View 1 RepliesHave used Windows Store to install apps in past week but tonight getting FAIL with error code 0x8002000a
Can't find anything useful on Search Engines; just wondered if there is some sort of magic reset for this aspect of Windows.
Yesterday my Windows Store is working, but can't download or update any apps in Windows Store.
After I turned off the PC for a few of hours then I open up the Windows Store and I get the error..
Screenshot:
I already did Windows Update troubleshooter and its doesn't find any problem.
Can't install any apps.
Shows downloading, then installing and then fails at the end. Saying "Well, this is embarrassing (see details)."
Details show "We can't find the app. error code 0x80070002"
It literally happens with any app I try to download. None will install.
I cant download any apps from the windows 10 store. It gives me a try that again error code. I noticed that i am using version 2015.7.1.1 of app store and my mums pc is on a newer one.
View 1 RepliesI am on windows 10 build number 10130(Installed it through an ISO file). I am unable to install any app from either store or store beta. The exact error message is "Something happened and this app couldn't be installed. Please try again. Error code: 0x8007000b". I tried reinstalling the OS, Formatting the sd card and replacing the sd card but the problem persists.
The default location for app install is set to sd card and when I change it back to my pc the apps do install. What is error code 0x8007000b. And how do I get the apps to install on my sd card. Note: I don't want to install the apps to my device memory as I have only 10GB left.
After updated Windows 10 (PC) from build 10166 to build 10240. Then I can not download app in Windows Store. An error code is 0x803F7000 and '"try again latter".
View 1 RepliesI have recently encountered a problem with the updates on the Windows Store. The apps are not updating anymore and are stuck. I have tried to follow most of the methods provided online including the troubleshoot step but to no avail. The troubleshoot simply couldn't find any issues to solve. Windows Update on the other hand, is working fine. Here's a screenshot of the progress.
View 9 RepliesA friend of mine is trying to upgrade his PC using ISO but he keeps getting an error that keeps restoring his PC back to Win8.1. His words "it finishes the install, gets to the copying files stage., then after a while it starts restoring my windows 8.1 back." He sent me a screenshot of the error but for reasons I don't know, Tapa Talk isn't allowing me to send the image. The error code on the screenshot is 0x8007000E-0x2000C with the message "The installation failed in the SAFE_OS phase with an error during APPLY_IMAGE operation."
View 1 RepliesHad an update that will not install for the Windows & Clocks app, then got an error 0x80070003 .....
View 1 RepliesI cannot install anything from Windows Store. It will down load normally & then fail with error 80073DOA. Updates to Apps also fail to install with the same error. I have run wreset ( several times) but still no joy. Date & Time Zone are correct.
Windows Firewall must be enabled to allow the Store to Update & Install!
Found this by accident. I was running the Firewall that came with Norton Security. Why this is a requirement I don't know. Disabling the Norton Firewall was easy but there was no option to turn the windows Firewall back on as Norton had taken over so I went into Services & did it from there. All working fine now ))
Windows 10 store error code(0x80131509) when trying to open it
View 1 RepliesIn the last 2 months, I upgraded to Win10 Pro from Win7 Pro. It turned off during the first attempt of upgrading, so I turned it back on and it installed. However, once I set up my internet again, Windows Store, when opened, told me an error code (0x8000FFFF). I wrote in a bunch of Run and CMD commands, like wsreset.exe, net stop wuauserv, things like that. I also reset the cache and deleted all of the files in the SystemDistribution folder. Despite that, I still get the same error.

View 1 Repliestried updating skype but getting error code 1618.
tried updating AVG anti virus but update failed: update detect running installation. Complete that installation before starting update not installing or updating anything at the moment.
Have had this error for a couple days now. Tried regular checks to verify system components and online image and windows update service diagnostics, cleaned up SoftwareDistribution, turned off non-Microsoft auto starting services, - all to no avail.
Also, ran netfxsetupverifier, which gave me the only error - aspnet.mof missing, which I presume is OK.
I've been trying lately to update my Window 10 Laptop (previously Windows 7) to the latest build through WMCT (Windows Media Creation Tool), but I failed three times,
I downloaded the WMCT from Microsoft website. For the first two times I ran it, it failed through the updating windows phase (copying data, installing drivers and features, and a third one).
I tried deleting the content in Window/SoftwareDistribution/Download, and re-running, but also failed at the beginning of "Installing Drivers & Features". I am able to download everything and "preparing to install" normally, but it is just at that phase where I get a message saying "We are restoring the previous version of Windows".
Here is a snap of the error I just got after successfully "restoring to the previous version of Windows".
I can't update to Windows, I got to 97% and then it failed, got a pic showing 96%.
View 3 RepliesI upgraded to W10 a few weeks ago from W7. All went well.
Then 2 days ago i got the windows error code oxc000021a, and the computer wouldn't start. Couldn't get into safe mode, and repair didn't work either. Really annoying. I've had to reinstall windows 7. I can still see my windows 10 old install saved under windows.old.
I don't have any option yet to re-upgrade to W10, despite putting all the updates on W7 again. What can I do to get W10 again and recover my data from windows.old?
I've got 8 apps in the windows store in queue for the last three days. Every time I open store and click on check updates I get this error message as shown below..
