so i have recently upgraded to window 10 and im having some issues with my internet. so the problem is that it keeps on saying "no internet access " and theres also a yellow triangle on my wifi icon.I have watch so many tutorials on how to fix this but still havent found the right solution.ive tried things such as reset my router, flush my dns, reset my ip,update/uninstall my driver, changing power options .
My internet worked fine and I didn't do any changes to it up until it stopped working. I've managed to fix the internet access to allow me to access the internet on my laptop through wi-fi but network access still says no internet access. Websites work however ethernet does not work! I can't connect online on my playstation because ethernet doesn't work. I've tried disabling and enabling the ethernet. I checked the cables, I re-installed the drivers and i turned off and on the router more than I could count.
The internet works on my laptop however a connection test on my playstation 3 says obtain ip address succeeded and internet connection failed. So I can't play online. I am absolutely certain the playstation 3 is not fault as I checked vigurously the settings and I've put in the right connections, however it still does not work? Should I buy new cables for the router?
Upgraded to windows last week and all has been great. Today, I lost internet connectivity on my Windows 10 PC this morning. I still have Network access to view the Windows 10 machine from the rest of my network. . Restarted the router and modem and still no internet access. Device manager says no issues with my Realtek Network card.
I have an issue on both my Windows 10 laptop and desktop PC. Both are DELL and new. Suddenly, my PC wouldn't connect to the internet using ANY wifi network. For this reason, I eliminated my WiFi modem - because the same issue happened when using my phone tethering. Using the Ethernet cable worked. Then a few weeks later my laptop has the same issue, but with this I can't plug in an ethernet port, because it dosen't have one. Both computers had IP Vanish VPN (probably nothing to do with it but thought I'd mention). I believe these issues happened after updates.
I've tried disabling firewall, antivirus, uninstalling Vanish VPN, using cmd from things I've seen recommended, updated network adapter on desktop.
Recently my laptop has a boot error and auto recovery and maintenances could not solve the issue. So I reset the laptop but kept the files and now it boots perfectly fine however none of the internet is working. It shows that I am connected to the wifi but there is no access whatsoever. I even uninstaled my network adapters and even tried a wired conmection and everything seems to not work. All my other devices are connected to the router perfectly.
I am using a lenovo y50 touch with windows ten 64bit.
I have already tried updating drivers, deleting temp files, disabling firewall (antivirus was removed from reset), and already tried the ip config release and renew.
I installed Windows 10 yesterday on 2 lap tops. Everything was fine, i could access the web. I installed it on a third one this morning. It was seeing the network but said it could not access it. I changed the password in the rooter thinking that it would ask me for the new password has Windows 7 does. But it did not.
Now I also have the same problem on the 3 lap tops. I cannot find the place to put in my password like I did on Windows 7. If I try to access 'manually' it does not recognize either. I know it is not my rooter because I was able to access the new password with an old lap top still on Windows 7 and also with my cell. So password and rooter work fine.
I recently upgraded my laptop to Windows 10. Since then, I can not connect to Internet at all. The cable says no Internet when connected and wifi says limited access when connected. I am posting this through my phone because my laptop keeps saying limited access.
Today, when i opened my PC i found out that i have "No internet connection". The last time i used it was last night, and it worked like a charm. The problem is from the software itself I guess because other devices seem to be working fine connected to the internet. This also happened to me while using windows 8.1 but I got it fixed everytime with a simple "netsh" command. Now things aren't this simple, i tried multiple fixes and none of them worked. I tried to update the driver from the device manager but i can't find the microsoft and the producer driver, instead i find some outdated drives from like 2013.
Yesterday I updated my Windows 7 desktop PC to win10, and my internet worked perfectly, both wired and wireless. But today, it just stopped and until now it is still like that, famous yellow triangle. Wifi works. Tried almost everything, changing from DHCP to static, disabling firewall, updating/reinstalling network drivers. I am not using any VPN as far as I know. My network adapter is nvidia nforce.
After switching to static address, I noticed that my adapter changed from unidentified to network, but still in the status window of my adapter i see that ipv4 and ipv6 have no internet access. As I said, other devices work perfectly via wifi.
I have two computers running Windows 10 Pro Technical Preview Build 9926. One computer is a desktop and it is working perfectly. The other is a new HP 15-F039WM laptop and it came with Windows 8.1 With Bing installed and it also works perfectly in Windows 8.1 mode. I resized the hard drive on the HP laptop to free up 150Gb of space and then installed Windows 10 TP Build 9926 from DVD. It still works perfectly when I use dual boot to go into Windows 8.1. When I use dual boot to go into Windows 10, the network icon in the system tray says "Unidentified network - No Internet access". I did swap cables, etc, but I knew that wouldn't work because the laptop does have Internet access when booting to Windows 8.1.
I read through some threads here after searching for DHCP and connectivity issues and even tried some of the suggestions such as using regedit to look at the network profile. There isn't a network profile. It is displaying a 169... IP Address, so I know that it isn't getting an IP. I tried to manually add the correct settings that work for Windows 8.1 (192.168.0.15 with 192.168.0.1 as the Gateway), but that fails.
My router modem is changed. The internet works properly in any other devices which are not win10.
From the wifi connection: it's connected to ssid but no internet access. I cant even ping the gateway. And from the troubleshooting it mentioned that some protocols are missing.
I'm connected to the WiFi, but I can't access the internet. I was trying to fix my rocket league connection so I followed this tutorial to reset the internet options of internet explorer and then to restore the options. I restarted my pc and now I can connect to my WiFi but none of my browsers or applications can access the internet.
I am now encountering a series of bugs that i've never seen before in any windows.
OS: Windows 10 Pro official 64 Connection type: Wifi, no firewall activated
Applications impacted: Steam unable to connect, Google chrome unable to connect to install software, Mozilla Firefox same thing, and probably more apps get the same problem but i can download them and install if the installer doesn't have to download anything. It seems like a services that is not working inside windows installer.
I am able to navigate in Microsoft Edge, and some other apps, but unable to install other application, it is like the firewall is blocking the internet acces but the problem is no firewall are activated right now , nothing has been changed to the router settings as other computers on windows doesn't experience that problem. See screen captures below...
Screenshot 1 : it says check you firewall setting to put chrome to your white list
Screenshot 2 : your download has been interrupted, click ok to continue ( nothing has downloaded not even 1% )
Screenshot 3 : it's in English already just read...
Almost every time I open the start menu, I get the proxy authentication popup, despite ticking the box save the details. There are also a whole bunch of potential proxy servers which can be connected to (I'm at university), and it randomly selects which one to connect to (as this would be the default for "automatically detect settings" in Internet Options.
Cortana isn't available in my country, and I've changed the search menu to not use bing to find results. I have no internet-accessing apps pinned to start. Why is it constantly trying to access the internet? Why won't it save my details after the first login despite it trying to access the same proxy? Maybe too many proxy requests lined up after each other?
I have a Dell M3800 and a work colleague has a Lenovo something, both pretty new. We have both upgraded to Win 10 and have no internet access. We can see our wifi devices in device manager, but no wifi shows up. Direct wired connections also don't work.
I have win 10 on 2 pcs and an old laptop, all with no issues.
I have been using a wireless connection but have decided its better for online gaming if i go wired/ethernet.
I am having a problem "unidentified network/ No internet access"
Now in the past with an xp pc i connected the ethernet cable and that was it i assumt there is some sort of set up i need to do for win10?
Also it may be worth letting you know i am not directly connected to the router via an ethernet cable, i am using the plug in things that sends the signal down the house electrical wires. Maybe this is an issue although it wasnt on my xp pc.
I upgraded my ageing Dell Inspiron 530 desktop PC this morning from Win7 Ultimate to Win10 Pro. The PC is connected to the router via ethernet cable. All seems fine in terms of the OS, but I have no internet access. I know the router's OK as my other devices are fine. When I run the troubleshooter it flags up "There may be a problem with the driver for the Local Area Adapter".Digging further, it seems the issue is "Windows couldn't automatically bind the IP protocol stack to the network adapter"
Looking at Services, I found the Wired AutoConfig and WLAN AutoConfig services weren't running were set to Manual. I changed these to Automatic and rebooted, but still no joy.The network adapter is an Intel 82652V-2 10/100 and Device Manager says it's working normally and the driver is up to date.
I just upgraded from Win 10 32 to Win 10 64 bit and my internet connection is very slow, about 20/30 kb/s. It was a fresh install, deleted everything and reinstalled from scratch. I have looked on the forums and cant find a solution that works, I've checked the network adapter drivers for my wireless and they're up to date. I've troubleshooted the problem and they said something was wrong with the network configuration which was solved, but still no change in the internet speed. I've got broadband and should be downloading at hundreds of kb/s.
I have a gaming pc. Core i7. Gigabyte Sniper 5 motherboard with wireless lan, ethernet and intel ethernet. So 2 lan ports and a wireless connection. My network and internet is working on my mac iPad and phone. But for some reason on my pc it is showing that the connection has internet access but no apps will work. Skype, steam, origin, i.e, chrome. I have tried everything. I can use a personal hotspot via bluetooth with my phone to the pc as it has bluetooth as well and then the internet works with no problem. I am guessing it is a hardware issue ? I have uninstalled and reinstalled the software but it is not working.
But I'm currently browsing the internet and typing to you.
In fact - I can do virtually everything (League; Steam; Skype; etc) except use any OS feature that requires logging in - e.g. Mail, User Accounts, Shop, etc. Then it says something along the lines of "Cannot use this service without an internet connection - please connect and try again." When I run Network Diagnostics as the prompt recommends - it says I am connected and cannot find a problem.
It doesn't always happen - but it seems to be determined on start-up. If I restart it now it might be working next launch - but 75% of the time it will encounter the same issue. It's been happening for months now but I've sort of gotten used to using my phone to check my emails - but I've now encountered an issue with one of my hard drives being unable to be searched (tried indexing, etc) and the only step I've found that I haven't tried says it could be a corrupted user account - but I cannot update my user account without "connecting to the internet". -_-
The system is up to date. No driver updates available.
I have upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10. I have not had any issues in Windows 7. Everytime I restart my computer, it will say I will be connected to my WiFi but with a triangle saying no internet access. A solution is to open the device manager, uninstall the driver under "network adapters", unplug and plug the usb wifi adapter. Then enter the password for the network, then it works. I have to do this everytime I restart my pc.
I am using, Realtek RTL8192CU Wireless LAN USB Network Adapter...
Windows 10 worked great after initial download and installation. After 10 days, started seeing long delays in accessing the internet which I attributed to CHARTER (TV, phone, and internet). Now, when I try to open Edge, I get an error message:
Windows 10 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Explorer.EXE
The group or resource is not in the correct state to perform the requested operation. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I can still open my eMail (Yahoo! Mail) through the Explorer logo in the Startup Box, but when I click on links in an eMail message, nothing happens.
When I click to open Edge, the screen shows a quick white outline of the Edge (large Blue box), then disappears!
The Internet must still be working...my eMail messages are updated as usual, and I am receiving all the Windows 10 Updates as indicated in Settings.
I logged onto my laptop as usual this morning and opened up Firefox. However, on trying to open a website it responds as of I'm not connected. My WiFi says 'no Internet, secured'. I tried the mac and it has the same connection issues, but for some reason I can use the WiFi on my phone alright?
