I've upgraded one of my computers from Windows 8.1 to 10 and when opening the People app my contacts do show but no picture is shown. In Windows 8.1 the People app could be connected to several social networks and pull contact info. If I access my MS account on the web, the People page still shows my social network connections, but I know that the Facebook integration has been deprecated.

View 2 RepliesI still have Facebook contact information within my Windows 10 People but I'm not being allowed to delete them. I get told that I have to remove them from Facebook first but since we can no longer connect and sync contacts with Facebook, I can't do that either. I'm setting up a new desktop PC and I really want all of that irrelevant contact information to be gone.
View 2 RepliesI've searched around for an answer to this but I couldn't find anything. Does the People App in Windows 10 bring in profile pictures from Facebook? This worked great in Windows 8.1 and all the mobile versions (even WP10 preview) but for some reason all my contacts in the People App have blank pictures and I'm not sure how to get this fixed. I have the Facebook app installed but I'm not sure if there is anything else I need to do. It's annoying seeing all the blank pictures.

View 5 RepliesAny mail that I receive that contains an animated attachment shows as a still i.e. no movement at all. This is not a problem with Outlook mail.
Another problem is the inability to set up a group contact, which is important to me. Again there is no problem with Outlook.
When I click on save button the contact page closes, but the contact is not created in the contact list. I am able to create it from people.live.com and sync it back. Hard reset is the only way? Soft reset doesn't work.

And the new People app and Store (Beta) opens but crashes after a few seconds...
I don't seem to have access to my Yahoo contact list. When I use the People app, I can't add Yahoo to the account list, How can I get access to my contact list in Yahoo? If I use my Gmail account I can't find out how to import my Yahoo contact list.

View 1 RepliesAfter the one month of using Windows 10, will the old Windows folder be deleted along with Windows live mail?If so, is there a way to preserve WLM, I really prefer to keep using this program.I do not know how this contact got into my address book, but I can not delete it.It is the echo sound service from skype. All other contacts can be deleted with a right click and delete, but not this one. I suppose it got added by installing skype.

I AM the administrator! So I went through the process of changing my login to the administrator after Windows 10 put someone I don't know in charge. I'm trying to re-install a wireless HP printer which worked exceptionally well in Windows 8.
When I attempt to install the printer driver I don't have permission. "Contact the administrator" still pops up!
Why do you suppose I'm getting junk emails that show the names of individuals that are in my contact list...but have completely different email addresses?

View 1 RepliesWhen I upgraded to Windows 10 I set up the People App to list my contacts by syncing with my Outlook account. It worked great until this week. Now it attempts to sync followed by a message in red under the account saying attention required. When I attempt to open that account to edit the setting I get a dialog box with error code 0x008072ee2 that says "something went wrong". The only option is to close that window after which the account tries to sync again as the process repeats itself.
How can I delete this account and start over. I have remove the people app and reinstalled it and I have re-registered all of the apps with no success.

View 1 RepliesI followed the instructions, go to settings in the People app and add the account. I have Facebook app installed, it says to download it. I uninstalled Facebook and reinstalled. When you click to add the account it goes to the store and comes up with an error. How do we get this to work?

Get the message that my Browser needs to be updated, click on the message and it tells me my Browser (IE10) is the latest version.
Am using IE instead of Edge due to many Malware instances using Edge... they are not there in IE10.

When displaying contacts - with FB and Twitter installed - clicking on "showing" lets me select contacts from my email accounts but not my social apps.
When clicking on "Get social apps" in settings, I get a message saying Your search for "" had no results.
Works fine (ish) on my Wp10 insider build.
I cannot find out how to remove accounts within the Windows 10 People App.
View 3 RepliesProblems syncing Contacts to one PC - how to fix!? I have the following setup:
- My contacts in the Microsoft Account on the web (People.Live.Com) with Outlook Contacts, Windows Messages, Skype and LinkedIn-integration, works perfectly
- A Lumia 925 with Windows Phone 8.1 and full sync to my account which works fine (including LinkedIn)
- A MS 950XL With Windows Phone 10 and full sync to my account which works fine (without the LinkedIn-integration)
- a PC with Win 10 Prof. which also works fine with all contacts showing up in the "Contact" app on my PC (except the LinkedIn integration)
But then also a laptop with Win 10 home, setup in exactly the same way with the Outlook account, Skype etc. but where the contact sync worked initially BUT HAS NOW STOPPED WORKING!
If I add a new Outlook contact on any of my other devices it syncs with all but the laptop and the same is true for changes of contact data. Somehow the sync function of contacts to the laptop has stopped working!!
I have forced sync but no new contacts show up. The settings in the Contact App on my laptop is the same as on my other PC (same server, same setting on what to collect and how to sync my outlook account, ticking the same boxes on how to filter the contacts etc). I have uninstalled and reinstalled Skype, Messages + Skype-app etc. but cannot make it work. I cannot detect any other differences between the devices and all other things work great.
I set up my Yahoo mail account in the new Windows 10 email but my contacts aren't listed. So, I see I need to add my contacts from Yahoo to the new People App but when I go into the People app, Yahoo isn't listed as an option to import from.
