View 5 RepliesMaybe I'm missing something obvious but I can't seem to find a "forward as attachment" option in Windows 10 Mail App. I used it extensively in Windows Live Mail. Has the option been removed?

View 1 RepliesWhenever I try to reply to or forward an email that has an attachment, I receive a notice of failure from the postmaster of Hotmail, the predecessor to Outlook. My operating system is Windows 10 and this happens when I use Edge, Internet Explorer or Google browsers. I am subscribed to Toshiba Support and they have spent many hours in multiple sessions trying to determine the cause without success.
View 4 RepliesAny way to add an email client to the Send To context menu in Windows 10?
Here's what I want to be able to do:
1. Right click file or files
2. Choose Send To> Mail Client
3. Have a blank email draft open with the files attached
The reason I want to be able to do this is because the current method takes longer. See below:
1. Open Mail Client
2. Select New Mail
3. Select Attach
4. Navigate to files
5. Select files
Currently there is a "Mail Recipient" within the context menu, but it is not compatible with any of the mail clients I've used (Gmail app, Windows Mail app, Mailbird). I've tried adding these to the SendTo folder in WindowsApps, but this only opens the app, not a blank email with the files already attached.
Any mail that I receive that contains an animated attachment shows as a still i.e. no movement at all. This is not a problem with Outlook mail.
Another problem is the inability to set up a group contact, which is important to me. Again there is no problem with Outlook.
Two issues that may be related?
1) After upgrading to Win 10 (I use office 365) I can no longer Drag & Drop a file into a message body, but it will allow by using the "attach file" tool in Outlook 2013.
2) The Windows Desktop Search is no longer active making those fast, live searches available, like searching thru my Sent folder. The Add In is disabled but when I enable it, and restart Outlook, it goes back to being a disabled Add In.
I am unable to print any email - either by using [Ctrl] +P or by clicking on the Print button in the dropdown menu. I get a message saying: "Nothing was sent to print. Open a document and print again" .... Windows 10
View 2 RepliesI have never had any problems printing attachments until today, which tells me it must be a system difference (I recently downloaded Windows 10 to my computer)
When I searched it advised to open the FILE TAB, under printer CLICK PRINT OPTIONS, in the print dialog box select PRINT ATTACHED FILES BOX...
I only know of one file tab and I cannot access it from my email.
I cannot find any way to print a copy of an email from the Mail app.

View 4 RepliesRight now, if you select Microsoft Print to PDF under Print, it sends the file to the Documents folder in OneDrive.
Where do I change the location so it saves it to the Documents folder on the PC?
Given command for print in Edge is opening the Print Dialogue Box on full page (screenshot attached).
Sometimes the the taskbar overlap the print button. Is there a way to open this box in small size.
The print spooler chokes on both of my Windows 10 machines when trying to deal with certain pdf files. For instance when I tried to print [URL] ... via my browser (Chrome), it printed the first 6 pages, but the printer showed an error when it came to the seventh page. When I then tried to create another job just to print the seventh page, it just hung around in the print spool and nothing happened at the printer.
I tried this several times on two machines. It was also impossible either to cancel the job in the print queue manager or to stop the spooler in the services manager in order to manually clear the print queue, which meant that the only way I could clear the queue was to restart the machine. I got the same behaviour whether I was printing to my physical printer or to the MS pdf printer. I also got the same behaviour when I tried to print from a different browser (Edge). This is not the first time I have had a problem with an unprintable file like this in Windows 10.
there doesn't seem to be a way to print a standard 6x4 photo using the Windows print function for pictures. how to do this as it was possible on earlier versions of Windows.
View 3 RepliesI am using the Outlook app, Windows 10 on the Surface Pro. Attachments to emails take a long time to open (this is not the case if I were to access my Gmail via a browser to open the same attachment).
View 3 RepliesI cannot use the Microsoft print to pdf feature on my Lenovo laptop from the Windows 10 Home Edge browser. The print screen shows a blank preview. Print to pdf does work on the laptop from any other app such as Word, OneNote, etc.
I can print to pdf from Edge on my desktop running the same version of Windows 10 and Edge.
I have completely uninstalled the print to pdf feature on the laptop, all the way to uninstalling the print server drivers and disabling the feature in the Windows 10 installation. And then enabling and reinstalling it. I still cannot print to a pdf file from Edge on the laptop. It is not a print problem, as this feature does work on all other apps/programs.
Almost every app, attachment or website I try to download, uses ages to open up. How to improve these conditions ?

View 5 RepliesI have my own business. I pay CRA on line then I print off the receipt as I need a hard copy. Windows 7 it is easy as I open the pdf on my desk top and then right click on the document and the menu shows me print then I print.
Windows 10 I save the CRA receipt to my desk top, I open the pdf and then right click and all that appears is "Save as" nowhere can I find a print option or icon?
When I try to print from Edge, I get a blank preview block, and the printer produces a blank page.

Can't print from any app in Windows 10. Printing from Edge, Google, etc. just spins around and Microsoft Word or any pdf just freezes and eventually says "not responding"
Printers are HP LaserJet Pro P1102 and HP 7250. The download and install assistant for update firmware is very slow. 2 hrs in.
I guess I'm getting old but somehow i've missed how to print or capture a page. I can find nothing that tells me about printing. I have the win 10 download from yesterday.
