View 2 RepliesHave had new win10 desktop pc a couple months now and all of a sudden my photos aren't viewable and live tile isn't working on start menu..
and a window pops up with "element not found " as attached.
Seems to be just my user (live account) which seems more strange.
Cant think of anything that I have done recently to make this happen either.??

I installed Win 10 a few weeks ago and today is the first time that I've turned it on since then. I checked for Windows updates and it found some and appeared to start to download and install them. Then the window disappeared and I checked for updates again. "RuntimeBroker.exe Element not found". What does this mean in Microsoftese?
View 2 RepliesI have installed windows 10 on my Lenovo laptop which had Windows 7 but after installation of Windows 10 i can not able to open
Microsoft edge, Store, setting from starts menu.
It always comes with an error message "Element not found"
Sometimes suddenly the keyboard behaves as if the Windows key is pressed, so when pressing "P" the window to choose the monitor opens. After a minute or so this behavior automatically stops and the keys can be used like usual.
View 4 RepliesI recently upgraded to win10 and reformatted everything, since then all I have installed is this [URL] ..... (And of course chrome) ...
Now around a week after the install, this friday, what i thought was my keyboard holding down +, but even after unplugging it, it still kept going. After a restart it was gone, but only to come back after a couple of hours. Then saturday and today it has been delete thats being held randomly. I have ran Malwarebytes, Malwarebytes anti-rootkit, avast and avast anti-rootkit which all found nothing, I have also tried removing all my mouse and keyboard drivers, but it just keeps going. My keyboard is a Razer Black widow ultimate (2012) And my mouse is a Zowie FK1.
I have installed windows 10 from windows 7 and now I have problems with my laptop keyboard, it affects all keys. The keys have to be pressed very slowly to work. I rebooted yesterday and it was ok for a while then the problem returned. It has taken me 6 minutes to type this in.

View 2 RepliesWindows10 - upgraded from W7 a couple of months ago. I have just installed a new modem for my main desktop PC. I had trouble following the setup directions because I can find NO wi-fi settings on my computer. When I went to my Notebook computer, there was a wi-fi icon in the systray which enabled me to choose the necessary network. So for my desktop I just went ahead and set up a new broadband connection. Everything seems OK as it works ie I can connect to wi-fi on my mobile phone and the Notebook but I was not able to physically select available network for my desktop.
I tried to find Wi-fi Sense in my settings but nothing found. I came across the following:
The initial settings for Wi‑Fi Sense are determined by the options you chose when you first set up your PC with Windows 10 or your phone with Windows 10 Mobile. You can change your Wi‑Fi Sense settings any time by selecting Settings > Network & Internet > Wi‑Fi > Manage Wi‑Fi settings on your PC or Settings > Network & wireless > Wi‑Fi > Wi‑Fi Sense on your phone, and then changing one or both of these settings under Wi‑Fi Sense: ..
Trying to change boot sequence to read DVD drive first but can't get into bios. Every time I turn on PC I get the message "an operating system wasn't found try disconnecting other drives". I received this message with new SSD (replacement) but I know receive same message with old SSD?
View 1 RepliesSo for some reason, my main normal account which is a local administrative account, is missing many of the Windows Apps. I created a high-level Administrator account (the one that's tricky to turn on and sort of hidden) and I can see all my missing apps in that START menu. They should've been assigned to this account, which is the main account. How do I get this fixed.
View 7 RepliesAll the sudden after years of working Revo Uninstaller now won't start, it gives me the following error after double clicking the icon:
I have tried running Revo Uninstaller as Adminstrator, guest, and my local admin account but I always get the same error. The funny thing is a Google search surprisingly doesn't turn up many results.
When installing a software, I keep getting an error like the attached pictured
My PC is Win 10 64
The Program to run is in 32 bit
Java 32 is installed
Java was tested using Explorer browser
I got myself a new 120GB SSD for the jump to Windows 10. I install the OS without problems from a DVD disk, boot up and begin to install stuff as steam, spotify and GeForce experience.
I remove the installation disk from my DVD reader and reboot. After the BIOS screen I get a message that claims there are no bootable media.
With the installation disk in the DVD reader everything works fine, I get an option to boot the installation even though the DVD is nr 2 in boot order after my sole storage unit.
I have tried to use all those bootrec commands to restore, repair or create a new bootmgr and so on. No installations of Windows can be found either. Been doing this for 6 hours now. I have reinstalled windows 10, 8 and 7. All with the same problem.
I plugged in one of my older 60GB SSDs and successfully installed Windows 10 on it. No sign of any boot problems. Booted without the installation disc. Same SATA connection on the motherboard. No changes in boot order.
So my thoughts about this right now, is it possible my new SSD have a defect from the beginning? Something in the hardware/hardware controller?
And yes I have searched around and Everyone seems to get it working with bootrec commands. I don't...
I 'upgraded' to Windows 10 yesterday and initially found the control panel but can no longer find it. I very badly want to change my wallpaper and screen saver.
View 2 RepliesI have an empty folder on my computer that I wan't to delete but when I click it it says "Item Not Found" and it tell me I can't delete it.
View 1 RepliesI have installed the latest build 10158 and have the same problem that I have had in previous builds,i.e. that my external drive is not showing despite being listed in Device Manager as installed and working correctly, have tried disabling re-enabling,uninstalling etc.etc. with no effect.
View 3 RepliesI updated to windows 10 and I couldn't find any of my files. Eventually found them moved in a folder. Once I restarted my computer, all of the files were gone and I had more storage on my computer. These are files as in music, movies, and pictures. They are NO WHERE to be found.
View 2 RepliesI have run SFC /SCANNOW and a large number of files have been found to be corrupted in Windows 10, and cannot be repaired by SFC. The CBS log is too large to attach, but I have extracted a list of all corrupt files attached.
After looking at similar posts, I downloaded SFCFIX.exe by Sysnative and ran that in an elevated command prompt, but the message I got was that source file could not be found. I have also run SFC in safe mode and also run DISM, but neither solves my problem, and the corrupt files persist.
CBS Extract.txt 27.04KB
I went into the CBS log as stated by the cmd, and these were the only things I could find that were not fixed.
View 3 RepliesMy Acer Aspire One was upgraded to Windows 10. Eventually, I ran into some issues with the start menu not popping up, so I decided to run a clean reset of Windows 10. The reset failed, so I turned off the notebook. When I turned it back on, the message "An operating system wasn't found. Try disconnecting any drives that don't contain an operating system. Press Ctrl+Alt+Del to restart," popped up. My first option was to try to use either f2 or f12 to see if there was some way to get around the issue, but then I remembered that, recently, my notebook had stopped responding to those commands. I do have a USB Logitech K120 keyboard hooked up to it (since the original keyboard messed up,) but it had been working fine for those commands and such up until now.
Today, I downloaded Win 10 using the Media Creation Tool in an attempt to create a bootable USB drive. I plugged that in, yet it doesn't seem to recognize it at all. The same message pops up as before. My acer doesn't have a CD-ROM or anything of the sort, so the USB appears to be my only hope. Is there anything that I can do? I'm hoping there's a way I can force the notebook to recognize the USB, or at least boot into the f2 or f12 commands to see if I can use them in any way.
My newly installed Windows 10, on rebooting , displays this warning (as translated from Spanish):
" The ordinal 1 cannot be found in the library of dynamic links C:WINDOWS32SQLUNIRL.dll "
Then I click to accept that, and apparently the OS performs O.K.
What is the import of that failure in loading and how to solve it?
We have written several programs in VB.2010. They all have a setup and deploy project to create the MSI file. There is a launch condition for a specific file.
This same technique is used in many other programs we have. All work in Windows 7, 8, etc. but not in Windows 10.
The file is there where it supposed to be.
Some programs work using the same exact file in Windows 10 and some do not. All work on Windows 7, 8.
The file is QBFC13.dll and is in C:Program Files (x86)Common FilesIntuitQuickBooks Search Target is [CommonFilesFolder]IntuitQuickBooks
Is it normal that if I type net start tcpip6 on the cmd the result system error 2, not found?
Also, I do not have the file tcpip6.sys on /system32/drivers. Why is that?
