View 1 RepliesI tried to use lumia software recovery tool as well but it said software package not available for this phone. How can I resolve the problem?
View 1 RepliesInstalled win 10 with no problems and it has been running successfully for a good while. Recently I have had some booting problems, not all the time but every so often the boot sits there with a black screen showing ACER and nothing happens. If you sit long enough it will boot with no other problems. I tried looking at the boot section and switched it to normal as it was on something else which I cannot remember.
View 5 RepliesI have a old windows 7 safe mode boot screen that migrated over to windows 10. I works on windows 10 but I don't need it any more so I want to get rid of it. I just don't want to mess up in removing it... I'm using this tutorial... Can't get rid of the dual-boot option on start-up ?

I installed Windows 7 Home Basic and did all Windows updates; this went fine. Reserved Windows 10 and downloaded/installed it when it was ready; this went fine. Once in Windows 10, tried to "reset this pc" by choosing "remove everything" and "just remove my files"; this went fine until doing a restart after reaching 100%. This issue being the "inaccessible_boot_device" error that many others have gotten which causes the PC to enter a restart loop.
Well, during this loop I made the (apparent) mistake of turning off my PC. Now, I can't even boot my PC at all. I get a black screen. I can't use the Windows 7 disc, can't use my MOBO disc, can't even boot into bios... nothing. All I see when I turn on my PC is literally a black screen with nothing on it.
What can be done to fix this? I've read that putting Windows 10 on a USB by using the Microsoft media creation tool and booting from that to clean install works, but if I can't even boot from the Windows 7 disc, how can I boot from a USB? And I can't even enter BIOS to force a USB boot.
My PC will now boot into the "inaccessible_boot_device" error blue screen and does the restart loop. Not sure what I should do now. I'm afraid to power off my PC again.
Not sure why, but I was finally able to boot into BIOS. My only guess would be that, maybe when I tried(but failed) to remove my MOBO battery, just from me wiggling it caused it to reset? Idk.
Anyway, once in BIOS, I changed boot priority to DVD and was able to access reinstalling Windows 7. I am right now reinstalling Windows 7, on Disk 0 Partition 2(if that matters. wouldn't even allow me to install on partition 1 or 3).
So, from the looks of things, everything is back to normal? I should be able to finish reinstalling Windows 7, do the updates and redownload/reinstall Windows 10 without issue? Though, this time I will NOT attempt to "reset this pc".
I'm back into Windows 10. So, I'm still not sure why I was finally able to boot into BIOS, but once I was able to, I changed DVD boot drive to top priority and was able to reinstall Windows 7 from the disc. I then did all Windows Updates. I then downloaded the Windows 10 ISO and mounted/installed it with Virtual Clone Drive. I am now back inside Windows 10, hoping nothing else goes wrong.
Today I upgraded my Win 7 PC to Win 10. Everything was fine 'till the installation finished and came up with my desktop. it loaded normally for a few moments then a black screen appeared with no taskbar nor the icons only cursor. I can access the Task manger and I tried terminating explorer.exe and restarting it but nothing changes.
View 1 Repliesin windows 10 when I trying to safely eject the USB it says that the USB device is already in use (which is not )and if I'm removing it forcely the pc freeze and I'm getting the bsod with the error: inaccessible boot device and then my pc turning off I tried to format but it still happing I had no choice to go back to win 8.1 and there everything good (also it happing with some USB devices but some are working to but still .
View 1 RepliesAfter installing a 32 bit windows 10 from a USB by mistake I decided to upgrade to the 64 bit version. I have 3 hard drives, one of which is an ssd that I am trying to install the OS to. After downloading and setting up the media creation tool and creating a USB I restarted and boot form USB.
I followed the steps and deleted the existing windows 10 partitions on my dad and tried installing straight to the unallocated space. After the installation completed it restarted the installer, which is not what happened when I previously successfully install windows 10. I then changed the boit order to have my ssd first and rebooted, which gave me the Reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media error.
Confused I loaded up the installed and there were correctly partitioned installs already on the ssd ( although one partition looked a little small). I tried reinstalling windows 10 with the same result over and over.
After updating to win 10 my dvd is not recognized and not showing in device mgr , I have tried all the fixes on the net but no go
View 1 Repliesi got my new Benq 2411z and its really nice, configured everything. But my problem is the following:
The monitor does not show the windows startup anymore, so i cannot see windows loading and cant access bios menu at start.
Somehow in device manager there is a non-pnp monitor listed which is listed as standard, if i uninstall or deactivate it, it does not affect my problem and its back after restart.
Furthermore i cant disconnect this non existing monitor via windows control panel.
I need to set the benq monitor (shown as monitor 2) as main monitor in windows 10 settings, but it does not change anything about my problem with the start up.
When i start the computer the displays says: "no device found"
When the computer booted and is finally on desktop it says: "input: dvi" and the desktop shows
Moreover my CCleaner says i have "microsoft basic display driver", but i have got a gtx980..
I have upgraded my OS to Windows 10 from 7 and I can not see the PORTS(COM and LTE) in the device manager. I tried everything but don't know how to find it.
View 5 RepliesExternal speakers were working fine, then update to Win10 now external speakers not even recognized. They don't show up as a connected device. speakers on monitor won't work either.
View 1 RepliesI installed Win10 Pro x64 from scratch on my desktop computer and that is the only OS I have on that computer. The Device Manager shows an alert - please check the attachment. I have Nvidia Geforce 9400 and have updated the drivers. How can I get rid of that alert ?
View 9 RepliesI just noticed that in device manager Microsoft Basic Driver Adapter is enabled not my NVIDIA Geforce 6200 TC. Is there anyway to get it back or do I have to wait for an update? Or should I revert back to Windows 7 and go to Windows 10 when its ready.

Unchecking the "Turn on Fast Startup" command in the above setting path does not do it. There is supposed to be a motherboard software for enabling a normal startup the next time the computer is restarted.
I have recently upgraded to Windows 10. I have a homegroup setup on my home network which allows me to share the music files stored on my PC with phones & tablets etc for streaming.
Since the upgrade when I access the files using Apps like BubbleUPnP or MConnect the music files are all shown in one giant folder rather than being sorted into the sub folders (Artist, Album etc) as it is on my PC.
This problem has only occurred since upgrading to 10. I reverted to 7 to check and everything went back to normal.
Is there a setting or checkbox I am missing?
I've had this problem with my razer kraken headset with sound being played back through the mic. My friend has an identical pare that he had the same problem with. To fix it he simply went into Realtek HD Audo Manager and when to device advance settings and checked "Seperate all input jacks as independent input devices" and bam! NO more sound from his end.
I went to check to see if I could do the same and all I found under device advanced settings was playback devices. No recording devices.
ive noticed lately that the information for hard drivers is totally incorrect, all firmware for drives is up to date, mobo bios is latest but drive info is sque wiff.
View 3 RepliesI've just added a 2nd HD to my Dell system with Win 10. It shows in the BIOS and Seagate tools finds it. It does not show up in Device manager or Computer Management/Storage - Disc Management or anywhere. Not sure if this si Won 10 specific.
View 2 RepliesI have an odd issue where a Samsung SSD that is no longer in my system is still showing. The weird thing is if I bring up the properties, and then populate the fields of the drive (by pressing the populate button), it shows the capacity of the newer drive which is double the size. This drive is not a Samsung drive though. So I'm not sure what's going on here - see picture where it clearly states (at the top) that I'm looking at the properties of a 250GB Samsung drive, but the populated fields show it to be a 480GB drive.

Ok recently my pc has been crashing like crazy and I got tired of it so I decided to reset my pc (I have windows 10) but after I did so it would try to restart and it kept saying it ran into a problem (INACCESSIBLE BOOT DEVICE) and it would reset again and it would keep doing that in an endless loop.
So I figured all the crashing before was because of motherboard. Gigabyte ATX Socket AM3+ AMD 970 Chipset. So I recently bought a new motherboard.A MSI 970 Gaming mother board. But its still keeps showing the screen that keeps saying it ran into a problem (INACCESSIBLE BOOT DEVICE) in a endless loop. Does this mean I need a brand new clean hard drive that doesn’t have windows installed on it so it can act like a brand new computer or what?
i want to boot on advance startup option, but everytime i restarted, it just like a normal restart, (settings, recovery then restart) What must be the prblem? i just installed wndows 10 pro.
View 9 Repliesso I went from windows 7 to windows 10 reason behind it was because being new.. I thought I would reset everything as it was going slow and now it is just showing the
inaccessible boot device
I am trying to change the settings on the esc start up but it's not showing things I can change?
I recently purchased an SSD and installed it on my computer it is a Samsung 850 Pro. I used the Data Migration tool to clone my OS and then shutdown. I switched my current drive with it and turned the pc back on and got the INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE error.
View 1 Repliesthe other day I realized I had a keylogger on my PC. I decided to use the windows 10 feature to wipe my HDD, deleting all the programs and installing win10 fresh again. After being finished with the restore, I booted my pc and was greeted to a message that said: something went wrong blah blah, with "INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE" being the subtitle. I've tried rebooting my computer numerous times but no results. I've tried changing boot orders and shit in BIOS settings, to boot from USB but that didn't work either..
