View 1 RepliesIf you want to change the wallpaper on the new login screen of Windows 10, you can watch my tutorial. The download you need is in the video description. This works with builds 10162 and above.
View 4 RepliesHow to change the login screen image? I'm not talking about the lock screen, which is the first screen to show up when you start your computer, I'm talking about the one where you actually enter your password.

View 3 RepliesI see where to change the photo for your wallpaper and your screensaver but can't find out where to change the background image of the login page. I don't like the blue windows logo light image. Can we change it?
View 6 RepliesTo change logon screen colour and background in W10 doesn't work any more.
The Windows 8.1 method doesn't work any more -- if you choose the wrong colour at install time you are stuck with it.
The option to change doesn't work from the desktop - It used to be possible also from the Start screen in W8.1 - example shown below.
My error -- you simply right mouse click on desktop on W10 and then personalize -- it's separate from installing themes. The setting changes menu colour task bar colour and logon background.
Is there an easy way to change the Login screen background?
View 4 RepliesCannot find how to change/add picture to the login screen?
View 2 RepliesHow to change the color of the user login screen. Mine is the ugliest color. None of the information I found on Windows 8 will work on Windows 10. I am unable to open its answer for some reason. Says I don't have permission.
View 9 RepliesI was wondering where the login screen background image is stored? I'm trying to change it to a different image
View 6 RepliesMy brother set up installed the new windows 10 on the pc and for some reason the pc username is now his name, is registered on his email and also uses his password. I cant seem to change this because everytime i press on "Change Account Settings" a window pops up and then closes right after. no message is shown and no error is visible, what can i do to fix this?
View 1 RepliesOk so i am furious with Micro$oft now! the other day i was FORCED to change my microsoft account after much nagging i did so and i dont like changing logins too much. (this was a week ago)
now for some random reason on earth without my permission my windows login also changed login passwords to the microsoft account. I DONT WANT THAT! that password is too long and complicated for someone who locks his computer every 5 minutes or so. why did this just kick in now? i changed M$ account pass over a week ago and today it decides to change windows login?! can i change JUST my local windows login separate from microsoft login?
if i try to change pass from settings it it goes online and says you cant use password that has been used before.
At the moment I have a Local login and I am considering changing to a Microsoft login. If I do, does this mean that when my PC starts from a boot, that instead of the pin that I use to login to my account on the PC, I will be asked to login with both my Microsoft account username and password? If I make a mistake will I be locked out of my PC?
View 3 RepliesBasically what the title says. I need to be able to:
1. Change the audio playback device to a specific device.
2. Change the active window.
Both need to be able to be done in cmd. How would I be able to do that?
wndows10 build 10122 was fine, works great put the pin to login and go... now with the windows10 build 10130. the pin login is gone.
View 5 RepliesI have successfully installed windows 10. I am having difficulty trying to login to my Live ID though.
1: I go to my account.
2: I click change account settings.
3: I see that i am a "local account administrator."
4: I click "sign in with a microsoft account instead"
5: Box pops up, loads for about 2 seconds then i see "something went wrong. Try again, or select cancel to set up your device later."
6: I click retry and the error continues to pop up.
I am connected to internet. My computer met the spec requirements and runs very fast. Everything else on the computer works. Prior to installing windows 10. i factory reset the laptop. Got all appropriate Windows 7 updates before installing 10. Setting up a second account is also impossible. I receive the same error.
If you installed Windows 10 and are not able to login with PIN, I found this solution: Source
View 1 RepliesAfter my update there are no settings anymore to configure alternative logins like pin.
View 3 RepliesWould like to log in on the computer start up without using password.
View 1 Repliesyesterday I loaded up a game and noticed that I had really bad lag. Eventually I found out that my PC said that my nvidia gpu was missing (the nvidia control panel said so). I tired fixing it in a number of ways but none worked. I uninstalled my gpu driver and got driver sweeper which asked me if I wanted to reboot in safe mode and I pressed yes.
Then my PC went to a black screen and stayed that way until today. I followed some random person online's idea to take out my ram and put it back in - it worked. Now another (and the main) problem. Windows 10 loaded up into the log in screen. One weird thing is that it is zoomed in by a lot which I did not do. Here's the main problem I'm having. I tried to put in the password for my email associated with my PC account log in system.
I tried a bunch of passwords but none has worked so far. I've tried f8 but to use any of the options I have to log in. I've changed my password online for my Microsoft account but it doesn't work. I have an Ethernet cable connected to my PC but it says I don't have an Internet connection. I reset my PC and I pressed f8 and it randomly started the system repair even though my password didn't work. I clicked the drive reset option and chose to keep all my files. That gets to I think 17% and then shows me an error saying that there was a problem with it. I also tried the complete reset of my disk but it took about an 30 minutes to get to 2% and I reset my PC.
Extra info.: I have a 2TB hard drive and I have like 600 GB's left.
I can't login or use my mouse
