View 1 RepliesI get green and black screen on videos that I play on Edge, why?
View 1 RepliesAfter I had upgraded to Windows 10 , I am constantly getting a green or black screen when ever I try to play any video. I get the sound but cannot see video. It has happened on YouTube , amazon videos and any other video I try to view.
View 19 RepliesI have sound, but no video. Just a green screen with some jumbled up pixels along the top of screen.
View 1 RepliesIt started out as a temporary problem and has steadily gotten worse. It tries to load them then simply stalls and nothing.
View 2 RepliesI am running Windows 10 from an automatic upgrade from Windows 8.1. My machine is a Dell Inspiron 15 laptop on my home wi-fi network which is powered by Cox Gigabit service. Everything works well and fast, except that I get no audio from videos in Facebook, Email and those in browser sites, like CNN. I do get audio from ITunes and other previously saved music.
View 7 RepliesIts just randomly happens my take 1 min or 2 hours to happen from when I turn on my computer. Videos load but it just doesn't play even if you press play or skip to any part of a video and after 5-10 seconds when the video is supposed to play the plugin stops responding. Even if I switch browsers from Firefox to Microsoft edge or even chrome, the same thing happens. I also tried re installing adobe flash but still no luck. The only way I have found to fix this is to restart, usually the first time doesn't work only the second. But then it randomly happens again making me have to restart again and again and again super annoying and this problem has been occurring for about a week, even tho I have upgraded since to windows 10 since the release date on the 29th.
View 2 RepliesI upgrade to Windows 10 a good month or so ago. All seemed fine. I woke my desktop up today to find this green screen w/continuous circles. I have unplugged everything and powered down and restarted. (This is the only suggestion I could find to fix it) The green screen came back up immediately. I have tried to get to where I could restart in safe mode but I can't navigate anywhere. I only have this green screen.
View 2 RepliesIt is really hard to write this as the title says green with green text, anyhow, I upgraded win 7 and my primary account on win 10 is fine, but this 2nd user account, IE11 comes up with a green background, the search bar is green lettering, in fact this area here where I am typing the message is green with green text. What is going on?
I have tried changing the colors from default, I have tried updating the graphics card and nothing seems to work. One lead I thought I had was that this 2nd account was encrypted, but in the settings it doesn't seem to be.
I need to disable Flash Hardware Acceleration in edge. My videos are green screens. Where I can do this? The only option I seem to have is to switch Flash off in Edge?
View 2 RepliesAfter installing windows 10 all Internet based media is not working. BBC iplayer, Netflix both via app and browsers, YouTube takes notions, any live streaming is a pixilated green screen but again with just sound. As this is the main use of my Toshiba laptop the thing is darn useless now.
Reinstalled windows 10, updated and rolled back various drivers, Done the usual chance video to software acceleration instead of via GPU. Nothings worked and not seeing similar threads so am I alone and if so how do I go about getting a working laptop again as I no longer have option to go back to 8.1.
Since upgrading to Windows 10, whenever I try to watch a video on youtube or any other streaming sites, all I get is a green screen(sometimes black). I have tried in Edge, IE 11 and Firefox , all the same.
My graphics display adapter is AMD 6310HD,my laptop Toshiba C660D previously running Windows 7. Also I don't know if its related but Realplayer Download no longer works.
Checked on Device manager for driver update-result latest driver installed. I have checked Flash Player and Java(both up to date). Before the upgrade all worked perfectly, if there is no solution I may have to revert to Windows 7.
Lately , like in the last week or two, it just restarts in the middle of whatever I am doing. checking the fan... and will clean it out.. but its been recently cleaned and scanned numerous times.. I should at least get a warning screen or something....
View 1 RepliesI'm running Windows 10 and use Google Chrome browser. I have a McAfee security and I have just deactivated the firewall to see if this would resolve the problem.
My Facebook page is unresponsive and blank white. The red icin at the globe suggest I have 4 interaction, and 1 message, I click on this and nothing happens. I've turned off the system, reboot.... still no response.
When watching a full-screen video, my screen saver slide show tries to start. It blacks out the screen and the pictures start showing after a few seconds. That didn't happen with my XP and Windows 7 installations.

Im running x2 gtx 970 on SLI
i5 4690 on a z97x gaming 3 mobo
8gb ddr3 2133mhz ram.
Now i never got any of this on windows 7, i upgraded whilst keeping files and stuff, and i figured the driver was calling this, now i completely uninstalled nvidia software and all the drivers on device manager, then scanned for them and re-installed windows 10 64bit versions of them on freshly, now it continues to happen, if i have multiple tabs of videos on my pc crashes giving me that message.
Yesterday i had noramal updates and since then i cannot play utube videos just a black screen with continuous buffering no sound nothing.
View 1 RepliesI know this has to do with virtual desktops... but it's super obnoxious. Is there a way to get rid of it? I don't really need or want multiple desktops anyway, and it's irritating that it shows a little green bar under every program even when I only have one desktop...
View 1 RepliesLong green progress bar that never finishes in explorer.
View 3 RepliesI don't remember how or when I made a change in File Explorer, but each time I call it up now, I get a slow moving progress bar in the bar where it identifies the location. I noticed there in the search bar it shows where it is going: "search (J:) Jack" as an example.
How do I stop this? It takes a lot of time, depending on the folder.
I just saw that there was a green check mark on some of the application icons on my desktop! Never seen this before! And then suddenly gone!
View 3 RepliesWhen i click ''start menu'', the App's icons are red, green, blue or yellow, changing color (or not), you know when your anti-virus change from green to red if you don't make the upgrade, then to red to green after the upgrade. What's this color change mean in window10 ?.
View 2 RepliesFacebook app crashes as soon as it loads on my laptop which has been upgraded to windows 10.
View 10 RepliesI followed the instructions, go to settings in the People app and add the account. I have Facebook app installed, it says to download it. I uninstalled Facebook and reinstalled. When you click to add the account it goes to the store and comes up with an error. How do we get this to work?
