My games simply crash to desktop without any warning, it only occurs with demanding titles, such as BF4 and the recent Black Desert Online, hell even with Warframe.
I did some research and there was some mentions of memory sticks, but I've run a memtest on my memory just before re-installing my windows and there were no errors with 8 passes.
I did do a fresh install of windows quite recently but this issue existed before the re-install as well. I am thinking maybe my graphic card is faulty?
My games now crash straight to the desktop now. GTA V, MGS V, Just Cause 3, very strange I don't know if it was a Windows update or something with Nvidia? I rolled back drivers and still the same, it was doing it before this update but out of the blue. It worked fine before, great frame rates.
If I shut down and start up and load Just Cause, it got to the menu, but crashed right after. Once it got a few seconds into the game but was running 10 fps never had that before.
Strangely I can run LEGO Jurassic World and Disney Infinity just fine. What could be wrong? Bad GPU?

I can't open 2 games. Of course i can play just 1, but i need to put one in taskbar (SAMP) and when i want to open other game (it doesn't matter what game [League of Legends or something else]), the second game i open crashes.

What's Happening: I'm getting random BSOD's mostly from ntoskrnl.exe all pointing towards hardware failure or driver issues, as well as games crashing anywhere between 15-90 minutes of play time. These crashes are just a simple "game.exe has stopped working" and don't report that the display driver has failed or anything. In event viewer the exception for the crash is always a 0xc5 (Access Violation). For some reason this doesn't seem to affect 2D games as I can play Spelunky for as long as I want with no crashes. Google Chrome crashes pretty often as well, seemingly at random. I never had any issues on Windows 7 and this all started the instant I upgraded to Windows 10.
Since this has started, I first attempted a clean install of windows and continued getting crashes. I then got memtest86+ just to be sure it wasn't memory and let that run overnight, which reported no errors. Most recently, I've attempted a clean install of display drivers using the guide here, went to MSI's website and only found updated audio drivers, and got the most recent chipset drivers from Nvidia for the nForce. I'm still getting crashes, and just got my first BSOD since doing the clean install (IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL from ntoskrnl.exe).
Basically, I'm just wondering if there's anything obvious I should be trying that I've missed or if I should give up and try to revert. It's entirely possible the driver at fault is Nvidia's display driver since I've seen a lot of complaints about it, in which case I would have no choice but to get off windows 10.
Ok . I am getting random system lockups, can happen anytime. Sometimes using when using chrome or just on desktop. Happens most often when windows is on login screen, or sometime right before windows loads. Playing any game I have will cause crash to desktop. Crash time varies from game loading screen to playing game for a few minutes.
So far I have reinstalled windows 3 times. I have replaced motherboard because it crashed during bios update, thus ruining mobo, tried different power supply also. After installing windows I have installed latest drivers that I could find, didnt seem to make any difference from the drivers that were loaded when windows was first installed. I did notice that after I installed pc matic I got constant BSOD, So I uninstalled it. fewer BSOD But still have lockups and game crashes.
I have ran memtest for 24 hours with no errors, also ran tests on ssd and hdd drives with no errors.

I've been experiencing the same crash repeatedly now, while playing any game(it's happened so far in Rainbow Six Siege, Fallout 4 and Just Cause 3) my screen will randomly lock up and there's always a loud EEEEEEEEEEEEE sound until I shut the PC off manually with the power button.
I've tried checking the event logs and there doesn't seem to be anything in there when the lock happens and the PC is completely unresponsive during the lock.
I am having a problem with games freezing on my windows 10 pc. The games that have been freezing are GTA 3, GTA Vice City, GTA San Andreas and Team Fortress 2. GTA V is working fine without any freezes. if i reboot my pc all games are working fine, the freezing usually happens when the pc have been on for a few hours and happens randomly. the games actually start but is really slow, i can skip the intro cutscenes but after that i cant do anything. I can Ctrl + Alt + Delete and close the games and the pc is working just fine its just the games that wont work.
I have an Old Dos Game that I was able to find in bin format and was trying to figure out how to play it on Windows 10. I was trying to figure out DosBox but maybe it's just me but it's too complicated.
A few months ago I installed a windows 7 security update, and my computer basically turned to crap. Most programs couldn't be run unless I opened them in compatibility mode for vista, and games were very laggy. I fixed most of the problems by updating to windows 10, but the game lag is still here. I've updated all of my drivers, but I still can't seem to find the issue. Admittedly, my graphics card is quite bad, but I could still run a lot of games at low settings decently, but now most are abysmal. Oddly enough, there a few games that run just as well as they did before the update. They are Sniper Elite 2, Diablo III, Elder Scrolls online, and nearly all single player games. However, no other game, at least that I've tried, can run. What's causing this lag, and why these games in specific run fine?
I have Windows 7 pro installed and then upgraded to windows 10 with latest updates etc for it. it is installed on C drive like normal. i have another hard drive G that i use to install bunch of PC games ranging from new to old. I noticed that when some of the pc games want to install Direct X componets, MS .net redistro packs etc an error occurs saying i do not have Admin rights to do this. I know Win10 comes with Directx 11 and that the pc games have direct X 10 so i do not need that updated every time a game asks same goes with the redistro packs for .net and other comparable components do i need to install these components everytime i install a game? why am i getting an error in which i have to be an admin when i already am in the admin group.
I have a 9" Irulu 16 GB Android 4.4 tablet about a week ago. Just bought a chromecast, the new version. $45 Cdn before taxes.
I have limited experience with Android tablet and none in Chromecast.
After 2 hours failing to "set me up", I finally found out I had to install the Chromecast app from Google Store. Nobody told me that. I thought the chromecast I bought was all I needed.
I did that and I am now able to watch movies on my TV by clicking at the Chromecast icon at top right corner of my tablet screen.
BUT, how to play games on TV. I have games installed from Google Play Store. When I open a game, I cannot see the Chromecast icon like I see when I want to watch movies on TV.
My chromcast package box shows a list of 7 items one of which is Google Play store. So I have to assume I can use chromecast to play google games. But I can't.
As title says. I'm not able to "isolate" just PC games in Windows Store (the icon on taskbar). And I can't find Gears of War, Rise of the Tomb Raider, etc..
Whenever i try to launch a game on windows 10 i can play normally for 3-20 minutes before Windows hangs (perm Freeze) and i have to restart.
I am having this problem on all the games i have tried (roblox, besiege, terraria, minecraft, team fortress 2) except pokemon tcgo, even browser games will crash. I have reinstalled Windows several times and the problem persists even after updating drivers. My pc was originally working fine and then it started doing this afer i installed .net fremework 3.5 for a game i installed (other games where working fine).
I did once even encounter a BSOD (KMODE_exception_not_handled) sometimes it even crashes at random (i am on a clean install) after inspecting pc i found my psu fan was not working.
I had five games installed on my son's laptop before upgrading from Windows 7 to Windows 10. These games were all running perfectly before the upgrade, but now only two of the five will launch.
The ones that won't open, are Gardenscapes, Mortimer Beckett and the Lost King, and Mortimer Beckett and the Crimson Thief.
They are all still in the Games folder. Is there a way of getting them to launch, or will I have to uninstall and then reinstall them?
I play some Microsoft games, such as Microsoft Mahjong in my Windows 10 computer. I thought that if I install the game in another computer using my Microsoft account, I would be able to see all the levels I have played and continue from there. This is not the case. The game starts from level 1. Is there any way to save your progress to your Microsoft account or otherwise and resume playing from another computer? Like when you save your progress on Facebook in Android games and then resume from another device.
I only use my Microsoft account for specific apps. I don't want to connect my local Windows account to my Microsoft account, if this is possible.
Something has changed in win 10 on my pc. Games that have been running perfectly suddenly are telling me that I have to 'use administrator privileges' to play and are refusing to open. I have just reinstalled Doom 3 again to see if it fixed the fault - nothing. I am wondering if this coincided with my running CCleaner a few days ago, all went haywire after that, so I uninstalled CCleaner.
after installing windows 10 (clean install) my laptop completely freezes, so far happend only while playing games. This is possibly related to nvidia gpu, because basicaly nothing else uses it. I dont get any error or bsod and nothing in the event log, it just hangs with the "bzzz" sound and i have to restart.
Games a tried playing are heroes of the storm and rocket league, got freezes playing both. Time it takes to freeze is random sometimes 10minutes and sometimes 3 hours.
I've recently setup a secondary monitor, but the mouse simply wont lock into the screen where the game is being played (total war) and if i do end up clicking somewhere on the secondary monitor the game will be minimized which is bothersome, I have tried borderless and fullscreen but in vain.
Another issue I've had is that the secondary screen (1600x900) gets some flicker/lines whenever i use vga to connect it, but it works superb with dvi, why?
Now another thing is that when i move the mouse/cursor from the top right corner of the main monitor(1920x1080) it wont switch over to the secondary one(my idea being that the res/size is different).
I was in desktop watching video and uploading video to internet. and my computer just BSODS me with the error IRQL Not Less or Equal.

So I was playing around with VBS and I screwd up the loop command and made my computer open like 50 mspaint. I hard shutdown my computer and then it just wouldn't boot up. Put me in the fix screen and gave me two options of restart or more advanced. Restart gives blue screen with critical process died, safe mode takes me back to that screen and nothing is fixing it.
As of lately, my computer will crash randomly while playing mostly graphically intensive games. I can do normal things on my PC all day long and play low end games with pretty much no problem. As soon as I play GTA 5, BF4, or something of that graphic capability the application will crash. Sometimes within a few minutes, but mostly within a 15-30 min period.
Quite frequently, the Runescape Client (queue jokes) window will randomly close too. I kind of feel like this is the same issue going on. However, with this being much less graphically intense, it happens less frequently or takes longer for a crash to occur.
99% of the time I get the same 0xC0000005 error (means the program has attempted to access memory that it shouldn't. ), on rare occasions it will BSOD with a 1A MEMORY_MANAGEMENT error or a 4E PFN_LIST_CORRUPT.
This has become extremely annoying and I don't quite know where to pinpoint the problem, and all of these seem to be memory related issues. Due to the fact that it mostly happens with graphically intense games, I want to point my finger at my video card.
I thought about stress testing my video card to see if it will crash again. I don't really know how to strictly test the memory of a video card, but that was my best guess. Below are the troubleshooting tips I have tried, as well as links to pictures from Event Viewer, Bluescreenview, and debug reports from WinDBG for the 1A and 4E errors are attached.
Troubleshooting steps I have done are:
Tried reverting back to the last "most stable" driver for my GPU (Clean Install)Updated video drivers to the latest version (Clean install)Checked my SSD for errors using software from the vendor (Don't believe this is an issue because two games are on different disks, and the same thing happens)Checked my RAM with memtest86 for 24 hours (Did this twice now)Scanned for malware, no threats foundUsed CCleaner to clean crap off of my computerEnsured Windows was fully up-to-date with the latest critical and optional patches.
