Having issue with Store crashing?
Since today unable to open store app. Build 10532.
experienced it today when rebooting.. Can't reboot 5 times on windows but luckily it reboots and afraid to do restart again until I found the problem. T
EDIT: Haven't experienced it on RTM build (10240)
EDIT: Got back to RTM build (10240) and haven't experience it so it must be a bug on insider build.
my app store crashes whenever I click any app for installing. This started happening when I restored My windows 10 after getting the upgrade.
View 7 RepliesSince installing the Technical Preview update yesterday, IE crashes or hangs on about half the websites I visit (including this one), but not 100% of the time.
Haven't been able to tell if there is specific content within pages that crash that could be causing it, but apparently I will have to use Firefox until the next update that should include Spartan.
Project Spartan worked fine on my PC in the last build, but it just keeps crashing in build 10061. Running into this issue in the new build?
View 4 RepliesI recently built a new pc and installed Windows 10 on it via usb 3.0 . Now, whenever I turn my pc on, it shuts itself off and turns itself back on again and this goes on in an endless loop.

View 5 RepliesI'm running the RTM build on my tablet and the Store and Movies and TV apps crash on launch. I've tried restarts but they're not working.
View 1 Replies1)open cmd as admin
2)Go to C:Users<Insert Username>AppDataLocalPackages and search name of your broken app (I will search Photos app)
3)Look at folder's name (Microsoft.Windows.Photos)
4)Now you know your app's id. Let's go back to cmd
5)Use this code
PowerShell -ExecutionPolicy Unrestricted -Command "& {$manifest = (Get-AppxPackage Microsoft.WRITE APP'S ID HERE).InstallLocation + 'AppxManifest.xml' ; Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register $manifest}"
It will be like this
PowerShell -ExecutionPolicy Unrestricted -Command "& {$manifest = (Get-AppxPackage Microsoft.Windows.Photos).InstallLocation + 'AppxManifest.xml' ; Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register $manifest}"
6)Press Enter and wait till the command finishes its work.
7)You don't have to reboot. Open your broken app and it will work now

Is there any way, so that I can stop automatic download of Windows apps from the Store. Since "New apps will save to" button is greyed out and I don't want space to filled with apps or can it be turned to manual check.
View 3 RepliesSo, recently (after the November build release) I woke the next morning to find that my computer underwent a rather major update. After which, it seemed, my home network was thrown out of wack. I immediately rolled/reverted/recovered to previous build. But now everything is out of wack. Most of the time I have to restart my computer just so it'll communicate with my printer to start printing.
And restarting the computer is twice as long if it restarts at all. Most of the time It gets stuck in the "restart" progress animates (the rotating circles) and I have to press the restart button on the computer tower, with great regret and dread. Transferring files from one windows 10 device to another is a 50/50 hit or miss. I'm not literate when it comes to networking and was super happy how everything was.
But now, not only is my wifi home network out of wack, but my computer itself is wonky. I figure I might as well reinstall the newest build in hopes that it'll at least fix a fe of the problems. But anytime I check for updates, the newest build no longer shows up.
I am having some trouble getting the default store apps to work. As for the store itself, it used to briefly show the splash then crash. Now it is just an unknown file type that doesn't do anything when clicked. I have tried some of the more common fixes, like the powershell re-register scripts, but none work, all returning errors of one kind or another. At this point, would it just be easier to "Reset this PC", or is there another fix I may not have tried?
View 8 RepliesI wanted to try out windows 10 on my old PC, so I downloaded the latest ISO and installed I via USB. After installing, I'm stuck on the create account screen and can't pass it. Tried entering outlook account, tried creating local account but nothing works and I'm stuck on create account screen. See the attached images ....
View 6 RepliesLast week my PC got a update of .net framework and MS office...according to that I updated but because of this update it broke the update settings of w10...i'm unable to update to new build(10041)...also I tried to turn w10 in safe mode to make restore to previous restore point but after pressing f8 it didn't show me the safe mode options.
View 2 RepliesWhen I first got Windows 10, I experienced frequent crashes and hangs, and I frequently had to restart, because something wasn't working right. About a month ago, the system finally became reasonably stable. Yesterday, I upgraded to build 10586, and so far at least I haven't had any crashes or hangs, but every time I turn the computer on, I have to restart to get everything to work right. Is it possible to just ignore those build upgrade notices, so I can enjoy a stable OS for a while?
View 9 RepliesI have received the free update from Windows 7 to Windows 10.My issues originally started when the start menu with the apps on disappeared I researched the internet and managed to fix this by using Powershell and copying and pasting in some instrucitons
My computer has recently done an update and I am on build 10240 and now my apps do not work at all. I wish I could go back to WIndows 7 but am over the month where it allows you to which is very annoying as Windows 10 seems very unstable.how I am to get my apps working again I have researched the internet and tried some fixes (including Powershell again) but to no avail The apps do not work - not in the start menu or in the all apps section.
So I recently returned from holiday and saw that my PC hadnt updated from build 10130 to build 10240.
It is stuc at 1% downloading, have left it for a few days, but no luck.
I no longer have the Insider app on my build of Windows 10.
I tried going to Settings, system, apps & features, manage optional features, but the Insider app is not listed as a reinstall option.
The build worked fine for a few hours...but while I was watching a video on youtube my desktop rebooted and then it was an infinite reboot loop(works only till the windows loading and when coming to the sign in page it reboots)..
View 3 RepliesI have been an Insider since the beginning and have received all the updates during the past few months. I'm currently stuck in build 10166 and Windows Update informs me that my device is current. Checking for updates yields nothing new except that Defender is updated daily, sometimes more than once. On the next page I see a "Fix Me" button, but when I click on that up comes a dialog asking if I want to discontinue future builds.
I ran the update troubleshooter, which reports: "Problems found: Service registration is missing or corrupt. Not fixed". I don't know if this is the cause of my problem, nor do I know how to repair the service registration. I suspect this will impair my upgrade to the final Windows 10 build on Wednesday.
We're basically done after about, 30+ tries, but all of a sudden, I CRASH :C. The problems are happening after Windows 10, I think something is screwing around with my GPU or my GPU driver. My games in general actually have been pretty unstable, like Witcher 3 etc. I don't think it's a driver issue because i clean re-installed it yesterday.

I'm trying to roll back to the OEM Win 7 on this machine. On the setting page "Updates & security" the options under "recovery" did NOT include rolling back to Win 7. The only choice was to roll back to the previous build. I thought perhaps I would have to work my way back to 7 build, by build. I started out with 10041, then 10130, then 10240. I clicked the "Back to previous build, hoping. Well, it went back to 10130 no problem. However, that is it. Going the Setting, Updates& Security route within this roll back of 10130 there is no way to keep going back to finally get back to Win 7.
View 4 RepliesI tried updating to the latest build but when my computer restarts and turns back on, it gave me this error.
