All screens in the game flicker both in the menus and in game. It flickers so fast it is like a strobe light. The game is otherwise playable.
Compatibility options make no difference. This is with the DVD version of the game. Silent Hill 2 and 3 work fine. This issue was not present for me on Windows 7.
Whenever I am trying to play FIFA 11 on my pc the screen starts to flicker badly And washes out. My pc config is Ci3 4150 , nvidia gt 610 graphics, 500gb hdd, windows 10 pro . all the drivers are up to date . another issue is sometimes it says lan cable disconnected even when connected. There are many little bugs too like sometimes cant type into google chrome address bar.
Trying to record KSP with the screen recorder, but it will only record for exactly 10 seconds then say 'There's nothing to record. Play some more and try again.' I have tried it windowed and then on a couple other games, same thing. Graphics driver is up to date.MVI 4064 -
I want to silently send a copy of the mail all my users are sending to another mail account. Kind of like adding a rule to CC a copy of each email they send to another account but the problem is that they are able to see the email ID to which it is being sent. So my question is that I want to silently BCC emails without anyone knowing.
I found this : Silent BCC for Outlook - have a copy of every outgoing email message in your company
But this is too costly for multiple machines. Is there anything free available?
After upgrading to this build, all of the icons and notification center flicker every few seconds. When I click on the Start button, the start menu will open after a while.
I have two hidden object games that has a screen that is to large and some of the objects are out of site on the sides. I tried setting the resolution smaller, but that just made the screen smaller and objects are still hidden. When I remove the check mark from full screen, the screen is to small to find the hidden objects. The game worked fine on my 19" monitor, but not this larger one.
Testing the xbox game DVR records great but for some reason does not record sound. Also will not work if a game is in full screen mode only works in windowed mode.
Since upgrading to Windows 10 I've experienced cxonstant screen flickering during gaming. I can only really describe it as a weird fluctuation of brightness, in horizontal lines, up and down my monitor. On Counter Strike it seems to have been somewhat solved through V-Sync but I'm trying to play other games and it is making them completely unplayable.
I have turned V-Sync on through the Nvidia Control Panel and it has done nothing. I've tried running games at various different graphical settings and it has not worked. I have also tried running my monitor and PC from different power sockets just in case the PSU is somehow interfering and it has done nothing.
I have also experimented with running my monitor at different hz but I only have the option to run at 60hz.
I have encountered regular blue screen of death when I'm playing. Sometimes the BSOD appeared just after the reboot of my pc too. I have tried to repair the game, de-install and re-install it, update all my drivers, update the motherboard's drivers, but nothing worked. I really don't know what to do anymore. I attach the required zip file of the posting instructions with the dump files inside. MAXIME-PC-Tue_01_05_2016_163628_51.zip
Randomly getting a BSOD while gaming, or sometimes at complete random. What this dmp file points too? tried to do some research on the hal.dll driver, no specific luck on what could cause it.
I have reported it (and others) on the Nvidia forums. Doesn't seem to happen for light gaming for 5 minutes or so (and of course won't happen after playing solitaire) but after heavy gaming (Battlefield Hardline, the free Star Wars beta) for 30 minutes or so, after exiting most of the start menu is often blank. Takes a reboot to get it back.
I do not believe it's corruption issues on my OS or hardware issues. Things I've done:
1) SFC/scannow no issues
2) Ran this "Get-appxpackage -all *shellexperience* -packagetype bundle |% {add-appxpackage -register -disabledevelopmentmode ($_.installlocation + "appxmetadataappxbundlemanifest.xml")} to reregister icons.
Whenever I load the simulator, I get the splash screen, but it just goes to a black screen, no error messages, etc. just a black screen, if I hit ESC and hit Y, the simulator exits without a problem, I just can't see it.
Changed config from FULL_SCREEN=1 to FULL_SCREEN=0 and it works now, but it's not fullscreen anymore.
I've been having this issue for almost a month now and nothing I have done has managed to fix the issue. Randomly I will get this error message:
After a few of these error messages it will eventually BSOD or freeze as seen here:
I will get both of these by doing pretty much any task on the computer, whether it be watching a video, browsing a site or even just sat at the desktop. However extremely interesting is the fact that this error will not appear in any form whilst playing games on the computer. It will not error or BSOD or anything. But doing any other task will do so, even if i have 1 program running on my entire PC.
Things I have tried so far: Updating drivers Uninstalling/reinstalling drivers Installing beta drivers Using 'Display Driver Uninstaller' to clear drivers Cleaned out the PC of all dust present Took out and reseated graphics card from motherboard Put my 2 RAM sticks into different slots on the motherboard Unplugging my 2nd monitor so I am only using one Adding a TDR delay to my registry Full virus scan Updating my BIOS software
The only things I have not tried is swapping out hardware components as I am unsure if it is a hardware issue or a software issue as of yet.
I've noticed that the BSOD and errors become more common the longer the PC is left on. For example last night it was blue screening every 5 minutes of being active.
The error does not seem to continue whilst in safe mode as last night i spent a long time in 'Safe Mode Networking' in order to look up possible fixes. I am not sure if it does not continue because of drivers not being in use or because the quality is much lower than normal.
Is there any way to Uninstall Xbox app & Live Gaming from Win10? When I try to install/run game 'Halo2' on Win10 its refuses saying there is already a Live Gaming account running (Halo2 uses Live Gaming itself). I suspect the Xbox app (which also uses Live Gaming) is to blame for this. As I don't use or need the Xbox app can it be removed?
My OS crashed each time I play games like FIfa 15 or CS GO. Had the issue when I was on win 8 and has now persisted in windows 10 as well. So first the the output from graphics card disappears afer 4-5 mins of usage and then PC freezes with some looping noise from the speakers.
Configuration:

I tried Windows 10 and found that Guild Wars 2 had such bad lag that it was unplayable. I had a ping of 1360 as one point when it had been in the 60-80 range previously. Internet web pages took painfully long to load. I have an excellent ISP and have never had complaints about internet access before. In searching forums I read that Window 10 has issues with data packet loss, excessive lag, etc. I went back to Windows 7 and this fixed the lag issue with Guild Wars 2 and Web Pages load instantly again, so I know Windows 10 was causing the problem. Windows 10 is safe for online gaming yet?
I am unable to watch a movie or look at youtube videos when i am gaming at the same time. The symptom is that the video laggs but the audio is fine sometimes. its like its dropping frames but when i highlight chrome that i use the problem goes away. what could cause this. The problem started right after i installed windows 10.
I am using mpc-hc to watch movies and i am using chrome to watch youtube. I have tried internet explorer but the problem is still there.
Using windows 10, gtx 970 and 16 gigs of ram so my hardware can handle it.
I have been getting blue screens everytime I play intensive games such as Grand Theft Auto V and Dota 2. I am not sure what has caused it but here is a link to the minidump files. URL....
I am having a problem with games freezing on my windows 10 pc. The games that have been freezing are GTA 3, GTA Vice City, GTA San Andreas and Team Fortress 2. GTA V is working fine without any freezes. if i reboot my pc all games are working fine, the freezing usually happens when the pc have been on for a few hours and happens randomly. the games actually start but is really slow, i can skip the intro cutscenes but after that i cant do anything. I can Ctrl + Alt + Delete and close the games and the pc is working just fine its just the games that wont work.
I have an Old Dos Game that I was able to find in bin format and was trying to figure out how to play it on Windows 10. I was trying to figure out DosBox but maybe it's just me but it's too complicated.
So in like 2014 I used to play a game and now I am playing it , I would like to get those 2014 files to get the older version of the game as in the file there will be a .fp file. I would like to get that .fp file of 2014 , Today I have the latest updated files of the game , Is there somehow I can get a very old version of the file so I can get that file to get the older version of the game? I tried right click on the .fp and click properties and prevous versions but i am only getting the game old file of 2015's summer. I really want that 2014 .fp file to play an older version of the game.
A few months ago I installed a windows 7 security update, and my computer basically turned to crap. Most programs couldn't be run unless I opened them in compatibility mode for vista, and games were very laggy. I fixed most of the problems by updating to windows 10, but the game lag is still here. I've updated all of my drivers, but I still can't seem to find the issue. Admittedly, my graphics card is quite bad, but I could still run a lot of games at low settings decently, but now most are abysmal. Oddly enough, there a few games that run just as well as they did before the update. They are Sniper Elite 2, Diablo III, Elder Scrolls online, and nearly all single player games. However, no other game, at least that I've tried, can run. What's causing this lag, and why these games in specific run fine?
I very recently built my own Gaming PC and just installed Windows 10 on it today (It never previously had any operating system installed on it), I tried using my WiFi card to connect to the internet but after learning that my card isn't compatible with windows 10 I resorted to using an Ethernet cable. Unfortunately, I still can't find nor connect to an internet source and the network icon in the bottom right is not appearing. I've tried rebooting the system several times with no luck.
Since a little over a week or so I have been experiencing frequent BSOD when playing games (these include Witcher 3, WoW, CSGO....). The main ones that show up are:
Sometimes it only crashes to my desktop but overall they are very frequent and quite annoying. It occurs both when I have several programs running at once but also when only a single program is up. The computer is new, have only had it for around 2 months.
My drivers are all up to date, I have run virus and malware scans which have not come up with anything. The errors to me seem to point to a RAM issue (although I quite honestly know nothing about these things) so I ran the windows memory diagnostic which did not come up with any errors.
My Rig is: Windows 10 x64 AMD FX(tm)- 8350 eight core processor NVIDIA Geforce GTX 970 Crucial 8 GB Sport Ballistix 240 Pin DIMM DDR3 PC3-12800 Memory Module
During gaming, I get constant BSOD's with similar error messages. It usually occurs within 5-20 minutes. The computer then reboots and another BSOD always occurs again after i login to my computer. Subsequently another BSOD usually occurs straight after this and completely turns my computer off. These BSOD'S include page non fault, iqrl, memory management, system thread exception (all of the top of my head). I can't recall it happening whilst not gaming and thus I assumed the problem would tend to the GPU which is fully updated. I also ran memtest with a return of no errors and also took each RAM out at a time but still got the error so RAM shouldn't be the problem. I've updated every driver in device manager.
