View 1 RepliesI m using dell inspiron 14, and upgraded to windows 10. Now my laptop keeps restarting giving me internal power error. I reached the troubleshooting part where I clicked on startup settings.when I click restart there..it restarts with blue screen without giving me safe mode option.
View 2 RepliesI have a relatively new Dell Inspiron 7000 series (7548). Installed Windows 10 and about 15 seconds after logging in I keep getting an error message about an internal power failure. What an absolute f#$% up. I have never had a problem with the laptop. I tried the Restore System Point option but it says that there aren't any system points saved.
View 9 RepliesI upgraded to Windows 10 everything seems to run fine but system will not restart from the restart selection on the start menu. Windows update will not reboot automatically either. System looks like it is going to reboot, everything shuts down but as system trys to restart everything freezes. Only way around it is to do a hard shutdown by holding the power button. Updated graphics card, hard drive and bios but still no luck.
View 1 RepliesWhen I am viewing webpages with video's playing I am getting the odd BSD with the Video scheduler internal error, it happens roughly every other day but yesterday it happened twice.
My video card is a Gigabyte GeForce GTX 660 2GB PCI-Express 3.0 HDMI OC, my motherboard and CPU are now 7 years old and well over due renewing which I plan to do next year, my video driver is up to date as are other drivers except some of the motherboard drivers which are no longer available.
I have attached my dump files as per the sticky ....
I experienced a BSOD in win 10 64bit Home, my mouse started to lag then completely lagged and after a few seconds a BSOD with mention to search for Video Scheduler Internal Error. My pc is fully up to date. My gpu is MSI GTX 760 2GB. Is there something wrong with my gpu?
View 6 RepliesSince installing Win 10 my computer will restart on its own if the electrical power "blips" or I unplug the unit and plug it back in. It did not happen when I had Win 7.
I also have to manually restart the system twice to get past the black screen with the blue window. If I go to safe mode using msconfig to change boot method I usually do not have the problem. But everything seems to slow down.
Laptop display was turned off i.e. on screen saver, turned it on, after a few minutes screen went black, limited mouse movement and then BSOD. Please see attached minidump information.

I have a custom built PC with Windows 10 Home x64-bit and I constantly get crashes. Sometimes I can be on for 5 minutes then it crashes, sometimes an hour. Sometimes there will be a completely white screen, a colorful screen with many-mini squares, and sometimes BSOD video_scheduler_internal_error. I have tried many, many things and nothing works.

After I upgraded to Win 10, Audacity came up with the error message, 'Internal PortAudio error' Or something like that, and the microphone won't work.
View 1 RepliesI upgraded to Windows 10 from 7. Since the update I've run into an issue where, after I've been using my computer for a while and have done a few sleep/wake cycles, I won't be able to put my computer to sleep with the physical power button. It wakes up just fine with the power button. Restarting my computer temporarily resolves the issue.
View 9 RepliesMy computer seems to run fine but whenever I shut it down or restart it the screen goes black for about 10 minutes and then I get a blue screen with a driver power state failure. The system files are attached.

View 7 RepliesSo, after having this problem for a few months I decided it was time i asked. Whenever I restart my pc for any reason, it just gets stuck on the black screen right before power off. Everything else still works fine, even when I update I just wait a few minutes then hard reset. But this is getting annoying especially when I have the updates that need multiple restarts because I have to sit there and watch it.
View 1 RepliesEvery time I try to put put my laptop to sleep, hibernate, restart it or shutdown, it stalls for about 10 minutes before giving me a Driver Power State Failure.
Having installed "WhoCrashed" and "Windbg", I was able to determine it was related to "ntkrnlmp.exe", "ndis.sys", "raspppoe.sys" and a vpn driver at one point or another. I "believe" I managed to uninstall the offending vpn driver but of course still overall have the same issue.
This appeared to occur while trying to do a windows update last week but I can't be sure. I presume, there is a out of date or corrupt driver but just can't seem to determine which one.
I go to shut down the system screen goes off as if windows 10 has shut down but power is still to all systems fans are running all lights are on...... What the heck is going on and I've changed the power supply too.
View 1 RepliesI upgrade my system with new motherboard Gigabyte gaming 5. All other parts used before and works fine. And now forks everything accept when I restart my computer then it shows no bootable device. But if I shut down it and start up manually then it works. How to fix that? I have windows 10
View 1 RepliesMy laptop (as listed in system specs) will not power up and if it does it says no operating system.
View 2 RepliesWin 10 Home.Upon 'restart', system freezes part way through shutdown. If I use the "Slide" feature it will shut down ok.Have already tried sfc/scannow; found corrupt files but was unable to fix. Files don't appear to be critical.
View 5 RepliesI have dual booting setup on my pc my main system and my development system but to get the development system my computer first boots the main one then asks me which os i would if the main one it goes right to as it already loaded but if it is the development system it will restart and load that, so my pc has to boot twice. Is there a way from the main system some how i can restart straight to the other one. Both os are windows.
View 1 RepliesOn my system, I have Automatically Restart set in the system failure but when it BSOD's, it says that the system will restart after the dump but it appears it just stays at the blue screen without restarting even after an hour on atleast 3 occasions since I've upgraded to Win10 from Win7 Home Premium on August 11, 2015, the system is able to restart and shutdown normally.
View 9 RepliesSince building my new Desktop PC and installing Windows 10 Pro I have had a rather worrying issue, it has happened about 3 times since January. On each occasion I am doing simple things with the PC nothing taxing on the CPU etc... Suddenly I go to move the mouse and it will not move I assume the mouse is disconnected, but my keyboard does not produce any results either I cant be USB related as the keyboard is a PS/2 port connection.
What is stranger still is that the reset button the the PC tower does nothing, I have to resort to holding the power button down until the whole device shuts off. The reset button does work though normally it only stop functioning when I stumble across this issue. I hate restarting the PC like this because I am adamant it is not good for the lifespan/integrity of the SSD.
My PC specs are:
Intel Core i7 6700K (I do not over clock)
Gigabyte GA-Z170 - Gaming 5 Eu Rv 1.0
Corsair Vengance LPX 4x8gb Configured RAM
Samsung SSd 850 Pro - (OS Drive)
Windows 10 Pro
I have 2 monitors on my system. When the system comes up from power saving mode (unsure if in true sleep mode but user password is required) the task bar on the primary monitor is missing. The secondary monitor has it but not primary touch screen. I've tried various things like toggling auto hide, etc, to no avail but restarting brings it back.
View 2 RepliesWhenever booting my pc I get a "operating system wasn't found error". I've checked to make sure my hard drive was set to the boot drive and I've tried reinstalling but that doesn't work either.
View 1 RepliesI have a lenovo system that can't find the system disk ... Ctrl alt delete only gets me a blank screen and any key gets me the same error message....
View 3 RepliesI tried to reset my laptop. In the process of resetting it shut down due to overheating. When I turn it back on, the logo appears but no loading bar shows up. It hangs there for a few seconds and then it restarts and keeps cycling over like that. I tried to do a hard reset by taking out the battery and plug, then holding the power button for 30 seconds. I tried doing a system restore. I also tried removing the ram to see if that would work but no luck.
