, nothing comes up but it the phone shows in explorer as a hard drive.
So, first up, was getting crashes with my windows 10 after installing nvidia driver 359.00, mostly crashes that recovered automatically, then started getting Blue Screens. Tried 359.06 and had the same problems. Rolled back to 358.91 which originally had been stable but after the rollback became crashy, but less than the other 2 drivers.
Had a HARD crash while playing Dragon Quest Heroes, rebooted from that and could not boot into windows whatsoever. Had to pull the card, use the motherboard video, removed the nvidia drivers entirely. I can boot into windows as long as there are no nvidia drivers while using my GTX 670. While attempting to reinstall any nvidia drivers with maybe 5% of the green bar on the installer showing it goes black screen, sits for a bit, then reboots. BIOS looks fine, windows splash comes up, not the password screen, black screen there. Tried what I could find to put the password in and get past he black screen but nothing happening.
Is there a problem with my card or my windows install? I'd rather not buy a new card but its always a pain reinstalling windows if I don't actually have to. how to export all my windows settings if I do need to reinstall.?
Computer: Dell Optiplex 3020 Original O/S: Windows 7 Pro 64 bit.
Did the free upgrade to Windows 10 couple of days ago, didn't work so restore to Windows 7 and the problem now is none of my usb ports work meaning that I can't use any keyboard or mouse.
Only available ports in computer are USB Ethernet Headphone and microphone ports.
So I just installed Windows10 - all works well.. installed Steam and Chrome.
I go to install new AMD drivers as well as my Logitech drivers for my G400s mouse and my computer freezes.. cant move cursor, can't ctrl-alt-del - I've tried a million times.
My PC is not OC'd.
From time to time I do not get sound from my computer or even through an ear phone/connected external speakers.
But sound can be heard from a connected TV through HDMI, if from playback devices I chose the TV as default.
On re-starting the computer the problem gets solved- but re occurs after a few days.
I have a 2TB WD internal HDD that are currently fade out when I view with My Computer. I checked with disk management and the device is "No Media". Whats wrong with the HDD?I tried CMD and I want to check disk but it says that "Cannot Open Volume for direct access".Also, for this 2TB HDD, I didn't use Sata Connector to run, I always use a HDD dock (via USB) to access the HDD to backup my data into this HDD. I connect the USB to my PC and then the power adapter for the dock to function.I not sure is the drive failing or just cannot be detected. I just hope that the HDD is not damaged or unable to recover the data.

I am fixing my corrupted PlayStation 3, but my computer does not recognize it's HDD so I can not fix it.
How can I make my system know that I have an HDD plugged in?
Dell computer, W 10, is four days old and it suddenly stops communicating with the desktop. Logitech mouse still active and moves around on screen, but there are no letters written. Microsoft updates made no difference. switches are on and batteries new.
View 8 RepliesI have a Seagate 1 terabyte external hdd and windows 10 cant see it.. even when I go to C: drive
and display all drives its not showing. its installed drivers but still cant find it....
After installing Windows 10 (I had 7 before), my computer does not recognize the D: Drive at all.
I have a Lenovo H410 Desktop (Lenovo Windows 7PC).
My scans show that all my drivers are updated, but there does not seem to be a driver for the disc drive.
Is that what I am missing? If so, where I obtain it? I have tried the Lennovo website, but am having some trouble getting to the drivers.
Tried a few different things to try and resolve this issue and it is just bugging me. The system is running fine it just crashes when I try to restart my computer. I only notice I had a fault because when I shut my computer down the monitor goes blank but the computer light is still on and running and it doesnt fully shut down. The error also pops up when I try to update/remove drivers for my networking device
The error I get is: SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION(tcpip.sys)
I have updated all drivers via slimdrivers, only issue I am having seems to be with my Wireless Device
When downloading software from suppliers site it fails to install
I have tested the system memory, disk checker and all appears to be fine
I have attached some System Logs from Event Viewer as well as MSInfo & MEMORY.DMP
It won't let us access the local disk and says we don't have permission. I am the only user. It won't let us save anything on that disk either. I have gotten all of the documents, videos, and pictures backed up so that's not an issue. We are really just trying to reset the computer with a fresh start but it wont let us.
Resetting the computer- This wouldn't let me because it said it had an error. I did this by holding shift while restarting and then troubleshooting from there. I've tried the option of saving files and also whiping the whole computer, both ways won't work.Booting in safe mode- it works but nothing has come out of doing anything in that mode.
I'm having a myriad of issues after upgrading to Windows 10. I'll list them below along with what i've already done to resolve:
- Computer won't shut down.
Someone told me to disable something with the Gigabyte process on the Motherboard, didn't work. I click on shut down and the computer restarts instead.
- No sound except EXTREMELY low sound on headphones.
I've already tried installing the Windows 10 Realtek HD drivers but nothing seems to work. Eventually I somehow got the headphones to play sounds but is is incredibly low even fully maxed out. All devices show that they are "working" correctly. Also, when I test it, I can see the green bar moving as if sound is playing, but no sound in any speakers / headphones I hook to the computer comes out.
- Less important issue but the "search" bar in the bottom doesnt ever return any results, ever. It just sits there indefinitely.
Excuse me if this has been asked before, I have a weird issue in This Computer. When I double-click a hard drive or other device, it tries to launch some unknown deleted application and fails with an error message (see below). If I right-click on the drive, I see that "cmd" is default instead of Open and I can proceed if I select Open. This issue occurs only in This Computer. Clicking any other folder on the desktop or elsewhere opens as expected. Could it be a malware? I'm now scanning with Malwarebytes Antimalware just in case.
