A few hours later my PC shut down and when I try to turn it on it either instantly reboots after i get to the login screen. When it restarts it has had these messages:

BSOD :: Blue Screens All Time

Nov 19, 2015

Here are minidumps of the past several bluescreens, and a full memory dump of the most recent one. I've been getting these for various reasons - I already fixed a few problems with programs chewing up hard disk and causing crashes due to this, but I recently started getting them again at random times and I can't figure out the root cause. Attached is the official folder of stuff from the tool. The event log will include additional unexpected power losses because occasionally it completely freezes and I have to hard reset. I'm hoping it's not hard-drive failure because it often fails for different reasons.

BSOD :: Got Rid Of Blue Screens Getting Them Again 10 Days Later

Jan 31, 2016

I was having BSODs all throughout December. The problem seemed to be fixed when I didn't have a crash for 10 days, and now it crashes frequently. I'm worried there might be a new issue.

My previous post is here for a little more information: SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION (win32kfull.sys), atikmdag.sys, etc - Windows 10 Forums

And the new debug file: DESKTOP-SAJ2R33-Sun_01_31_2016_165248_86.zip

Blue Screens And Web Browser Crashes

Jan 28, 2016

so after countless fresh installs and cleaning and checking my hardware, i am still getting blue screens. i have seen "PAGE FAULT IN NON-PAGE AREA" and "MEMORY MANAGEMENT" and "IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL". maybe there have been others but these are the main bsod's. These bsod's sometimes follow my web browser crashing. Other times, the blue screens come out of nowhere. on a side note, the flash player and adBlock software sometimes crash. Also sometimes chrome just says the "aw snap" page and i have to refresh multiple times for it to work. if it doesnt work, then what usually follows is one of the BSOD's above.

None of the blue screens have error codes, just the names. And actually as i was typing the last sentence, my pc froze, then resumed, then instantly started lagging in my keystrokes, then gave me the PAGE FAULT blue screen above. my last fresh install was going very well until i downloaded and started the install wizard for the Logitech Gaming App for my logitech g930 mic. after i accepted the terms and went to the next page to choose file location, this all started and wont stop. just like the other fresh installs. but this is the first time i went long without problems.

I forgot to add that crashes also SOMETIMES instantly happen when i try to download games, update games, or install directx and things of the like for my games

A new BSOD i have never seen before just occurred while i was browsing my files. "DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION"

Link to 5 dmp files (all after bsod's)URL....

Another crash. "KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE"

Blue Screens - Different Error If Overclocked

Dec 27, 2015

So I upgraded windows 10 from win 7 this summer, and it's been bugging since the beginning. Small things like when I am at the login screen I don't see that I write anything and when in windows and u press the windows key, under the "most used" apps there is nothing shown even tho if i click on the area different apps will launch.. So visual bugs I've had since I did the install. Today my computer crashed and I haven't been able to log in since.

My specs are:
gtx560ti
i5k
650W
8gig

I have overclocked the CPU to 4.3k.

So the Windows logo launches, but before I get to the login screen I get bluescreen with the   smiley, and the error WHEA_uncorrectable_error. I changed my CPU to stock settings, so no more overclock. This time I get another error. Machine_check_exception..

I test overclock vs stock settings over and over, and always get the different errors depending on which option I use.

After a few crashes on overclock, I get the option to launch in Safe Mode. This works. Other options "search for problems with windows" (or smth like that I dont have english client) does NOT work. Choosing the option to remove all programs but save files also does NOT work.

I have changed position of my RAM and tried stock and overclock CPU settings without any difference. I have run windows 10 RAM test without any problems.

I have tried to reinstall windows 7 (since I have that on disc) but I get bluescreen every time I try (dont know which error code I get here)

Summary: WHEA_uncorrectable_error or machine_check_expcetion errors when launching windows, depending on if CPU is clocked or not. RAM works fine. Safe Mode windows works. Blue screen when trying to install windows 7

BSOD :: Power Outage - Now Blue Screens

Aug 12, 2015

I had a power outage a few days ago, and now my Windows 10 Pro has random Blue Screen problems.

My system was running fine before, did the Windows 10 Upgrade from Windows 8.1 Pro no problem.

I'm pretty sure the outage stopped my machine and potentially corrupted files.

I just happened to have new ram for the machine that I hadn't installed yet, so I put that in just to make sure my RAM was good.

The Blue Screens happen at random times, even when I haven't touched the machine after reboot. It will just blue screen again after a few minutes to a couple of hours.

I have the Samsung XP941 and ASRock Z97 Extreeme 9 Motherboard.

I'm hoping it hasn't damaged my Samsung card/HD.
It's hard to tell anything with that M.2 SSD drive.
No real diagnostic software or firmware stuff from Samsung anyways.

Boot Loop And Blue Screens After Update

Jul 31, 2015

So this is not my personal computer, but this is my mom's computer. Its an HP Slimline Desktop computer, not sure about the exact model but it is running with an AMD Athlon X2 B24, 8GB of DDR3 RAM, AMD R5 240 and a Corsair Neutron 120GB SSD.

Everything was working fine when it was running a legitimate OEM copy of Windows 7 Home. However, after the Windows 10 upgrade process, it got stuck in "Welcome Back" Screen and she told me after she clicked "Next" the cursor started spinning, and it rebooted. Now after checking it, Windows wouldn't load to the desktop, it would just go on a bootloop and blue screens.

She didn't back anything up before the upgrade. I do not know what to do.

BSOD :: Blue Screens When Using Youtube / Playing Games

Jan 8, 2016

I have had a number of blue screens over the last few months, typically occurring a few times a week, and mostly displaying a different error each time. I have noticed it typically happens while on YouTube, gaming, or video editing. I ran Memtest for 3 passes with no errors. Also, I have tried to run driver verifier, but that just resulted in an infinite restart loop (no blue screens) that finally ended after seeing the error below, and I was able to disable driver verifier in safe mode.

I think the graphics card may be causing the issue as I have also noticed frequent game crashes and video corruption when watching movies. I tried reinstalling the graphics card driver however that didn't fix the issue. Should I replace my graphics card or is there another solution?

BSOD :: Multiple Blue Screens / Crashing Repeatedly After Upgrade

Aug 3, 2015

Essentially, ever since I upgraded, my computer (which has had its issues in the past, admittedly) has been crashing repeatedly, multiple times per day, exact amount varying with what I'm doing. The most common error according to WhoCrashed is Video_TDR_ERROR, followed by DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION, and HAL_INITIALIZATION_FAILED.

I've noticed it crashes more often when playing a flash video or similar streaming, followed by media players, and then even sometimes when just browsing the web. The majority of the time, it will freeze first, repeating a sound loop varying from a split second to a full second or so until it finally bluescreens.

I've taken the following steps so far to try fixing it, after some google searching:

*Rolling back Nvidia drivers to .30
*Completely removing the nvidia drivers with the uninstaller utility, and then reinstalling them again
*Reinstalling sound drivers and wifi drivers.
*SFC checks, and DISM even when nothing was found
*Hard drive repair (Check disk and seatools)
*Virus scans

But no luck so far. I'm assuming it's driver/software related based on what I know of the errors and the timing of it all.

As a side note, I can't change back to 7 right now, it's a long story that basically comes down to the files getting deleted when they shouldn't have been. I'd also prefer to avoid Restoring, as that removes all programs (Effectively, I don't have any from the Store), which defeats the purpose of upgrading instead of doing a clean install, unless someone knows of a 'repair' installation option like Windows 7 had, that keeps ALL programs installed, but I can't find anything like that.

BSOD :: Blue Screens / System Hangs During Stress Test / Benchmark

Nov 28, 2015

My system had 2 blue screen the past few weeks, so I decided to try to check for eventual hardware and software problems, I started by running a stress test with ROG realbench since my CPU is overclocked, it gave me an error already(program stopped working), so after doing more tweaking(increasing voltage), then I finally put back the default speed because it wouldn't even start, although at the beginning it crashed right away when I clicked start, and after putting more voltage, it starts and works for a bit and then the PC just hangs, and it still does it at stock speed.. which is quite weird ! it also did it with cinebench, but the strange things is I played numerous hours of starcraft 2 without problem, also I wasn't doing anything when the blue screens happened.

I ran a windows memory test, no errors detected (haven't ran memtest though..) I also did a sfc /scannow and it didn't detected anything wrong.. I'm starting to think it's more related to windows than hardware.

I'll put a screenshot of the past blue screens :

Computer Freezing - Processor 100% Network Adapter Turned Off / Occasional WHEA Blue Screens

Oct 16, 2015

My laptop, an Acer, has been freezing multiple times a day recently. Sometimes I get a blue screen eventually that tells me there's been a WHEA error, sometimes none of that. Yesterday, I kept staring at the screen for a while instead of restarting, and eventually it recovered. I could see the processor activity climb to 100%, and that interrupts claimed up to 14% of the activity. Afterwards, the network adapter (Qualcomm Atheros AR956x) was turned off, apparently because of a 'code 12' - 'insufficient available resources'.

That problem was only resolved after a restart. When I shut the computer down, I got a screen telling the computer was being 'prepared' for a long time - sometimes I also see a blue screen showing the installation of updates at start-up, even if none were waiting to be installed. The drivers for the network adapter are up to date, version 10.0.0.318 (apparently dating from May 2015). I'm quite sure this is a software issue - 'chkdsk' doesn't find any problems, nor does 'sfc /scannow'. And a friend of mine with an Apple laptop running Windows 10 (we've never exchanged USB sticks or anything) has exactly the same problem since installing Windows 10 (different network adapter however, and seems to have improved recently).

Constant Computer Crashing Including Blue Screens / Random Restarts And Complete Power Offs

Dec 10, 2015

My computer is crashing constantly, and its gotten to a point where its just very hard to use. It sometimes crashes 3 or 4 times a day, with crashes including blue screens, random restarts, complete power offs, and a combination of blue screen and mid blue screen it turns off. I've manually removed software, used malware scanners, cleared data, but nothing so far has worked.

My computer is the CyberPower GUA880, with the single modification of an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 Ti graphics card.

My most common BSOD is CLOCK_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT

Can't Do A Clean Install - After The First Restart Get A Blue Screen

Dec 4, 2015

I’ve got an issue with installing Windows 10 Pro 32bit on my computer where I try to clean install windows, and after the first restart when it’s doing the ‘getting devices ready’ part, I get a blue screen- WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR.

A little history on this issue… I started with a clean install of 10 Pro on this computer, installation went fine, computer ran without issue. After installing all available windows updates and Firefox, I plugged in a USB guitar interface device (M-Audio JamLab), and immediately got a blue screen, then the computer restarted… I didn’t catch the error on the blue screen. I unplugged the JamLab device, same issue (pretty sure this is when I first saw the WHEA error code)

I’ve been troubleshooting to the point that I gave up and now I’ve low level formatted the drive and I’m trying to clean install 10 Pro again- same WHEA error code… the most common reasons I’ve seen for this code are incorrect voltages (ex, CPU spike), hardware issues, driver issues or windows updates.

I’ve reset the BIOS back to defaults, I don’t think drivers or windows updates are the issue since I can’t even get Windows installed, and I’ve installed Windows 7 successfully since all this happened (and plugged in the JamLab device/installed drivers successfully), so if it’s a hardware issue then it must be Windows 10 that doesn’t like it.

What baffles me, is that I was able to install 10 and run the computer with no issues, then ever since I plugged in the USB JamLab device, I can’t reinstall it- is it possible that the USB device somehow caused a hardware issue that only Widows 10 is detecting/complaining about?

BSOD :: OS Crashed And Now Stuck In Restart Loop With Blue Screen?

Aug 11, 2015

Last night I was watching a dvd on my desktop when all of a sudden a blue screen came up with a frowning face and said that "Your computer ran into a problem and needs to restart, its collecting info and will restart." It happened quickly so I didn't see what the error was but now my PC is stuck in a loop where it restarts and loads into an empty blue screen. It stays on that blue screen for a minute or so and then restarts again. I tried going into my BIOS or starting in safe mode but my PC won't go into them.

RTM Freezing Constantly And Loops / Repeats Sound

Jul 30, 2015

So the problem I've been having with Windows 10 is that it is constantly freezing on me and loops the sound over and over until it unfreezes. The computer is unresponsive and acts like it is about to bluescreen but it doesn't. After it unfreezes, it might display a notification that my graphics card driver crashed(Nvidia 353.63 windows 10 64bit). I would really like the freezing to stop and sometimes the freezing lasts up to 5 minutes or even endless!

Forced Updates Causing Endless Crash Loops

Aug 8, 2015

I think we can now all agree: Microsoft ’s hardline policy on Windows 10’s forced updates is silly. Very silly. Since launching nine days ago Windows Update has sent out an unstable graphics driver which switched off monitors, a buggy security patch which corrupted Windows Explorer and there are now a number of reports that a third update is causing Window 10 machines to crash over and over again…

The patch in question is KB3081424 (ironically enough a roll-up of bug fixes) and during its update process affected users find it fails and triggers the message: “We couldn’t complete the updates, undoing the changes.” Undoing them results in a mandatory system reboot, but as soon as the user logs back on Windows 10’s update process kicks in and tries to install KB3081424 again.

I’m sure you’re way ahead of me here, but since Windows 10 updates cannot be stopped KB3081424 tries to install over and over again which leaves systems caught in endless reboot loops.
