View 1 RepliesSometimes when I'm gaming online my connection gets lost and my wifi gives me no internet signal but there is internet on my other devices, I solve it by clicking on airplane mode twice (on and off again ) then the Internet comes back . Is there a permanent solution to this ?
View 1 RepliesI even went to the point going to the configure in Network Adapter Settings > Configure > Ticked off Allowed The Computer To Turn Off This Device To Save Power
It worked For 15 minutes or so, then the Wifi kept on dropping out, I've Restarted and Done All The Router Stuff, That Other Blogs Suggested, Still Nothing, Wifi continuously Drives me insane, now it drops to 2 bars of signal all the time.
I also did ipconfig/ flushdns and that didn't work either, though i was hoping it would, but anyway, I have port forwarded my IP so I can play Mine Craft with my cousin, but other than That, why it just drops constantly in wifi signal all the time.
What I can do to get it staying 5/4 bars signal Strength and not drop when I'm watching Netflix or playing Mine Craft or Battlefield 4 Multi Player. what else I can do, if they need my Wire Less info/name of it, it is
Intel(R) Dual Band Wireless-AC 3160
and yes it is up to date in patches and etc... it worked fine even in Windows 7 Home and Windows 8.1 Home, but as soon as I grabbed Windows 10 Home Update, it just keeps on doing this annoying bug.
I upgraded to windows 10 from 8.1, ever since then, my Huawei 173 stopped working. The led light flashes, yet the network signal is not showing, the display hangs and several other issue.
View 1 RepliesI have a workstation with wifi connection. It has worked flawless with Windows 7.
When I did a clean windows 7 install and upgraded to Windows 10, the signal strength varies extremely. Even with two meters between router and wifi card, it might loose connection.
I have tried two netcards and two routers. No problems before, huge problems afterwards.
I did a clean install of Windows 10 Pro x64 on my HP Pavilion dv6t-7000 laptop and now my Wi-Fi drops on me about every 10 minutes then it takes about 1-2 minutes to reconnect. I previously had Windows 8.1 Pro x64 and had no issues on this laptop and I just upgraded a few days ago.
I've installed the correct drivers too. Windows does report something when I attempt a troubleshoot .
EDIT 1:So far I ran a troubleshooting and my internet has been solid for about 4 minutes now since. It solved some gateway error?..
The problem is still there and I have NO wifi yet without it disconnecting.

View 1 RepliesI have installed Windows 10 after having 8.1. I cannot get my printer to work it is a Kodak one wii fii enabled but since installing windows 10 it will not print via wii fii. It has a couple of times printed via the usb cable but more often than not wont print. I wondered if it was anything to do with it picking up which port I am trying to print from. What I can do. Was thinking of getting rid of Windows 10 and going back to 8.1 but dont know how to do it.

View 9 RepliesOk so got a new usb WiFi adapter. I installed the driver first which I downloaded on my phone then transferred to my pc via usb cable. Have tried reinstalling multiple times, still won't work. I'm guessing the problem is there's no win 10 drivers for it. NOTE: I did have a old usb adapter working with no driver before but not even that's working even with drivers uninstalled. The new adapter shows up in device manager with a problem indicated with a code 10.But not in network devices.
View 1 RepliesThe issue is I have a network printer selected as the default in Windows 10. I have the option "Let Windows manage my default printer" turned off. At one point randomly, the default printer goes back to the Adobe PDF as the default.
Steps taken:
* I have checked the registry settings to ensure that the options "let Windows manage my default printer" is switched off. I can confirm this.
* Switched the default printer back to the network printer and performed a reboot. The network printer remains as the default. At some point of the day it goes back to Adobe PDF.
For example, update kb3116908 released.
I don't want to use Windows Update for each system and I need the offline installer. Also can't get from Microsoft Catalog.
Any direct download link from Microsoft?
Basically, after installing windows 10 I turn on the computer, and it works. But my TV which I run through HDMI to my computer shows and says "no signal". SIDE NOTE: when I turn on my computer my computer runs awfully quiet. For a few seconds I hear something get loud but then it dies down.
View 1 RepliesI had my systems set up to store a copy of the stuff I had on OneDrive on the local PC's under Windows 8.1. Since I upgrade to W10 that option has disappeared? Am I missing something? I have Googled and Binged and can't find anything specific to W10 and the W8 explanation ain't there no more in W10! I really liked the ability to access my OneDrive Stuff if/when the internet is down.
View 9 RepliesYooooo! I have a Lenovo Y510p with modified BIOS so I could replace the crappy Intel wireless card that came with it (Intel Centrino N2230) for an Azurewave - Broadcom 4352. The experience has been good so far, the only problem I'm having is the low wireless signal with the card. I have other laptops that have higher range and strengths on the same place with older cards.
I've tried verifying (and even swapping) the cables and noted no difference. I asked on another forum and they told me that it could be that the card is not receiving enough power, but I have yet to find a settings in the BIOS or in Windows that dwindles its performance. I have recently updated the driver from Lenovo's website and it didn't improve a bit. How to improve the wireless signal?
Sometimes when turning pc on I get a popup saying input signal out of range change settings to 1600x900-60hz and when pc comes on everything is magnified then after rebooting several times screen returns to normal?

View 1 RepliesI installed Windows 10 a couple of weeks ago without any incident. However, this week I have noticed that I am unable to play any videos in my hard drive (regardless of format or video player... tried Windows Media Player, VLC, the photos app) or online (like in youtube or facebook). When playing videos on my hard drive, the video player is blank and doesn't play (although VLC shows the filename and the track length just fine). When playing videos through a browser (I use Chrome) the page simply crashes without playing the video.
I have also encountered a browser error where Shockwave Flash isn't responding. I have only one flash player installed so it's likely not a conflict issue on my browser.

just few days back i have installed free updates of windows 10 from windows 7.I thought i am lucky to have windows 10 for free, but now i am in problem.I am unable to play offline downloaded videos through media players. It is not playing smoothly.Videos are stopping automatically and then running by their own and sound is not matching with the videos. I have VLC,KM player,5K player;not a single player is operating . I have checked device manager and updated display adapter but problem not solved.
Specification of my PC :Intel( R) core ™2 CPU 4300 @ 1.80GHz 900 MHz, Ram 2GB,32 bit OS,x 64 based processor,no graphics card installed.
I must mention one thing that i have no issue in playing online videos from YouTube .
After upgrading to Windows 10, I've been having tremendous problems getting my Brother MFC-J430W working wirelessly, installing the latest Windows 8.1 x64 drivers from their website works fine and it detects the printer through wireless right away.
My problems with it are the Printer constantly says its offline under the Windows 10 printing tab however the Brother's icon shows the device connected and ready and even shows me the current ink levels. The only way I can currently print a document is by restarting my computer, and very quickly sending a document to print before it goes offline again. So basically the printer only seems to connect online when I restart the computer but goes offline within a minute or two, I didn't experience this issue in Windows 8.1 x64.
last night i started the auto upsate to Windows 10 from windows 8 and It restarteded a few Times and everything seemed Good, so i went to sleep and leet the computer run.
So when i Woke up this morning i went to the computer to test Windows 10 now when i tought IT Was installed. But nothing happen so i tried to restart but still No signal. I have tried to restart the bios from cmos battery but still nothing.
After upgrading from windows 8.1 to 10, my monitor stopped working, showing a "no signal" error then popping to black screen. The computer works I can hear it running when I power on, but the monitor shows nothing.
I tried to remove the CMOS battery for a few minutes (something I read from another thread), but didn't work.
