Feb 23, 2016I have set Windows Media Player as the default player for .mp3but have a problem that although WMP is on the start menu when I double clickon it or its shortcut it will just flicker and not load.I have tried different ways to play the .mp3 files by rightclicking on a file and open it but get an error message as shown below.How can I get WMP to load as it seems to be corrupted?

Aug 1, 2015Since I've upgraded to Windows 10, iTunes keeps loading on startup. I looked in the task manager under Startup, and disabled iTunesHelper. I don't see any other apps listed under Startup that are associated with iTunes or any other apple software.
Am I missing something? It's a little annoying having iTunes loading on startup.
Apps :: ITunes Auto Loading At Startup
Aug 6, 2015One of the casualties of my upgrade to Win 10 Home was my iTunes library. Basically, iTunes could no longer find my music, even though it hadn't moved. To cut a long story short, I ended up creating a new library and all was well - or so I thought. Since then, however, every time I boot my PC, iTunes loads at startup, and the curious thing is that there is no reference to the programme in any of the startup folders, nor in Task Managers Start Up list. I also use CCleaner, and that also shows that nothing apple related should be running at startup.
Clearly something is causing iTunes to run? I should add, there are no iPods connected to the PC, and iTunes helper is also disabled via CCleaner.

Aug 10, 2015Why do programs like Paint and Photoshop take FOREVER to load? It's not like my computer slows down as they are loading either. My computer is running well without any issues, but this is still a problem. I was part of the Insider Program and I am up-to-date. Also, the Photos program can't edit any files because of their "file types." This happens to ALL file types.

The circle loading is still moving but the percentage is stuck at 61. I am worried to turn off my PC in case of it being ruined.

Aug 18, 2015I'm installing Windows 10 on new computer for my organization . I try to configure one with fresh install (package of apps like Libreoffice, VLC, etc. for users) and custom desktop describes in this tutorial:
Default User Profile - Customize in Windows 10 - Windows 10 Forums It works fine, in audit mode I install apps, drivers, custom desktop and configure default apps like google chrome for internet browser, adobe reader for pdf files etc. then I run the command line to enter oobe mode generalize. Everything is ok, I continue my install. Then I create new user local account. And when windows starts, I have my custom desktop but default apps are removed (Microsoft Edge replace Chrome, Pdf files are read with Edge, etc.) and Apps Windows like "Weather" or "Actualities" crash .
Apps :: Two Apps Fail To Operate With Pro Installation
Aug 20, 2015So far neither will Microsoft Camera HD3000 or Samsung Magican Rapid Mode operate within my Windows 10 Pro installation. It seems that there is no compatible software or drivers yet available for these apps.
The camera displays an image on the screen but will not snap a photo or do a video.
Magician does list many of the normal functions but shows a red X along side OS thus not allowing rapid mode to be executed for a primary SSD.
Not Loading Many Of The Website
Sep 15, 2015I just installed Windows 10. I'm having problems loading many of the websites I used to visit when I had Windows 8.1 installed. I'm getting the message "There is a problem with this website’s security certificate." with Internet Explorer and Microsoft Edge just shuts down when certain websites are accessed, Wikipedia and pbase.com for example.
Also, Facebook won't display any images or allow me to upload images.
Infinite Loading Screen
Aug 3, 2015When I boot up windows 10 it goes into a loading screen with a purple (my accent color) background and loads forever. This was completely random after a normal restart, it had worked fine up till now.
I made a windows 10 installation disk to acess repair options. Tried every single option on it with no luck (including scf scan, dskchk, and other CMD prompts) every one gives some sort of error or reason for not working, what can I do? I can get the specific error messages for a few methods if needed but it's very time consuming as my usb stick keeps giving an error after a few reboots of messing with command prompts, and I have to redownload windows 10 let it verify and copy over to the drive which is an hour long process.

After installation I enabled the builtin admin account and converted it to Microsoft account successfully but after 1 day the your accounts screen in pc settings showing loading always not the content but the content buttons and links are accessible while screen loading (please see the gif of the error)..
I tried to remove the battery while laptop on and charging but its also not fixed this problem
Websites Not Loading Until Refreshed
Nov 3, 2015I just upgraded from Win 7 to Win 10 on my main machine. Now, most websites will not load until refreshed. On sites that do manage to load, it takes a long time, maybe 10 seconds. I've run all the ipconfig commands and several other suggestions I found on the internet, but nothing has fixed the problem. Also, I run Quickbooks for a non-profit and that program won't update. It times out and gives me a "are you connected to the internet" error message.
I've also tried using IE, Edge, and Maxthon browsers, all with the same problem.

Mar 8, 2016When I restart my PC and get to the Windows loading screen (the one with circle that is spinning) after few seconds a black screens appeares for a moment and after that once again I see the spinning circle (loading screen). But this time the circle is lagging. After that I see wait a moment text and aftert that a I normally get to the Windows but it just simply takes a while. This happened to me out of nowhere (it used to boot normally until yesterday). I reinstalled OS and I have got still the same problem. I chcecked my HDD with HDD regenerator and it showed no bad sectors or delays.

Dec 18, 2015Whenever I turn my computer on I am greeted with my motherboard screen and then white spinning dots on a blue screen, and my screen flicks black every minute or so. There is nothing else I can do. I contacted Windows support and they said my system was updating and it should be done in an hour. After the system has been "updating" the whole night it is still doing the same this. Before I had this problem the last thing I did was copy my main HD to a larger SSHD.
The copy needed to restart my PC, and it did. After that when I turned on my computer I would log in to a flickering screen, and other times a black screen. I looked at tutorials to fix it but nothing worked, so I attempted a system refresh. I think that is what may be causing this blue loading screen and am stuck at this point, ctrl+alt+del does nothing. I have a backup on my external drive so if somehow a refresh could be achieved it wouldn't be a problem.
Performance :: Slow Web Page Loading
Feb 23, 2016Normally when i use the net all is fine. Noticed today when i run a video convertor programme in the background the loading of web pages is extremely slow. Stop Freemake video convertor and page loading is normal speed. I assumed it was memory, did memtest and no errors found. CPU monitor sits on 100%. Had similar problem with Villisoft last week. Time for a new CPU methinks but having said that would 100% cpu usage slow down webpage loading to that degree.

Aug 6, 2015I need to have IE11 available for some specific hardware device control software (which does not work in Chrome, Firefox, etc; rubbish I know, but I'm stuck with it). However even thought the .exe file was still present after I upgraded to Win10, it wouldn't load, nothing happens when I try to run it. I removed IE via the Win10 Control Panel with the idea of reinstalling it, but the regular IE11 standalone installer downloaded from the Microsoft website says it can't install as IE is already present. The webpage auto-installer says it can only install on a Windows machine. How I can force a reinstall?

Jul 31, 2015Since I updated to windows 10 from windows 7 I have been getting a weird shutdown that happens at the windows 10 loading screen. My computer will just shut off from there. But if I try again a second time it loads without issue and I am able to do intensive tasks. It also does not happen when i restart the computer only after shutting down. My temperatures on my gpu, cpu and gpu are normal. What could be causing this. Never had these issues with windows 7.

Slow Loading Desktop And Freezing
Oct 1, 2015So for the past month I been having issues with logging in my computer. It would load my desktop slowly or freeze if I leave it the I see the mouse with the loading icon and it will load for an hour. I try restarting multi times. I also went into safe mode and it loads fine I disabled all my auto start up programs and tried logging in normally and still takes the same amount of time. This hasn't happened since a month or two ago.. I also tried turning off the fast boot thing.Also I want to try reinstalling windows ten how can I go about doing so if I don't own the disc becasue the upgrade offer. I can only use my pc in safe mode as its not starting up correctly.
