Aug 9, 2015I guess that'll be called "exporting" the Bookmarks file ? Under Windows 10.
Anyway, I need to have a copy of my favorite websites, o bookmarks, on a pendrive, to use on other computers.

Feb 10, 2016I install yesterday xmark for IE and I merge bookmarks from both browsers : firefox-explorer. Can I restore original bookmarks of explorer? Also I work to a second pc with win 10. Some how appears and in IE 11 some bookmarks that I try to delete but after restart appears again. I try to delete with right click or delete the folder of favourite in my pc but every time reappears.

Yes, did create system image but did not preserve C:users (-> U:) *. Even the old folder no longer had my bookmarks, and moving the old passwd and master key file did not allow Moz to figure it out.**
* I don't want users on my SSD drive -- I add/delete stuff WAYYY too often, so it sits on a spinny drive and is connected via a junction point.
** electronic god(desse)s for even a 7-month-old backup, so I didn't lose that much in terms of moz config.

Sep 16, 2015When I go to one of those sites that tells you weather the site is up or down, it states its up, so the problem must be at my end. Ran virus scan. Did one of those ip / dns flush. All other sites work just fine. No other issues. Windows 10. Generally use Firefox, but I tried IE also, same result.

Nov 2, 2015I'm not sure what to do. I ran a few cleanup programs. adwcleaner, ccleaner, etc and opened up edge and all the bookmarks were gone. But also to add I imported Google Bookmarks from my phone into the bookmarks also. So I had all my bookmarks in one place. But the Edge bookmarks were only saved on Edge and I can't remember those important websites I need.

Oct 26, 2015I like to add an Icon to my desktop for sites that I frequently use. Now I only know how (when I am on the site that I want to add) by clicking the "Favorite" star at the top right of my screen that opens a new window where I can create a new folder which I name. Then I have to go to file explorer and search for the new folder that I created. When the search function finds the new file I click and drag the file to my desktop. Now my icon for this favorite site is on my desktop for use. This seems like a lot to do for this feature. There must be a simpler way to do this?

Sep 30, 2015I did upgrade to windows 10 from windows 8.1 but found that my favourate games would not run on full screen but only in a window.... (X2 the Treat, X3 games....)
Did find a few anoying problems with the start menu but can see there would be improvment so could live with it.
But the fullscreen problem drove me mad so reverted back to 8.1.
Have microsoft solved this problem yet..?
Or should I continue to stay on 8.1...?

Dec 3, 2015Using Win10 x64 with IE11, and after the latest major update(TH2) immediately I noticed that whenever I save anything in "fav bar" it now saves and the icon appears from left-hand side. Earlier any saves I did the icons started from right-side/far end side of the fav. bar.
So, is there a way I can revert so tht new saved icons get saved on right-side of the bar?
No Pictures On Websites
Aug 24, 2015Since upgrading to Windows 10, I have found are no pictures on the Amazon UK web site ( and Amazon.com). only icons with" x "where there normally pictures normally are. This applies equally whether using Chrome, Edge or Firefox. I have explored "settings" but cannot find anything that would preclude images being shown, My netbook using Windows 7 does not have any problems displaying the images.

Nov 3, 2015I just upgraded from Win 7 to Win 10 on my main machine. Now, most websites will not load until refreshed. On sites that do manage to load, it takes a long time, maybe 10 seconds. I've run all the ipconfig commands and several other suggestions I found on the internet, but nothing has fixed the problem. Also, I run Quickbooks for a non-profit and that program won't update. It times out and gives me a "are you connected to the internet" error message.
I've also tried using IE, Edge, and Maxthon browsers, all with the same problem.
Keeping Several Websites Open

Ebay opened OK but this website disappeared and so it seems to happen in most cases. How do I keep several websites open without having to reload them?

Sep 23, 2015Am I right in thinking that after upgrading from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10, I should be able to make a bootable USB including a system image without having to copy install.wim from the downloaded media, placing it on the C: partition and setting the appropriate entry in ReagentC?
As I can only make such a bootable USB after performing the above steps, does this mean that if I subsequently delete the install.wim and ReagentC entry, I will not be able to effect a recovery from the hard drive alone?
Recovery media seems to be fussy about the type of flash drive I use. I can make the full recovery drive including the system image on a Sandisk Cruzer Blade, but if instead I try using a Sandisk Cruzer Edge of the same size, I can only make a boot USB without the image. Otherwise I get the message 'We can't create the recovery drive. A problem occurred while creating the recovery drive'. Why is this?
Can't See Hebrew On Some Websites On Chrome
Aug 15, 2015I have installed Windows 10 EN version. However, I can't see Hebrew fonts on some common websites such as Yahoo and Dropbox . Effectively, this means I cannot use Windows 10 to replace Win 7. And therefore I did not install Windows 10 on my other PC's.

Sep 17, 2015Ever since I've upgraded from windows 7 to windows 10 I've had issues using remote desktop connection, always giving me an error that said:
Remote Desktop cannot find the computer xxx. this might mean that xxx doesn't belong to the specific network
I know that's the right computer name (and user credentials). When I try to ping it in CMD I get the same error. It's not only using remote desktop though, I can't ping anything. Google/yahoo won't ping, nor tracert.
Websites Flashing While Trying To Scroll
Mar 29, 2016I have been having some issues browsing the web recently on my computer. I'll be looking at a website and scroll down and the website starts to flash white and whatever was there before about 3-5 times, very fast, before returning to the top of the webpage.
I haven't noticed any patterns in it's behavior, it can happen on all sites but doesn't happen 100% of the time. I tried using my other monitor (in case that it was bugging) and tried replacing the mouse (it happens when I scroll) but no luck with either. I wasn't sure whether to put this in Windows 10 or networking.

Oct 2, 2015Suddenly a couple of days ago while looking through Youtube, I suddenly had a blue screen of death. PC has never been the same since! System Restore and Reset your PC both fail.Also on Chrome I cannot access any https websites, on Edge I cannot access any websites, plus the latest Windows Update (ending in 266) fails. Kaspersky seems to update okay but Malwarebyte Anti Malware cannot update.
I've Googled my problem and tried various things from Command Line Prompt, most of which fail, and nothing has worked!Is it possible that my C drive is corrupted? If so is it recoverable and how?
