I have the hp stream 11 and i installed it before and it works great but takes a lot of space... i was told i had to reinstall it using wimboot and it will free up almost 10GB of space... How to do this?

This is a laptop, not touchscreen so all I can do is stare at the screen and get madder and madder at myself for attempting to upgrade.
View 2 RepliesMy HP notebook was working perfectly with windows 8.1. After upgrading to windows 10 it is not shutting down properly. Power and wireless buttons are still glowing and battery is also consuming. I need to press the power button at least for 4 seconds in order to shutdown completely .

Windows 10 Core (10.0.10240.16590) my computer crashed brings up Recovery file: BCD Error code: Oxc0000034 then goes to Aptio setup utility screen. i signed in as administrator and added passwords now i just need to know what i need to do from here.
So since I installed windows 10,I've had issues. I have an AMD APU.
My laptop overheats when installing a new build. It runs fine while actually using it,but upgrades overheat.
Installing from USB,has no heats issues. But installing via windows update usually shuts off my PC and upgrade fails.
Not sure what the issue is. It also overheats when I do a clean install. I have to point a fan at the laptop to cool it down.
The laptop cools down,once I install chipset drivers. Without me manually cooling it,the laptop shuts off before the software installs.
It last 1-5 minutes without drivers and shuts off. Never had these issues before. Might get a cooling fan, that should work.
My Samsung Activ9 came with windows 8 preinstalled, to upgrade it to 8.1 I had to manually install every windows update by hand and some had to be installed before the others, so hundreds of individual updates had to be done which took me all day.
I upgraded to windows 8.1 eventually and thought 'excellent, no more manually installing updates as recovering my system would mean starting with a fresh copy of windows 8.1 right? Nope, i few months ago I had need to recover my notebook to factory defaults and when it was finished it booted into.. yep, windows 8, so again I had to do the individual update thingy.
Will this upgrade to windows 10 mean that should the worst happen and I need to factory reset again, that windows 10 will be the default OS?
I decided I will make my notebook laptop into a gaming PC. Before you think; Laptop.. Gaming PC? It is a beast of a laptop and it has beaten many desktops at video games, applications ect. One of the main problems I have with this laptop is that it is amazing but when it gets to a certain point it just stops performing as well as it should, I checked task manager and the Ram was pretty low, the CPU was pretty low, the Ethernet connection was fine but the Hard Disk Performance is sky high (Even when I am doing totally nothing. Bearing in mind the read speed was 6.5mb/s and the Write speed was going under 135Kb/s (135Kb Max). So I decided I needed to get an SSD but how to install one or transfer my laptop data to an SSD.

I did use Winrar to extract the iTunes .exe file to a folder and there I got the appleaplicationsupport.exe that I needed to install. But when trying to install it, this error pops:
That translates as "Error applying transforms. Verify that the specified transform paths are valid.".
I don't know what to do about it, nothing that I found on Google seems to work either.
I am using a HP laptop (Probook 4530s) and I want a completely fresh install removing all there little annoying partitions and applications. I would just refresh but I am wondering if that would work, as the bios is liked to HP softwareWhat would happen with the bios?
View 1 RepliesMy computer is only a month old and I am starting to have errors after a few hours of the computer running regardless of what I have been doing. It gets as bad as not being able to open games at all. It's only after 3 or 4 hours of it running though. I noticed adobe flash player will stop working then I won't be able to stream music then games will freeze when you open them. Once I do a restart everything works perfectly again.

Temps are mostly below 160 other than 1 spot on the motherboard that reaches 220f during gaming. It doesn't get that hot when I am using Microsoft Word but it still slows down after a while.Temps checked with a hardware monitoring program. (Hwmonitor I think)
Just upgraded to win 10 but cant find how to get windows to bitstream dolby sounds to my amp? media player classic still works fine and the amp shows dolby digital or dts ma etc when playing suitable films. but the amp only shows pcm when using windows media player, even the dolby demo for edge only shows pcm. Same issue with the netflix app, only pcm when dolby + soundtrack is selected?

When Microsoft allowed streaming from OneDrive, I uploaded my entire music collection and started using this service. Everything worked great on Win8.1 with Xbox Music. Now on Groove I can only see 24 (out of 500+) when I use the 'On OneDrive' filter. There's nothing special about these albums, so I don't know why it's only limited to these.
I wonder if it has anything to do with this ridiculous policy of no longer allowing placeholders in OneDrive and forcing people to do selective sync? I can't sync my music folder locally as I don't have enough space on my hard disk (that's the whole point of cloud storage.....)
My sister has an xbox one and I want to stream games to my win 10 pc, the first time I did it on another pc, my sister's account took over my pc account and I was really mad, how can I stream xbox games without her account taking over? Or can I change the email address of the xbox account?

View 1 RepliesI thought it would be nice to have Windows 10 on my laptop too, but the touchpad and Start menu + Search didn't work, so I thought I'd try and reset Windows 10. That failed, and now I'm completely unable to get the bootloader working. My issue is that I've tried installing Windows 10 ISO using my USB and both Microsoft's program and Rufus. The only USB I can get my HP Stream 11 to recognize, is a Windows 8.1 USB I created with Microsoft's other program that allows you to reinstall Windows 8.1 using your code, but I'm not sure I have one of those anywhere. What could I be doing wrong?
View 5 RepliesI've connected my iPhone 5 to my HP ZBook 15 on windows 10 via bluetooth but i cant stream music like i used to on win 7, even on windows 7 it worked in the beginning and then i reinstalled win 7 and installed drivers from cd (that came with pc) cause i had a virus, then when i reinstalled it won't work... a while after i installed windows 10 and here i am...i searched bluetooth on sys info and here's the result:

When I stream news or video or try an go to Microsoft support it reboots with this funky aurrrrp sound and them saying they are checking for error messages. 2 days of this is enough. When is this testing of 10 going to end?
I will pull the memory and check. Not the only message in 2 days, though.

View 1 RepliesI produce a LIVE STREAM video show online every Saturday via youtube and google hangout. I am using the windows 10 operating system. Here lately every show that I do, once it is finished and I go to watch it, my program plays back....choppy and pixelated. My viewers are watching it LIVE and they tell me that it is doing the same thing LIVE, it is coming across extremely distorted. I have checked my internet speed with my ISP. They actually came out to my place and said there is nothing wrong with my internet upload or download speed. I have 40 mbps down, and 5 mbps up. So I am not sure what else to check.
