MS wireless keyboard 800 and mouse 1000 combo. Latest MS drivers and clean install of windows 10 home. The mouse pointer frequently jerks and jumps and then after a few seconds releases and runs smoothly again. New batteries make no difference. I have moved the little receiver into various USB slots, type 2and3, to no effect.
View 3 RepliesEvery 5/10 minutes, my mouse pointer keeps sticking, for around 1 second, then jumps to where it should have been. It's almost as if the pointer isn't actually sticking but the screen isn't updating. This started happening after upgrading to Windows 10.
View 4 RepliesOften when playing games, either in browser or not, the mouse pointer speed will change by itself. I can go into the mouse setup menu and change it back, but sometimes it then changes again. This happened in Win7 also. The touchpad also sometimes just stops working. This didn't happen in Win7. I gotta say Win10 makes some weird changes to things

The (Hardware tab) in the Mouse link shows two different types of mouse.
One is a Pluralinput Mouse 0.8.2.0 and the other is a Synaptics P/S2 Port Touch Pad.
The Pluralinput information reads:

I've had a Logitech M510 mouse for about a month and time is running out on a return. My problem is jerky and intermittent movement problems. These may have a workaround my using a USB extension cable since moving the receiver away from USB 3.0 ports may eliminate the interference.
I'm thinking of returning the mouse tomorrow before the return term expires. Are there mice that do not exhibit the 3.0 interference or is this simply a technology impediment to using wireless mouce?
I have a MadCatz Rat9 wireless mouse and in windows 10 when I go to sleep mode the wireless mouse does not charge. I had windows 7 ul before and the mouse charged fine in sleep mode. In device manager I checked the mouse drivers and in power management allow the computer to turn off this device to save power is greyed out. Allow this device to wake the computer has a checkmark. why windows 7 charged ok in sleep mode and windows 10 will not.

View 3 RepliesAfter upgrading to Windows 10 on my sony laptop my mouse will not come back on the screen after I close my laptop and the computer goes to sleep. I have to restart my laptop after every time my computer goes to sleep to get my mouse back on the screen. Just checked DM and the touchpad drivers are current.
View 4 RepliesRecently my mouse pointer has been disappearing when the system wakes in Windows 10 Pro. I can still see it highlighting when moving the mouse and the dialog open with a right click. It only comes back if I open the Task Manager or a separate window. Strangely if I manually put the computer to sleep through the power menu this issue does not seem to appear, it only shows when the computer sleeps after the allotted time.
Not sure if this is an issue with Nvidia Drivers or a Windows Update.
Since loading windows 10 then mouse pointer working circle blinks with the can light blinks. Everything seems to work fine it just really bugs me. I went to setting and mouse then to pointer and it it set on the pointer only or top/first on list. this is a 1 month old Asus X550Z that came loaded with 8.1
View 1 RepliesWhen turning on Windows 10 my pointer will not show up for the password phase of startup. If I do get to the desktop, the pointer is either gone or it is frozen. I shut the computer down and after several startups, it will come back on maybe for a few minutes. I have checked the device manager for the mouse. Looked for updated versions. Ran a troubleshooting for it. Nothing says it is wrong. This has only happened with the upgrade to Windows 10. It used to be every so often, now it is daily.

View 2 RepliesThe loading symbol keeps flashing which is effecting what I can do on my computer. For example on Microsoft edge I will be typing and then it will suddenly select the text, so when I do my next letter it deletes everything I have done. It also effects things like drop down menu's or when I left click by going of it so I don't have time to select the option I want.
This does not seem to happen all the time but it currently is and has been since I turned my pc on.
It has only happened since I have downloaded windows 10. I do not have windows 8.1 on my computer as I deleted it so I cant really go back to download it again.
Afther installing the intel chipset driver the pc crashed showed a blue screen with large tex saying that the pc run into a problem and is collecting data. Then it turned off and started booting went past the windows booting logo and than showed a black screen with a mouse pointer that constantly changes between loading and busy... you can move the mouse pointer on the black screen and nothing else... I can't boot the laptop and I don't know what to do

I upgraded from Windows 7 to 10 - on my Asus sonicmaster laptop and now the flashing blue circle constantly shows up in and on and off state. Like it is trying to load or check something. How to get rid of this?
Switched on a friend's PC today with Windows 10 fully updated (upgraded from Windows 7 around a month ago), and it loads to where the login screen should be ie after the Windows 10 logo etc, but then the screen is blank. There's no mouse pointer, no login screen, and no monitor error (ie there's a source at least).
I've tried booting in safe mode but I get the exact same problem. Also I've tried just typing in the password to see if the login screen has been moved to a non existent monitor, but that doesn't work either.
So I recently gave my laptop an update today. It was fine before but...now it boots to a black screen with just a mouse pointer visible. What should i do?

While using both touchpad and mouse, pointer keeps freezing and keeps making "beep" sounds...I reinstalled drivers over and over, and still nothing...Does any1 have an ideea of what's going on with the freaking windows?
View 4 RepliesFor the past week or so I have been having strange stutters and hangs. When it started my RAM was maxing out constantly in task manager. Opening Skype or hitting the windows key would basically completely freeze my computer (this was when I had windows 8.1 a week or so ago). I tried a bunch of things as well as upgrading to windows 10 since I figured it could have been a faulty update or something. After messing around with virtual memory for a while that seemed to fix the ram issue.
Now my disk usage is maxing out constantly at very small usage with the same symptoms of Skype freezing my computer and and windows menus being slow. The things increasing disk usage are all around .1MB/s. I have ran Disk Sentinel as well as defragmenting my hard drive, to no avail. Disk Sentinel says that the drive is 52% (Healthy) so I don't think it is a faulty drive, but it could be. I don't know why these issues are occurring as my computer is pretty beefy, albeit with a rather slow hard drive speed.

This began when I was having issues with my headset and I decided to just uninstall all of my sound drivers, I manually installed my headset drivers and Windows installed the rest on it's own. I then found out it was just the usb port so I plugged my headset into a different one and all was good there...
The problem now is that the sound in my monitor(TV) will randomly just stop working and videos will start to stutter unless I switch to a different playback device, even when I go to do that the sound window takes a long time to open and can be unresponsive.
Uninstalling the driver and restarting my computer fixes all of these problems momentarily but they inevitably come back.
On installing Win !0 there was no wireless function, but win 10 initialised the card however when the laptop sleeps the card drops out and it has to be reset every time the card is Intel(R) Pro/Wireless 3945ABG. If the laptop is kept awake there is no problem
View 5 RepliesI got onto my computer this morning and noticed that it had rebooted. Figured out it updated the latest patch. However, from that point on, I haven't been able to get anything from my computer. Wireless won't work, can connect to any bluetooth device, and none of my USB thumb drives will show up. I have tried logging back out, as well as rebooting. Nothing seems to be working. Since I can't connect to anything, I can't update any drivers (writing this on my mac... )
I tried uninstalling the patch, and it won't. Just spins. Tried to do a system restore, but it won't open up the dialog to allow me to choose. Tried to do diagnostics on the wireless driver and it just hangs. I have to shut it down.
I recently bought an HP 2540 wireless printer that is Windows 8 and 10 compatible. I setup the computer, used disk for the Win8 and downloaded the Win10 driver and installed on the second laptop. Both Asus laptops printed and then quit.I have reinstalled printer, run every diagnostic I can find and still cannot get either to print.
View 2 RepliesI have a laptop with an intel AC 7265 wireless adapter built in. With the normal Windows 10 driver, AP mode works - which I need to run Connectify.
I upgraded to the latest Intel driver as I was having other issues (Wireless would just disconnect and give me a 1609 address) but the new driver apparently doesn't support AP mode (hosted network support = no).
How I can get AP mode supported again?
I have had to reinstall my wireless printers everyday for the last couple of weeks. I upgraded to Windows 10 in December of 2015. I'll get the message that no driver is installed and that they are not connected to the network. One is an HP Officejet 8600 all-in-one & the other is an HP Envy 100 D410. I have had these printer a fairly long time with no problems. Now I have to go to the HP site & reinstall the drivers every day & then run the installation process again. I use their IP addresses when installing them.
