I upgrade to Windows 10 a good month or so ago. All seemed fine. I woke my desktop up today to find this green screen w/continuous circles. I have unplugged everything and powered down and restarted. (This is the only suggestion I could find to fix it) The green screen came back up immediately. I have tried to get to where I could restart in safe mode but I can't navigate anywhere. I only have this green screen.

View 1 RepliesIt is really hard to write this as the title says green with green text, anyhow, I upgraded win 7 and my primary account on win 10 is fine, but this 2nd user account, IE11 comes up with a green background, the search bar is green lettering, in fact this area here where I am typing the message is green with green text. What is going on?
I have tried changing the colors from default, I have tried updating the graphics card and nothing seems to work. One lead I thought I had was that this 2nd account was encrypted, but in the settings it doesn't seem to be.
I need to disable Flash Hardware Acceleration in edge. My videos are green screens. Where I can do this? The only option I seem to have is to switch Flash off in Edge?

View 1 RepliesAfter installing windows 10 all Internet based media is not working. BBC iplayer, Netflix both via app and browsers, YouTube takes notions, any live streaming is a pixilated green screen but again with just sound. As this is the main use of my Toshiba laptop the thing is darn useless now.
Reinstalled windows 10, updated and rolled back various drivers, Done the usual chance video to software acceleration instead of via GPU. Nothings worked and not seeing similar threads so am I alone and if so how do I go about getting a working laptop again as I no longer have option to go back to 8.1.
Since upgrading to Windows 10, whenever I try to watch a video on youtube or any other streaming sites, all I get is a green screen(sometimes black). I have tried in Edge, IE 11 and Firefox , all the same.
My graphics display adapter is AMD 6310HD,my laptop Toshiba C660D previously running Windows 7. Also I don't know if its related but Realplayer Download no longer works.
Checked on Device manager for driver update-result latest driver installed. I have checked Flash Player and Java(both up to date). Before the upgrade all worked perfectly, if there is no solution I may have to revert to Windows 7.
There was a cursor locator in Windows 7, using a key to show circles around the cursor; is there one in Windows 10, and if so what?

View 1 RepliesI know it's in Windows, because it appears in all three browsers(Firefox,Chrome, and Edge) and in Word, Open Office, etc. It's an ad, but Ad Block Plus, Ad-Aware won't remove it. It just shows up as a band about 4-6" across the bottom of the screen. I can type over it, but it blocks most of what's in back. It basically says Series 5, Hyper Real Engine with a Samsung logo inside. How can I get rid of it? It comes on, stays on for about 15 seconds, disappears for around 15 seconds and the continuous loop never stops. I've tried everything, including anti-virus programs, turning my PC on and off, but no success.

View 1 RepliesI recently upgraded to Windows 10, since upgrading I'm having pretty regular BSOD Crashes where the following error message appears;
VIDEO TDR FAILURE (nvlddmkm.sys)
It appears to happen at completely random times, could be watching a youtube video, opening a reddit page or just playing a song on itunes. I've updated to the most recent Nvidia drivers but to no avail. I also tried to follow the following instructions from this youtube video [URL] ...., however its still happening.
My computer is currently pretty much unusable! Specs are below :

I bought a new hard-drive a Seagate SSHD. The one with a 8 gig cache and 2TB regular drive. Everytime or so I boot into Windows 10 it hard-drive errors.
MTF errors needing the hard-drive to be scanned to fix. Security Descriptor erros fixed through Scandisk. The odd thing is When I boot Windows 10 it causes other internal Hard-drives to be corrupted entries... index, MTF errors. Errors that only checkdisk can fix.
The other hard-drives have windows xp and windows 7 on it. They are NTFS.
However, my Ubuntu Harddrive is never effected. I run Windows 10 for a signifigant amount of time then it tells me to restart due to drive errors that need to be fixed. If I never go into windows 10 i never have problems.
Is Windows 10 being finicky with my SSHD, should I get a new drive? Not compatible with SSHD?
I had the drive on my computer for a significant amount of time before putting windows 10 on it. It was blank and never caused problems... not until I put windows 10 on it.
So I just updated my Toshiba laptop from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10 and now I'm having audio problems. At first after I upgraded I had no sound. I fixed it by uninstalling and reinstalling my Realtek audio driver. Now I got my sound back, but now whenever I play audio the sound isn't clear anymore Especially when I use YouTube. I updated my Realtek audio driver from version 6.0.1.7541 to 6.0.1.7586 and I still hear the buzzing! I tried audio troubleshooting and it said the problem couldn't be identified. What do I do?

Earlier this afternoon I decided to reset Windows 10 as I had a problem with BSOD BAD_POOL_CALLING over and over again. I booted in Safe Mode, went to Advanced Options and so on. It wasn't a factory-new reset, just the one that removes all files, app data, etc. I left it for a while and came back to find it hadn't worked; there was an error message that read 'There was a problem whilst restarting your PC'. I tried again and the error message appeared again. Because of this, I decided to exit and continue to Windows 10 and see if it had done anything.
Now, when I try to boot my PC up, the circle that usually rotates on the 'Zoostorm' screen when loading doesn't appear. The PC then reboots and tries again, again and again, but with no success. I have tried turning off and on, and even unplugging everything, however nothing seems to work. My PC is now stuck in a continuous reboot loop and won't load. Unfortunately, I can't press F8 or Shift + F8 when booting to start Safe Mode. I have never made a recovery drive for Windows 10 and I don't think my computer came with a repair disk.
I know this has to do with virtual desktops... but it's super obnoxious. Is there a way to get rid of it? I don't really need or want multiple desktops anyway, and it's irritating that it shows a little green bar under every program even when I only have one desktop...
View 1 RepliesAbout a minute after starting up, my desktop begins to start flashing to black and coming back in a continuous loop. The file explorer, however is completely unaffected. Using Google I have found that this occurred back in the technical previews of Windows 10 as well, but a new update from Windows fixed the issue. I can not get the explorer stable long enough to even check Windows Update. I have also run sfc /scannow and it said the integrity of my system is fine.
View 4 RepliesToday, I finally went through with the free Windows 10 upgrade. After the upgrade concluded, my laptop worked fine for about an hour, after which time it crashed to the new and improved Windows 10 BSOD, informing me that they would restart my computer for me. The problem is that, after the initial ACER screen, in which I can press F2 to enter setup, a Windows Automatic Repair screen comes up, and shortly thereafter, crashes right back to the BSOD. It will do this 5 or 6 times before giving up and staying shut down. I cannot press F8 or Shift+F8 to enter safe mode at any point.
Now, when I press F2 to enter the set up screen, I am given the following 5 screens, in order:
As far as I can tell, with an admitted lack of expertise, there does not appear to be any way for me to access the BIOS to at least get to safe mode, and perhaps go back to a restore point.
Long green progress bar that never finishes in explorer.
View 3 RepliesI don't remember how or when I made a change in File Explorer, but each time I call it up now, I get a slow moving progress bar in the bar where it identifies the location. I noticed there in the search bar it shows where it is going: "search (J:) Jack" as an example.
How do I stop this? It takes a lot of time, depending on the folder.
I just saw that there was a green check mark on some of the application icons on my desktop! Never seen this before! And then suddenly gone!
