I have 5 email addresses. When I click on Accounts in the Mail Tile I have to click on each account to find unread mail. Isn't there a way to show all email accounts in one pane with unread mail noted or do you simply have to work your way through all five "Accounts".
View 4 RepliesDISM commands, SFC , rebuilding cache etc etc etc i dont know what else to try besides a complete wipe and thats not gonna happen. Machine runs just fine otherwise or at least the other bugs this shitty beta OS has do not concern me as much at the moment.

View 4 RepliesI am running Windows 10 Build 10130 and none of the apps listed above will launch from the start tile menu or the all apps list. It appears that most of the apps that came with Win 10 won't launch but the apps that I pinned to the start menu work fine. Since I rarely used these apps I don't know how long this problem has been going on. I restored back to an earlier restore point but the problem is still there. I know it is something I screwed up but I can't figure it out.
View 9 RepliesWhy the default for most folders and subfolders is the Icon view and why its so hard change that view to something else permanently?
For instance My Pictures, you can right click My Pictures / customize / "optimize this folder for general items" which will change the view to Details, but only temporarily. This also applies to the Desktop. You can create a folder on your desktop, inside create a sub-folder and put some files inside that. You'll notice the default view for the sub-folder will always be the Icon view. Now anyone that's on computers a lot will know that the Icon view when dealing with a lot of files is just a big jumbled mess, I always use the Detailed view, for everything.
It also seems to me they never stay the same. I'll go to My Documents one day and it will be randomly changed back to the Icon view, I can't be the only person who has noticed this. And why there no master setting to set all the folders on your computer to one view, permanently.
When I double click to open a folder I get an extra pane on the right side that is useless to me and takes up real-estate.
How to I change the view options to eliminate that extra pane.
Attached are 2 images - one showing the extra pane, and the other showing how I'd like my folder views displayed.
So, instead of using my browser for my emails I set them up in Windows Mail, but although it will show all the folders it won't show anything in my inboxes. I've tried syncing but to no avail.

I have been unable to open the money tile since converting to Windows 10 (it opened once for a day and then stopped). I click on the tile and the program appears in the start line but it won't open.
View 3 Repliesmy startmenu in Windows 10 (build 10130).At the moment i have in my startmenu a maximum of 3 (normal sized) tiles in a row. But I would like to have 4 tiles in a row.
I know that this is possible because i had it a little time before in the same build. But after a little crash and a recovery of the system it changed to a 3tile menu.
Today i unistalled a program i no longer wanted to use but to tile remained on the start menu and it won't unpin or delete.

View 4 RepliesWin10 update and the start menu icons. I can change the colour but only for all of them to one colour, but can I change individual ones? And/Or better still can I make the small icon in the middle of them occupy the whole tile. I notice some tiles are only the brand icon whilst others have my single chosen colour as a border round a small brand icon. I find it really hard to identify individual tiles in the mass of a single colour. What I would really really really like to do is to see the brand icons be the full size of the tile.

I have unpinned many of the tiles on the start menu and moved others around so that I have only one row of tiles and I would like to make the column narrower, but I haven't been able to. I made the double arrows show on the right side, and I click and hold the arrows to move it to the left, but nothing happens. Am I missing something?
I really like how Microsoft combined the old start menu with the new Metro style tiles. There is only one problem though: How do I even change the color for a single individual tile? I know I can change the color of every tile, but how about only one?
