View 2 RepliesI installed Windows 10 a couple of weeks ago without any incident. However, this week I have noticed that I am unable to play any videos in my hard drive (regardless of format or video player... tried Windows Media Player, VLC, the photos app) or online (like in youtube or facebook). When playing videos on my hard drive, the video player is blank and doesn't play (although VLC shows the filename and the track length just fine). When playing videos through a browser (I use Chrome) the page simply crashes without playing the video.
I have also encountered a browser error where Shockwave Flash isn't responding. I have only one flash player installed so it's likely not a conflict issue on my browser.
Hardware:
Processor: Intel Celeron CPU N2840 @ 2.16GHz
RAM: 2.00 GB
System Type: 64-Bit
When I see video on other website not on youtube but other website, I can't download and save video. When I tap and hold the video i see save video but when i click it does not download.
View 2 RepliesTwo weeks ago, I upgraded to Windows 10 64-bit from my previous Windows 7 operating system. However, since then, whenever I watch or stream videos online, be it youtube, Netflix or other internet sites, my laptop would just automatically shuts down. But when I turn it on again, It starts up alright without any problems except that it will show an error message which states that:
Runtime Error!
Program: C:WINDOWSsystem32atibtmon.exe
This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.
Then when I start to watch a video again, it shuts down again :-(
I am not a tech wiz so I haven't done anything yet to fix it. My laptop is an HP G62 Notebook running an AMD Dual-Core processor.
I am not able to watch any YouTube videos or videos on other sites. Sound is good but screen is a wavey green colour. This wasn't an issue before I upgraded to Windows 10.
View 1 RepliesI have just updated from Windows 7 to Windows 10 on my laptop and everything works fine except for videos. When I try to watch a video on Windows Media Player, I get a black screen but the audio of the video works fine. I have been using the VLC player without problems. YouTube videos for Microsoft Edge didn't work until I switched to use software rendering instead of GPU rendering. If I try to use the Film & TV for my videos, I get an error 0xc00d11cd (0x80004005) and to visit Xbox support. In the Xbox App, when I try to watch a friends video, it says the video could not be decoded. When I try to stream my Xbox, I get a black screen but the audio of my Xbox works with what I am doing on my Xbox controller. So the streaming works, but no video. i have tried everything.

Just upgraded to Windows 10. I can get the audio from the videos but not the video itself.
View 2 RepliesI am running Windows 10 from an automatic upgrade from Windows 8.1. My machine is a Dell Inspiron 15 laptop on my home wi-fi network which is powered by Cox Gigabit service. Everything works well and fast, except that I get no audio from videos in Facebook, Email and those in browser sites, like CNN. I do get audio from ITunes and other previously saved music.
View 7 RepliesHowever, the same cable connected to my HDD was connected to my SSD. (I fried my HDD due to over voltage) now when I try to watch videos or when I try to listen to music it will all play, but will stop after about 12 seconds and freeze. I have tried restoring windows 10, I checked my Intel SSD with their toolbox software, and I have uninstalled and reinstalled my drivers for my Astro A40s and MIXAMP-TR along with the firmware.
I never experienced any of this before the frying of my HDD. So could it be the SSD? Because the HDD was used for only steam games and nothing else. My graphics card is the Gigabyte GeForce GTX 970. The SSD is Intel 730 Series 480GB. My HDD was the Seagate ST 1000DM003 1 TB. URL...In playback devices the green bars stay frozen and no audio can be heard. My Internet download speed has also decreased from 70 mbps over LAN to 10 mbps, and I know this is not my ISP because my other devices are still around 70 mbps.
My PC is the HP ENVY TouchSmart M7-J120DX with Beats Audio quad speakers and two subwoofers. After running a clean installation of Windows 10, my volume icon had an error "no audio device output" / IDT High Definition Audio Codec. The troubleshooting option did nothing. I uninstalled my audio device, and restarted my pc. My sound is back, but it seems that the middle speakers are the only ones working. My volume icon and sound device now is labeled "High Definition Audio Device" which now sounds substandard, just like those cheap tinny speakers you can find at the dollar store. How to recover my original great-sounding original speakers!
View 4 Repliesever since I got windows 10 my maxx audio doesn't work and now just says "MaxxAudio processes internal speakers output only"
View 1 RepliesI am using windows 10 for 6 months, from the two last weeks on, it was impossible to watch my favorite TV program. For the edge appear a message : Error loading media: File could not be played. Through the google crome it is impossible too, appear a message: Can not load M3U8: No levels in manifest. Before it works great, at the same TV online. I suppose that something is wrong with windows media player, I updated the windows 10 and the problem continues.

View 3 RepliesI just signed up for the last Build of the Techincal Preview. Such big surprised I had when I saw that now the files on OneDrive that are not selected to be offline are just not there. With Windows 8.1 I had my entire OneDrive folder set online to make free space on my computer.
Did I miss any option on the settings of the operating system or the OneDrive app to make my online files still appear there?
Been trying to use Windows Update in Windows 10 since I just installed it a day ago.
When I try to start it, I get this error:
We couldn't get online to download your updates. We'll try again later, or you can check now. If it still doesn't work, make sure you're connected to the Internet.
Tried turning BITS svc on and off
Tried turning windows update svc on and off
Tried turning msiserver svc on and off
Have tried adding windows update to the firewall.
My one drive in my computer does not update One drive on line.
I had to do a reinstall of Win 10 pro and ever since this has been out of sync.
I don't know if this started since Windows 10, but I use headphones for PC sound and if I go outside to smoke a cigarette or something I take my headphones with me so I can listen to music from my phone. When I come back and replug my headphones into my PC, audio no longer works in games, FL studio, YouTube videos, etc. Until I restart the entire program. Systemsounds work fine after replugging but audio in anything other than Windows don't
View 1 RepliesI've been trying to use DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /Restorehealth on my Windows 10 Home, but it keeps telling me that it does not support servicing Windows PE with the /Online option. Of course I'm not running WinPE 10.

View 1 RepliesWindows 10 is really terrific. I've started using it and I'm still discovering its impressive and practical new features. However, I encountered a problem today which I couldn't solve.
Some online Arabic Websites are not displaying correctly and I cannot read them.
I have restarted my pc at least more than ten times today so just i can connect for 10 or 15 minutes at once. this is the message from my connection trubleshooting: website (Microsoft Corporation) is online but isn't responding to connection attempts. I have tried resetting the internet through command prompt and by following youtube videos but it did not work. I've been having this problem for at least 2 days already.
Every once in a while a local radiostation comes on without me asking for it.After a long search, i found that a process called "window.media. background player.exe" is doing this .When i stop that process, the music stops...But sometimes the next day and sometimes the next week or so, it's there again..
View 2 RepliesI have changed my router. Is a 'FritzBox fon WLAN 7170'. First i connected, it was all good, i tried to connect to browser and it was good. Then i tried to connect Steam. "Could not connect to the steam network, either check your connection and click 'Retry' or start Steam in offline mode."I looked up for the probem, tried to:
- start the shortcut with -tcp
- turn the firewall off
- remove Steam from processes
- uninstall Steam and install it again.
- delete all files from Steam (without steamapps folder)
I tried other games online, they don't work either..I saw that video - Fritz!Box Firewall Port forwarding - YouTube (is 3:22 minutes long, if you want to watch it)I saw on the internet i can connect to the router settings with WIFI connection and i can't connect (CMD - ipconfig - Default Gateway in the browser).
Do i need to port forwoard all of them ?Is the Dynamic DNS the case? Why is the IPV6 with "No network access"? -Is the IPV6 important for online games?Do i need to set IPV6 ON?
