My laptop recently got hanged, then I restarted the laptop. But right from the booting Windows 10 screen, a music is being played in background.
Nobody uses my laptop since 1 year apart from me. And I never did any such settings. Here is the link to that audio I recorded from my mobile phone. [URL] ....
I can't see any such processes running in Task Manager as well.
After upgrade to windows 10 it is not starting up ..it is in never ending loops of restart .it shows inaccessible boot device.. What to do now?

View 1 RepliesSo my pc was working fine I have Windows 10 pro then I was having issues with the xbox app and party connectivity so I looked it up found that if I uninstalled the teredo tunneling and reinstalled it, it was a possible fix so I did it and then windows would not load after that I see the initial blue windows sign on start then when it would normally take me to sign in it just has the spinning dots and I waited but after about an hour I just gave up and restarted a few times and tried numerous things it can launch fine in safe mode...
View 9 RepliesI just upgraded to Win10. I am using the computer as a HTPC and need the PC to boot up automatically each day so it can runs some scripts. I have been doing this by enabling the computer to automatically boot up within the UEFI . This no longer works after the Win 10 upgrade.

View 1 RepliesLenovo ThinkCentre, 32bit was running fine on Windows 7 Home. The upgrade to Win 10 downloaded fine and started installing until the final bit Settings etc when there was a brief error "KMODE EXCEPTION NOT HANDLED" without any further info. No codes, numbers or anything else. Installation continued until 97% and then started rebooting in a loop for several hours already.
I'd prefer to finish the installation properly, but otherwise would like to roll back to Win 7 and have a usable machine with all data and programs intact.
I've got a Windows 10 machine that was automatically upgraded from Windows 8.1. It was working fine for a few months. Suddenly it just hangs on boot. It gets to the blue screen with the spinning white dots. Pressing Ctrl-Alt-Del brings me to the login screen but with only a restart and shutdown option. I can boot into safe mode, but I don't know what to do there.

I can add this a loacation for Groove to get it's music from but while it accepts this is doesn;t actualkly find any music even though it's there. Odd thing the old 'Music' app did work after the upgrade to 10 but then seemed to stop after the recent update when I think 'Groove' replaced it.I found this on a MS article: If you have music stored on a network or network access storage (NAS) drive:To use a network drive with the Music app:

My computer used to go to lock screen after a while, but has stopped recently. I can't find out where the setting is that adjusts this. When I poke around in lock screen settings (personalization > lock screen> screen timeout settings) I can indeed make the screen turn off after a period of time, but it doesn't go to the lock screen. If I wake up the computer it just goes back to the desktop. What am I missing?

- When the on-screen keyboard comes up, the windows will not automatically resize to make way. The Keyboard will end up covering the window. (In Windows 8.1, all windows will resize.) (In Windows 10, only Store App and Microsoft Edge knows how to resize.)
I've been using Windows 10 on my pc for quite some time now. There's allways been the option for lock screen on customization, but i've never seen it. I've recently found there are several ways to "lock" the screen on Windows 10 Pc (like using Windows+L).I also remember to read somewhere that usin lock screen reduces the lifetime of the ssd.I would like to know:
- Is there a way put the lock screen automatically, after 1 minute of inactivity (or 5) for example?.
-Is it true that using a lock screen would reduce the lifetime on the ssd?
-What are your personal recommendations about this?.
When I boot up my computer (to windows 10). It will do the Asus splash screen then instead of going straight to windows if does this black screen with the kinda terminal thing (with no writing/text) then goes on to windows. Does this affect my computer?
View 1 RepliesI recently upgraded to Win10, and everything worked great. A couple of days ago, my keyboard started to lag. For example when I play games (FPS) and I try to move with W, my movement last much longer than it should. If I hold W in for 2 sec, then it will recieve the signal for twice as long. And I can't interupt my movement.
I tested exactly this outside of a game, and the same problem occured. When I send a signal, it recieves it for about twice as long.I checked my keyboard setting in control panel, and everything looked normal according to my other pc. However, these lags only start happening about 15min after startup.

At first, when I search Voice Recorder and open the store page, it will show downloading, then after that an update button appear, after I click that update button it will show small download icon at the top left side of my account profile picture. After a short while it'll disappear and still Voice Recorder app cannot be opened. This weird behavior keep repeating every time I open the Voice Recorder store page.

View 6 RepliesSo recently my PC just started randomly crashing with different errors. Some are bug checks, some are driver_irql_not_less_or_equal. I ran virus scans, malwarebytes, ccleaner, reseated my memory, CPU [and checked thermal paste], dusted it out, ran memtest etc. Everything keeps coming back kosher.
Some of the problem details:

Today when I started up my computer I couldn't load my operating system (Win 10 Pro 64bit). It said my pc was missing a file, or that the file had been damaged. I've bought a new Sata cable for my ssd since I first thought that it was that that was wrong, but nothing happened. I don't have my dvd disk for my windows.

Starting Monday (I think) I started getting artifacts all over my screen then my computer would crash and restart (sometimes the artifacts would persist during the boot screens, which would force multiple restarts before I could even log into Windows). I was not in any situation with heavy loads on either the CPU or GPU. This happened multiple times. Eventually, it started giving me a BSOD and one of these three codes: "DCP WATCHDOG VIOLATION", "TRD VIDEO FAILURE", or "DRIVER IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL". Of all the dumps I got, the consensus from WhoCrashed is that it's the Nvidia kernel driver nvlddmkm.sys (in some cases it was dxgmms2.sys). My drivers were up to date at that point.
Two days ago I was told by the Nvidia chat "support" to use Revouninstaller and roll back my drivers to those from December, which I did. It took a lot longer, and it didn't actually crash, but I got artifacts again, the screen froze then flickered and came back, and then an error message came up saying that my Nvidia kernel driver had stopped working and recovered. At that point, I turned off for the night and went to bed. Yesterday I was able to use my computer for several hours without any problems, but just as I was about to turn in, it artifacted and crashed with a BSOD and one of those three codes above (can't remember which).
I ran a full scan using Windows Defender. It got about halfway done, then stopped. I couldn't start it again (gave error 0x8007139f). After a restart it would scan, but I'm convinced it didn't finish again (I was working on my laptop while it was scanning so I wasn't paying complete attention, but what took 30 minutes to get halfway before, "finished" in less than 10 minutes). I'm not convinced it's an infection yet, but I guess it's another things to check for if it turns out WinDef isn't cutting it.

How to solve this without knowing what error is causing this?
I have tried reinstalling Office and iCloud (run as administrator) but no luck. Is Windows 10 compatible for iCloud? Apple says no and Microsoft says yes.......
It did worked before, but it slowed down my computer so much that i decided to reinstall the Office package. Everything worked ok after the reinstall and Office programs are running ok. Only I can't get iCloud to sync with Outlook anymore.
