View 1 RepliesI have been running Windows builds for a while now. I am currently running the latest build/ RTM, and it lags quite a lot to be RTM. Scrolling in Edge or Chrome is not smooth most of the time, the cursor lags and skips frames. Modern apps take a lot of time to open, splash screens take a long time. Photoshop and Illustrator are slow. I have a pretty strong computer but it is not behaving like so.Should I clean install Windows 10? Would it fix it? And how do I do it?
View 3 RepliesMy Laptop is Lenovo Y50. All of a sudden , on logging, the screen went blank with a mouse pointer & i couldnt enter password. No Control, alt, Del works. I didnt do any Windows 10 Update. Now the laptop is as good as dead. Only i have to reinstall the OS? There is no other option?
View 3 RepliesAfter upgrading to Windows 10 on my sony laptop my mouse will not come back on the screen after I close my laptop and the computer goes to sleep. I have to restart my laptop after every time my computer goes to sleep to get my mouse back on the screen. Just checked DM and the touchpad drivers are current.
View 4 RepliesEvery 5/10 minutes, my mouse pointer keeps sticking, for around 1 second, then jumps to where it should have been. It's almost as if the pointer isn't actually sticking but the screen isn't updating. This started happening after upgrading to Windows 10.
View 4 RepliesRecently my mouse pointer has been disappearing when the system wakes in Windows 10 Pro. I can still see it highlighting when moving the mouse and the dialog open with a right click. It only comes back if I open the Task Manager or a separate window. Strangely if I manually put the computer to sleep through the power menu this issue does not seem to appear, it only shows when the computer sleeps after the allotted time.
Not sure if this is an issue with Nvidia Drivers or a Windows Update.
Since loading windows 10 then mouse pointer working circle blinks with the can light blinks. Everything seems to work fine it just really bugs me. I went to setting and mouse then to pointer and it it set on the pointer only or top/first on list. this is a 1 month old Asus X550Z that came loaded with 8.1
View 1 RepliesWhen turning on Windows 10 my pointer will not show up for the password phase of startup. If I do get to the desktop, the pointer is either gone or it is frozen. I shut the computer down and after several startups, it will come back on maybe for a few minutes. I have checked the device manager for the mouse. Looked for updated versions. Ran a troubleshooting for it. Nothing says it is wrong. This has only happened with the upgrade to Windows 10. It used to be every so often, now it is daily.
View 1 Repliesusing a hp envy m6 1103tx laptop suddenly two days after installing windows 10 as in the photo th blue circle keeps blinking and i am unable to use right click except on desktop for the refresh also the cpu usage has increased now its always above 30% the problem started when my finger print sensor started working after not working for a short period of time as thefingerprint startde working this probllem popped up
View 2 RepliesThe loading symbol keeps flashing which is effecting what I can do on my computer. For example on Microsoft edge I will be typing and then it will suddenly select the text, so when I do my next letter it deletes everything I have done. It also effects things like drop down menu's or when I left click by going of it so I don't have time to select the option I want.
This does not seem to happen all the time but it currently is and has been since I turned my pc on.
It has only happened since I have downloaded windows 10. I do not have windows 8.1 on my computer as I deleted it so I cant really go back to download it again.
Afther installing the intel chipset driver the pc crashed showed a blue screen with large tex saying that the pc run into a problem and is collecting data. Then it turned off and started booting went past the windows booting logo and than showed a black screen with a mouse pointer that constantly changes between loading and busy... you can move the mouse pointer on the black screen and nothing else... I can't boot the laptop and I don't know what to do
View 1 RepliesI know there is others who have this issue of the flashing blue working circle next to the mouse pointer on the screen. I have read through he forums and tried what I could find but so far no luck getting rid of it.
I upgraded from Windows 7 to 10 - on my Asus sonicmaster laptop and now the flashing blue circle constantly shows up in and on and off state. Like it is trying to load or check something. How to get rid of this?
Often when playing games, either in browser or not, the mouse pointer speed will change by itself. I can go into the mouse setup menu and change it back, but sometimes it then changes again. This happened in Win7 also. The touchpad also sometimes just stops working. This didn't happen in Win7. I gotta say Win10 makes some weird changes to things
View 1 RepliesSwitched on a friend's PC today with Windows 10 fully updated (upgraded from Windows 7 around a month ago), and it loads to where the login screen should be ie after the Windows 10 logo etc, but then the screen is blank. There's no mouse pointer, no login screen, and no monitor error (ie there's a source at least).
I've tried booting in safe mode but I get the exact same problem. Also I've tried just typing in the password to see if the login screen has been moved to a non existent monitor, but that doesn't work either.
MS wireless keyboard 800 and mouse 1000 combo. Latest MS drivers and clean install of windows 10 home. The mouse pointer frequently jerks and jumps and then after a few seconds releases and runs smoothly again. New batteries make no difference. I have moved the little receiver into various USB slots, type 2and3, to no effect.
View 3 RepliesSo I recently gave my laptop an update today. It was fine before but...now it boots to a black screen with just a mouse pointer visible. What should i do?
View 1 RepliesAnyways, I reupgraded to windows 10 lately and when I downloaded CSGO, I noticed that my fps drastically drops after 3-7 minutes of playing. Alt tabbing out and back in fixes it, but it happens again after 3-7 minutes. I don't really have any other games installed right now, so I can't check whether it's in all games or CSGO only. It does seem like it's in all games tho. What could be the problem? Temperatures are normal.
View 9 RepliesRecently my computer has been making my games stutter and lag. This never been a problem as I have 16 GB of RAM and Radeon r9 200 with an AMD 8 core processor. What can I do to fix this inconvenience? I already uninstalled my GPU driver with DDU and reinstalled them. Nothing happened. I noticed this issue the most in Xcom and Bioshock: Infinite
View 1 RepliesThis just started yesterday. Did not have it previously. Now when I boot the blue circle is always by the mouse pointer. Nothing I do gets rid of it.
View 1 RepliesSince the latest update to 10041 I no longer have a cursor, my track pad doesn't work. I'm able to log in use keyboard and then get little further. Will plugging in an external mouse work? I don't have one on hand so wanted to see if that would make a difference before buying one.
View 1 RepliesI use left handed mouse, and swapping left / buttons works OK. I also set the wheel button to be "double click". But the wheel button brings up the context menu instead of double click. If I change to right hand mouse, the wheel button gives double click as expected. how to make the wheel button give double click for left hand mouse?
View 5 RepliesI love Windows 10 but this may be the most annoying feature so far for me and I have no clue how to turn it off. I've searched online and all results concern windows 8/7/vista... and not only were there no real solutions but there is nothing about Windows 10. Never encountered this in Win7 (and never used Win8).
the problem here is I can't see where I'm dropping the files, I use the list view and manage a lot of files this damn icon hides the folders!
The hover-event response time is too fast , and it triggers unwanted events. How can i shut off the hover-event detection or drastically slow it down ?
View 4 RepliesCan't scroll by holding middle mouse and moving mouse in IE in the latest build.
View 2 Repliesi have just reinstalled windows 10 on my SSD and i have some problems with the touchpad. While using both touchpad and mouse, pointer keeps freezing and keeps making "beep" sounds...I reinstalled drivers over and over, and still nothing...Does any1 have an ideea of what's going on with the freaking windows?
View 4 RepliesWe have been using at home wireless logitech keyboard and mouse K270 and M505 respectively. All have worked great and have been using the unifying software. Since upgrading to Windows 10, I have been losing the pointer when my computer wakes from sleep or is unused for a length of time. Whilst I agree this definately looks like a window glitch. I have done all the usual things like refreshing drivers, new batteries etc.
