I've tried drivers from motherboard manufacturer CD, website and intel and some autodetect driver software. I always get the same behavior:
The screen start blinking several time ( black screen) before showing the BSOD then reboot and repeat it self. Even the driver downloaded by windows update have the same impact.
I've managed to install it in safe mode but when i restart in normal mode i get the same behavior.
I've tried 2 different monitors, VGA and HDMI , tried with UEFI on/off => same result.
I've tweaked once the tdr delay to 8 second, but didn't work.

i have a killer e2400 network adaptor over a wired connection on my msi motherboard. Unfortunately, out of the blue it has stopped working. I constantly get the error message "Ethernet doesn't have a valid IP configuration." I have tried a number of things such as stopping and restarting the services in computer management. Nothing appears to work. I know my router works as I'm using it now on another computer.

Once I upgraded I wanted to see if I got any new drivers to install so I deleted my drivers and now once I installed them back I get the error "No AMD Graphics driver is installed or the amd driver is not functioning properly. Please install the AMD Driver appropriate for your AMD hardware." I have dual graphics. They are AMD Mobility radeon HD 4200 series and AMD mobility radeon HD 5000 series. In device manager HD 5000 has error code 43 and HD 4200 says no drivers installed for this device.

It happens most often when I'm playing Hearthstone, but also occasionally elsewhere. Today my computer itself crashed due to this for the first time, giving me an error message that I don't remember. When I'm playing Hearthstone, it sometimes happens every 5 seconds or so, being frozen for about 5-10 seconds. My computer prompted me to upgrade to Windows 10, saying it was compatible, so I don't understand why this is happening.

I upgraded both my desktop and laptop to Windows 10 recently. The desktop's upgrade went smoothly; NVIDIA already has Windows 10-compatible drivers. However, my laptop with Intel HD Graphics is a different story. I've tried the Dell-certified drivers as well as the latest ones directly from Intel, and neither work.
When I attempt to install the driver, I get an error message stating "This computer does not meet the minimum requirements for installing the software."
I just updated from Windows 7 to Windows 10. Here's my specs:

So, I had problems going from Vista to windows 7 because of graphics drivers in the past, and I assume this is the same problem. What happened was I installed everything, came back and my screen was black, no cursor, with the laptop still on. I turned it off and turned it back on, and after the windows load-up it goes black again.
I tried using windows + p to project to a different monitor, but no luck. I tried a lot of different things that I won't bore you with.
Here's my guesses: My graphics driver is out of date, so once I get that up to date I think I might be good, but I'm not sure.
I'm currently on integrated graphics mode, which I think is working as well. I think the other setting is called external, but I'm not positive. I think when my battery is low and I start up my laptop, it switches to inegrated to conserve power, which is why I'm able to be on here right now.
I just downloaded & installed a driver for my graphics card from Geforce.com, and am gonna reboot, which is why I posted this now in case I can't make it back, lol. If you post though I'll be able to see it on my phone, but I might not be able to respond (I can't type sometimes - it closes my keyboard).
I get the message this computer does not meet minimum requirements. I have gtx 970 with latest driver and I installed latest drivers from mainboard site. My motherboard is asrock z97 fatality killer. My cpu is i5 4460.

View 3 RepliesSo I tried to update from Windows 8 to 10 last week. That didn't work for me, so I had to format everything and install Windows 10 afterwards. At first neither W-LAN nor LAN would work. Then I un- & reinstalled the W-LAN driver so now everything's fine except for my ethernet connection.
- Adapter is enabled
- I have un- & reinstalled the driver multiple times (even tried compatability mode, since some sites state that the latest version for AR8161 only supports win 8)
- I was about a thousand times in the properties menu of the ethernet adapter
The full name of the adapter is "Qualcomm Atheros AR8161 PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet Controller (NDIS 6.30)"
I just ran diagnostics on the ethernet adapter and after trying to fix some network protocols Windows prompted me with this. So I tried to fix this by entering

When I upgraded to Windows 10 I could not access the internet. I tried downloading and installing the latest drivers for my Killer e2205, but that didn't work. I've tried using spare USB WiFi adapters, but that didn't work. I even tried using a PCIe Ethernet adapter, but that didn't work. I've been without internet access on my main PC for 4 days now. How do I get my nic to work again? I've uploaded an album of my environment. I don't think I've had a problem that's seemed this unfixable before.

For the past few months, the right touchpad button does not work with the Windows 10 drivers. Windows 8.1 drivers worked fine. If I switch mouse settings to left handed, then the buttons work fine, but obviously this is awkward to get used to. I have rollbacked the driver to a very old edition and it worked fine, however then I had no synaptics touchpad settings so the touchpad settings could not be altered.

I installed Windows 10 for the first time a few hours ago. I like the new interface, etc, but I have a few problems:
Xbox One wired controller doesn't work. Windows 10 automatically install a driver for it, but it still doesn't work. I tried some solutions like this, but without success. I haven't that Microsoft Xbox One Controller entry he wrote about.
Xbox controller works fine with another PC. And these USB ports as well, works fine with other devices.
I have an HP Pavilion DV6 3203tx with dual (Intel/AMD) graphics. I use my tv as a second monitor, but after upgrading to Win 10 this is no longer recognised.
HP does not provide specific drivers for this notebook for Win 10.

I have an nvidia 860m graphics card (Lenovo Y50 Laptop with an i5 processor) and I cannot launch any games with it. I've uninstalled and re downloaded everything from the drivers to the games. My final conclusion is that something is wrong when my computer tries to use my graphics card, but I don't know how to fix it.

Not sure what the deal is, but Win10 keeps automatically downloading NVIDIA graphics drivers and software, even though I don't have any NVIDIA hardware. The proper Microsoft graphics drivers are installed.
I did google this and tried to "hide" these updates via some Powershell commands, but everytime I delete the NVIDIA drivers, windows just redownloads them.
I've had a problem with windows 10 and my acer PC with an AMD chipset. I constantly have black horizontal lines flickering across my screen. It is worse when running games or Chrome.
I've had this problem before in Ubuntu when I tried using proprietary drivers instead of the default open source ones.
I didn't have this problem before I upgraded from windows 7 sp1.
It doesn't stop me using the PC but is rather annoying ^^.

View 8 RepliesHave Z97 GAMING 5 (MS7917) 1.0 MoBo with Intel Core i7 4790K Just clean installed Windows 10 after upgrade from 7 Pro, but had issues with a Samsung SSD 840 EVO 250GB with MBR instead of the prefered one. Had to EUFI instead of BIOS, and apparently, my data drive (ST4000DM0001F2168) was converted and made the system disk to boot from. Anyway, Windows 10 starts and all, but it will not connect to the internet, 'no network drivers are available'. I downloaded the AMI Bios flash v1.b and updated that. Also downloaded MSI LiveUpdate 6 and installed it via USB stick, but nothing shows up on the scans as it cannot connect.
This all started because the stupid "USB Device not recognized" error message kept popping up and Chrome became so slow back in Windows 7. I did everything I read, to include popping out the MoBo battery. The error message still pops up in Windows 10, and Chrome was still slow after the upgrade. Figured a clean install would fix it all...and now I have a very large paperweight...
Auto Updates have 'broken' my HP Network AIO Printer's driver. Repeatedly. On all four networked PCs/Laptops in my household. Requires uninstallation then re-installation of printer driver to regain network printer access/functionality. I and my family are just so impressed </sarcasm>Indeed so impressed that my daughter just bought a MacBook.
