Often when playing games, either in browser or not, the mouse pointer speed will change by itself. I can go into the mouse setup menu and change it back, but sometimes it then changes again. This happened in Win7 also. The touchpad also sometimes just stops working. This didn't happen in Win7. I gotta say Win10 makes some weird changes to things
View 1 RepliesEvery 5/10 minutes, my mouse pointer keeps sticking, for around 1 second, then jumps to where it should have been. It's almost as if the pointer isn't actually sticking but the screen isn't updating. This started happening after upgrading to Windows 10.
View 4 RepliesMS wireless keyboard 800 and mouse 1000 combo. Latest MS drivers and clean install of windows 10 home. The mouse pointer frequently jerks and jumps and then after a few seconds releases and runs smoothly again. New batteries make no difference. I have moved the little receiver into various USB slots, type 2and3, to no effect.

View 3 RepliesAfter upgrading to Windows 10 on my sony laptop my mouse will not come back on the screen after I close my laptop and the computer goes to sleep. I have to restart my laptop after every time my computer goes to sleep to get my mouse back on the screen. Just checked DM and the touchpad drivers are current.
View 4 RepliesRecently my mouse pointer has been disappearing when the system wakes in Windows 10 Pro. I can still see it highlighting when moving the mouse and the dialog open with a right click. It only comes back if I open the Task Manager or a separate window. Strangely if I manually put the computer to sleep through the power menu this issue does not seem to appear, it only shows when the computer sleeps after the allotted time.
Not sure if this is an issue with Nvidia Drivers or a Windows Update.
Since loading windows 10 then mouse pointer working circle blinks with the can light blinks. Everything seems to work fine it just really bugs me. I went to setting and mouse then to pointer and it it set on the pointer only or top/first on list. this is a 1 month old Asus X550Z that came loaded with 8.1
View 1 RepliesWhen turning on Windows 10 my pointer will not show up for the password phase of startup. If I do get to the desktop, the pointer is either gone or it is frozen. I shut the computer down and after several startups, it will come back on maybe for a few minutes. I have checked the device manager for the mouse. Looked for updated versions. Ran a troubleshooting for it. Nothing says it is wrong. This has only happened with the upgrade to Windows 10. It used to be every so often, now it is daily.

View 2 RepliesThe loading symbol keeps flashing which is effecting what I can do on my computer. For example on Microsoft edge I will be typing and then it will suddenly select the text, so when I do my next letter it deletes everything I have done. It also effects things like drop down menu's or when I left click by going of it so I don't have time to select the option I want.
This does not seem to happen all the time but it currently is and has been since I turned my pc on.
It has only happened since I have downloaded windows 10. I do not have windows 8.1 on my computer as I deleted it so I cant really go back to download it again.
Afther installing the intel chipset driver the pc crashed showed a blue screen with large tex saying that the pc run into a problem and is collecting data. Then it turned off and started booting went past the windows booting logo and than showed a black screen with a mouse pointer that constantly changes between loading and busy... you can move the mouse pointer on the black screen and nothing else... I can't boot the laptop and I don't know what to do

I upgraded from Windows 7 to 10 - on my Asus sonicmaster laptop and now the flashing blue circle constantly shows up in and on and off state. Like it is trying to load or check something. How to get rid of this?
Switched on a friend's PC today with Windows 10 fully updated (upgraded from Windows 7 around a month ago), and it loads to where the login screen should be ie after the Windows 10 logo etc, but then the screen is blank. There's no mouse pointer, no login screen, and no monitor error (ie there's a source at least).
I've tried booting in safe mode but I get the exact same problem. Also I've tried just typing in the password to see if the login screen has been moved to a non existent monitor, but that doesn't work either.
So I recently gave my laptop an update today. It was fine before but...now it boots to a black screen with just a mouse pointer visible. What should i do?

While using both touchpad and mouse, pointer keeps freezing and keeps making "beep" sounds...I reinstalled drivers over and over, and still nothing...Does any1 have an ideea of what's going on with the freaking windows?
View 4 RepliesI do not know why, but ever since (thats when I started downloading again) I have upgraded from windows 8.1 to windows 10, downloading is really difficult. when I was still using 8.1, I used Orbit downloader to download my files, but since I have upgraded to windows 10, all apps were lost, and for some reason I cant download Orbit again.
Now I have been switching from on Download manager to the other, from Eagle Get, IDM, Jdownloader. still my download speed SUCK, it is slow as a turtle. but when I am playing online games it is fine, my ping is good, when I am streaming videos it is also fast. but when it comes to downloading IT IS SLOW. why ? is it because of the download manager ? I remember updating my Battlefield 4 and the speed is good. but now, it so slow.
I tested the internal HDD with CrystalDiskMark and was able to get 109 MBPS both on sequential read and write tests. Then, when I tested my 1 TB WD My Passport USB 3.0 External HDD with CrystalDiskMark the sequential read and write speed did not exceed 40 MBPS the few times I tried. Got similar 30-40 MBPS speed when transferring movies from external HDD to internal HDD.So far, I have tried updating the external HDD and USB 3.0 Controller drivers. Tried with 'USB selective suspend setting' disabled (Under Power Plan Options). Also tried with write caching enabled. But havent been able to solve the issue.My laptop is running Win 10 Home 64-Bit. I am sure I used the USB 3.0 port. And, I used the USB 3.0 cable supplied with the external HDD. I don't have another USB 3.0 device so cannot figure out whether the issue is with my laptop of the external HDD.'
View 4 RepliesI received an update for windows 10, and after installing, my mouse didn't work. I tried several other mice, and none of them worked. I looked more into the problem and after a while of exploring Device manager, the drivers weren't installed, but when I followed the instructions to install the drivers, it said the drivers didn't exist, even though a couple hours before hand, the mouse had been working fine.
View 2 RepliesI started to upgrade all my drivers since I downloaded windows 10. Everything was going along fine until I hit the driver on my mouse. Gone the mouse disappeared. There was no way to get it back. So I finally hooked up another mouse and tried to go back and roll back the driver to the other version. The roll back box won't lite up and it has to be lite to be able to roll back.
View 8 RepliesI have a Acer Aspire E17 with a precision touchpad. The touchpad works, but I prefer the mouse. Sometimes when I am using the mouse I hear a strange sound then it stops working. It only lasts for about 10 seconds then the sound returns and the mouse works again.

The (Hardware tab) in the Mouse link shows two different types of mouse.
One is a Pluralinput Mouse 0.8.2.0 and the other is a Synaptics P/S2 Port Touch Pad.
The Pluralinput information reads:

I have just upgraded to windows 10 the other day. I am running an Acer Aspire Notebook R3-471T, Intel HD 4400 Series, i5-4210U @ 1.7GHz 2.40GHz, 6GB Ram. So after i upgraded to win 10, i downloaded auto detect driver update from acer and intel. I updated all my drivers and then i downloaded some games. Apparently every 4-5 secs mouse freezes for a fraction then goes back to normal. I can't play anything because every 5 seconds my mouse (therefore the gameplay) freezes. I didn't have this problem on win 8.1.
View 1 RepliesI've had a Logitech M510 mouse for about a month and time is running out on a return. My problem is jerky and intermittent movement problems. These may have a workaround my using a USB extension cable since moving the receiver away from USB 3.0 ports may eliminate the interference.
I'm thinking of returning the mouse tomorrow before the return term expires. Are there mice that do not exhibit the 3.0 interference or is this simply a technology impediment to using wireless mouce?
Okay so I had this problem in windows 8.1 but fixed it by turning off smart sense which still has the same function in windows 10 but it did not work. I am looking so find solutions online because this problem is really annoying when it comes to games.
View 9 RepliesI just upgraded to Windows 10 a few days ago on my desktop. After it booted for the first time, everything worked just like before on Windows 8.1.
After a bit, it prompted me to restart for updates. After it finished with the updates, I noticed that the mouse started a major stuttering problem when scrolling.
I noticed it first in Chrome, so I switched over to another program (Notepad++) and it did it over there as well.
I am assuming that it was caused by the update after upgrading to Windows 10.
