Used the PC as I would normally do and shut it down last night. Recently installed the latest update for Win 10 as I recall. Otherwise no new changes or installation to the system.
So now when I switched it on its showing Automatic Startup Repair and it diagnose the PC but fails every time and shows a blue screen of startup repair where I can:-
- reset PC (reinstall but this fails at 36%)
- system restore or image restore ( but can't use either)
- startup repair (doesn't work either)
- command prompt (tried sfc/scannow and they won't allow me to do so unless I restart but keeps getting same error.
Tried unplugging the hard disc etc but same old loop again.
BSOD :: Infinite Flashing Blue Screen On Startup

A Gigabyte Z97X Gaming G1 Motherboard
An Intel i7 4790K CPU
16 GB DDR4 Patriot Memory sticks
Samsung EVO 240GB SSD
Nvidia 256 GB Graphics card
Corsair CX750 Power supply
I immediately bought Windows 10 for it, and for the most part the computer worked fine the last few months. Every once in a while I would get a "Driver Stopped Working but has Recovered" that messed up the Windows control bar and required a restart to fix, but that stopped happening eventually with updates. I still got BSoD's from time to time, including "faulty hardware corrupted page."
Today I got a BSoD when I was logging in called "DPC Watchdog Violation," which I had seen before I think so I figured it would just restart and be fine. However, now I cannot restart the computer, because after the Gigabyte motherboard logo, all I get is a blue screen that flashes on and off quickly. It is just a blue screen, sometimes with a dot in the middle. No matter what I cannot get past this infinite flashing screen, even in safe mode. Commands from the keyboard do nothing once I reach this screen although I can the mouse around. I can enter the special Windows control menu before getting to the flashing blue screen, but nothing has worked from there
Things I've tried:
-Disabling restart after BSoD -- no effect
-Restoring system image -- error, then no effect
-Resetting Windows -- no effect (although I've lost all my applications now)
-Removing my graphics card and plugging my monitor directly into the motherboard -- no effect
-Updating BIOS -- no effect
Currently trying to figure out something I can do in the registry. My last option is completely redownloading Windows 10 without saving files, but I'm not confident that will work given everything else I've tried.
Hanging On Blue Startup Screen Endless Spinning Dots
Feb 24, 2016I returned home from work today to find that my computer won't boot. Great, it's going to one of those weeks... After the bios screen and the windows 10 logo, the computer hangs on the following screen, blue background with the spinning white dots. It looks like it's trying to log in, but it gets stuck. The dots never freeze, or at least not in the hour or two I've left it- it just keeps spinning and trying to log in. Before I go further, I'll give you some specs:
Homebuilt Windows 10 desktop, up to date (upgraded from w7 months ago)
Gigabyte z87x ud3h mobo
Haswell i5-4670k
Nvidia 780ti
8gb ram
Ok, where was I. The strange part about this is that everything was working fine yesterday, and I didn't really do anything since then. I upgraded from W 7 to 10 months ago and it's been working fine. There were no windows updates yesterday (Feb 22nd), and I didn't install any other driver or system updates. In fact the only things I did install were the Steam VR test and a game on steam. There's nothing else I can think of that has changed since it was last working.
Now, onto what I've tried. I'm at a bit of an impasse here because I can't really get the computer to do anything. Booting into bios works, but that's about it. I can't get into safe mode (Due to W10, F8 doesn't work, can't restart into it from desktop, or from login screen). I've messed around with cables inside the tower, plugged and unplugged hard drives. In the course of restarting many times, I got a "bios corrupt" error, after which it started recovering into the secondary bios (losing all my OC settings and other bios settings). But the problem persisted. I then tried updating my bios, but I keep getting "invalid file" messages when I try to update from bios/Qflash. I also don't not have a W10 recovery stick (which I suppose I should have had around? I can't just download this somewhere huh?).
Blue Screen Error Bad System Config Info On Startup
Mar 14, 2016I built my very first PC in the weekend. Everything was working fine, but after a restart, I had an error message saying something along the lines of "Windows couldn't start". I then had several options where I ended up choosing something like "Start Windows from a version that worked" which erased like half of my programs and many of my drivers. I then proceeded to reset the computer entirely and restarted.
Now, the computer is working again (as it were before) and I've installed everything again, including all the drivers (I hope). However, when I restart the computer, I get a blue screen that says: "Your PC ran into a problem and needs to restart. We're just collecting some error info, and then we'll start for you. If you'd like to know more, you can search online later for this error: BAD_SYSTEM_CONFIG_INFO. It then restarts and works perfectly. This only happens every approx. third restart, the other times, it boots just fine.
I bought Windows 10 Home on a USB which I used to install on my new SSD. All the drivers should be up to date. What to do?

Lenovo Desktop Locked Up And Rebooted - Blue Screen At Startup

It is in a restart loop and when I try to turn it on the Windows 10 logo appears but then a blue screen appears saying "Your PC ran into a problem and needs to restart. Oct 10, 2015i got my new Benq 2411z and its really nice, configured everything.But my problem is the following:
The monitor does not show the windows startup anymore, so i cannot see windows loading and cant access bios menu at start.
Somehow in device manager there is a non-pnp monitor listed which is listed as standard, if i uninstall or deactivate it, it does not affect my problem and its back after restart.
Furthermore i cant disconnect this non existing monitor via windows control panel.
I need to set the benq monitor (shown as monitor 2) as main monitor in windows 10 settings, but it does not change anything about my problem with the start up.
When i start the computer the displays says: "no device found"
When the computer booted and is finally on desktop it says: "input: dvi" and the desktop shows
Moreover my CCleaner says i have "microsoft basic display driver", but i have got a gtx980..
Browser/Email :: How To Get Rid Of Icon (smiley Face) On Tool Bar
Jan 14, 2016I have a strange Icon (smiley face) on tool bar. How do I get rid of it? Attached is a screen shot of the icon. I think it came from some freeware that I installed. I don't know which one. I uninstalled the 'page maximum' from JiiSoft.com. I thought that's where it came from, but it's still there. I user Revo to uninstall it so I should have gotten all parts of it. I have emailed JiiSoft several times asking about the icon, but have not received a response.
Now IE 11 is showing pages crazy. The page is all over the place. See the example of the router I was interested in. I uninstalled IE 11 (via check box) and then I rechecked it in manage software (Control Panel/Programs and Features/Turn Windows Features on or off)
From what I have read, you cannot entirely reinstall IE because it is part of Windows 10 operating system.
Can't Login / Flashing Between Lock Screen And Blue Screen
Aug 12, 2015I upgraded from Windows 8 to 10 without a hitch an hour ago and kept all of my personal files and apps. I set up my start menu and everything was working fine, but I wanted to change the image on the logon screen (or whatever you call the screen in between the lock screen and the screen where you enter your PIN/info). So I took a risk and downloaded the 3rd party app here:
[URL] and uploaded an image and hit apply. Of course right after doing that I went to lock my PC to see if it worked, and as you can tell... it didn't.
I've tried rebooting and it hasn't worked. It's just very rapidly flashing between a blue screen w/ a loading circle and my lock screen image.
Having Blue Screen With Error
Jul 31, 2015just recently i installed windows 10 (clean install) on my built desktop. At first it was fine installing programs etc. Then not sure what i installed last or what happened during an installation but now when i try to install a program like Nivida Graphics Card Driver the blue screen error comes up. It never fails, even if i try and install skype it also causes the problem. I originally had the Nvidia G experience installed but i read online that this might be causing the problem so i uninstalled successfully but it is still happening.

Jan 14, 2016I had a computer man in to install Windows 10 and remove Windows 7 and I wish I had never done it. I can be writing away and then all of a sudden it freezes and comes up with a couple of pop ups before waking up again. Occasionally the computer freezes solid and I have to manually switch it off. I have the computer man coming again tomorrow which will cost me more money but I'm getting close to just giving up and buying an Apple.

Nov 12, 2015I upgraded my Toshiba laptop automatically from 8.1 to 10 when the software came out (months ago) - have had no issues with it. Then I was using my laptop then flashed blue and turned off. It now comes up with with recovery - your pc/device needs to be repaired .. Due to critical system driver missing or corrupted (see image) - I'm able to access the recovery settings - have tried refresh, system restore, automatic repair, nothing works and seems to get worse.
I've searched for the last day forums and most people seem to have boot/bcd errors and so don't work for this problem. I have a lot of personal files/photos that haven't been backed up for about a month and want to save them! I've downloaded the Windows 10 iso to a usb - but have only get semi regular access to a Mac so unsure if it's bootable.

Flashing Blue Screen On Start Up?
Feb 6, 2016My computer has always been fine, until one day i was getting pop ups and redirected randomly, i notice a strange file called "techsmart computer" and was trying to delete it but couldn't so i wanted to go into safe mode and forcibly remove it, i open the start up menu simply check safe mode only and restarted, ever since all i see is the black screen with it loading with nothing else no repair, error message just it loading then it goes to the login screen the blue one and for some strange reason it is flickering as it its turning on/off and its a never ending load! if i press the power button its shutting down and it stops flickering, i searched online for solutions and nothing relevant and of the possible solutions i cant do because i can never get into the login screen, this is not a instillation issue or driver or graphics card, etc... started ever since i checked the safe mode, i want to mention i'm writing this using a different computer, also don't know if its a 32 or 64 bit.

Oct 3, 2015Although normally random, the freeze (to which this dump file is related) happened whilst listening to music in firefox, using teamspeak 3 and playing guild wars 2, after 2 hours with no issues.I have run memtest86 in multiple memory configs, only to receive under 10 errors in test 13 which I understand is OK.The errors are systematic for my type of memory (all sticks show similar errors in test 13 regardless of memory slot).

Nvidia Driver Blue Screen?
Jan 10, 2016So I'm on Windows 10 Pro, and a while back before I reset Windows and am where I am now, anything Minecraft related would crash as soon as it finished loading. So I'd open up a modpack or just plain Minecraft and as soon as it got to the title screen, boom, blue screen (Page fault in non paged area) so I looked everywhere for answers but none of them worked. Ultimately I just reset my PC (while keeping files if it makes a difference). So after installing my programs again Minecraft was no longer an issue, it worked as expected. Fast forward to today.
I open up Nvidia Geforce Experience to use Shadowplay, I click on Shadowplay, flip the on switch, and when I click the "Allow Desktop Capture" button, Bam same exact blue screen as before. I have tested both my RAM and SSD (windows memtest and Samsung magician's test for my 850 Evo) I don't know what is causing it anymore, I could test and see if the bluescreen occurs while on my integrated graphics or something. (Not sure if Geforce Experience would even open without my card though.
