why can I no longer burn movies to a DVD. My computer says I may have to install latest update? used to be able to make a movie and use Windows Media Player to burn it to a Disc No more what gives
I know they got rid of Media Center but I didn't think or realize that was the same app. If that's the case, is there no way to stream media from a Windows 10 PC to an Xbox One?
When i had windows 7 dvd played good an i could watch movies online now when i go to play a dvd it says missing codec. when i go to watch a movie online it says does not support that format i dont understand whats going on.
I have a number of videos on my OneDrive (set up as a network share as I don't want to have my entire OneDrive here), and I have added the folder in the app settings, but nothing shows up.
So how do you make it work? Some guys claimed months ago that subtitles are working and now when they even officialy updated it with .srt support I still cant make it work.
I tried to move subtitles file over the screen - not working
I tried renaming the subtitles as the file I want to play - not working.
I have a series of videos I want to play on my surface book. I opened the folder they were in and hit "play all". Windows movie and TV app opens the first video only. Is this a limitation or is there something wrong with my app? If this is a limitation why in the world is there a play all button for a default app that can't play all?
I am unable to purchase any movies, games or apps on the Windows 10 store. When I click buy I enter my password then the screen loads for a few seconds then dims gray. The transaction never gets completed.
This does not happen when the software is free, only paid things.
I just noticed 2 major problems with playing MKV files using the native Movies & TV app in Windows 10 Pro x64 that I'm running.
1. I'm not sure if Windows 10 fully supports MKV files yet but audio from some MKV files couldn't be played with the Movies & TV app. The video plays fine but it's just muted.
2. Enabling subtitles using the built-in feature of the Movies & TV App causes a horrible lag and stutter of the whole MKV video.
im starting to seriously hate this default media player now... not so much on music even tho when i press stop on my keyboard it still does not stop but anyways back on topic
is there a way to make the media player enter fullscreen instead of just maximizing the window ? ive tried ATL+Enter and still nothing.
Since installing Windows 10 I cannot watch movies on Netflix. I can access the Netflix website, however, when I click on the show I was watching I get an error message.
I know it's not the Netflix website because I can watch the movies on my other computer.
I have a Laptop (Windows Home 10) and a Desktop (Windows 8.1 home) and I want to enable Administrator on both. I have used all of the suggesting about this I got on the internet and nothing works.
I could not find a solution for how re-enable the windows key on my keyboard. This is the second time it just stopped working. I cannot figure out how I did it before.
I want to enable expandable folders like in previous versions of windows. But can't find out how to do it. Here is a tutorial for Windows 7 to explain what I am trying to do.

Is it possible to enable Hybrid Sleep in Windows 10? This is what WIkipedia says in the article about Sleep mode:
Sleep mode and hibernation can be combined: the contents of RAM are first copied to non-volatile storage like for regular hibernation, but then, instead of powering down, the computer enters sleep mode. This approach combines the benefits of sleep mode and hibernation: The machine can resume instantaneously, but it can also be powered down completely (e.g. due to loss of power) without loss of data, because it is already effectively in a state of hibernation. This mode is called "hybrid sleep" in Microsoft Windows other than Windows XP.
It's not the same as Fast Startup, because this is basically a stripped-down variant of hibernation as described in the original post. I can't find the option to enable Hybrid Sleep anywhere.
I recently built this computer and had win 7 installed. I upgraded to win 10 and I also have a touch screen monitor, how do I enable touch screen on my computer?
