Recycle Bin Unable To Be Displayed?

I have tried selecting the Recycle Bin check box in Desktop Icon settings but it fails to take. Whilst it is checked I have tried clicking Apply. However, close out the Desktop Icon settings and reopen to find the checkbox is again unchecked. Right Clicking space on the Desktop and selecting View reveals that Show Desktop Icons is active. I have tried deselecting and reselecting to no avail. I've tried the sequence some five times, all with the same results.

I'm having an issue where I'm unable to download/update any apps from the windows 10 store (on the Minix Z64 mini PC). I have tried everything which has been suggested in various other forums (including Microsoft's). The error code displayed is 0x803f7000
I have tried the following with no success:
- Checking date/time/region (all correct)
- Reset the windows store with WSRESET.EXE (multiple times)
- Ran the windows 10 store troubleshooter app
- Synced the internet time server

I was recently having some problems with widows 10 so I had the bright idea to Rest my PC using the options in the settings. I then chose to "Keep my files" as I have documents that I would like not to be deleted. So I let this run and nothing out of the ordinary occurred and everything seemed to be going well. Eventually the OS boots up and I get just the the windows 10 background (the one with 4 blue windows tiles). I see this and nothing else. No windows button, no desktop apps, and my keyboard does nothing, ie no ctrl+alt+del does anything. All I have displayed is my internet connection and the ease of access button. I do have a cursor though, but it is useless as right clicking or left clicking does nothing.

Is it possible to change the displayed title of folders, which have been pinned to the Quick Access list to something other than that of the folder-name itself? IOW, change it to a title of my choosing.
I do realize I could simply change the folder-name itself, but that's less than ideal under this system's circumstances since this it has specific folders backed up daily, and they occasionally need to be restored, which would overwrite this change each time a backup was applied.

When I double click to open a folder I get an extra pane on the right side that is useless to me and takes up real-estate.
How to I change the view options to eliminate that extra pane.
Attached are 2 images - one showing the extra pane, and the other showing how I'd like my folder views displayed.

In Windows 7 we had the option of selecting which icons were permanently or only displayed when they had a notification in the taskbar. I haven't been able to find where the option is to change the settings in Windows 10, is there one?

After inserting audio CD there is a small popup briefly displayed at bottom right.
" Tap to choose what happens with audio CDs"
If I tap, it then displays a popup at top right which says
Choose what to do with Audio CDs
It then lists 4 options:
VLC,
Windows Media Player
Dropbox
Take no action
How do I add a 5th option ? (ie another program which is installed on my PC)
I want the choice of 5 options to bedisplayed every time I insert an audio CD.

Is there a way to change the way the folders and files are displayed in My Documents?
I recently upgraded to 10 but I have a slight issue with 'My Documents'. Most of my files are in folders in My Documents and in Windows 7 I was able to filter by most recent updated with folders listed first followed by the documents which are not saved in folders. I have not found a way to duplicate this convenient display in 10.

I am running Widows 10 Pro, 64-bit with 3 monitors using an Nvidia GeForce GTX 780 Ti graphics card and have an Intel 7i-4930K CPU with 32 gig of RAM. For the Taskbar and Start Menu Properties I have it configured so that it shows all taskbars on all displays.
The behavior that currently exists is that if I launch an application from any monitor it opens on the one it was last open on. For example, if I have Notepad open on monitor 3, close it, launch the application from monitor 1 it actually opens on monitor 3.
The behavior I would like is for the application to open on the monitor I launch it from. For example, if I have Notepad open on monitor 3, close it, launch the application on monitor 1 it is displayed on monitor 1. It would be wonderful if I could launch Notepad on monitor 1 and have it display there, launch Notepad on monitor 2 and have it display there and finally launch Notepad on monitor 3 and have it display there.
Is this possible and/or a setting I just am not aware of in Windows 10? Granted, Notepad is not the most exciting application but it was just an example.

When I turn on the computer each day, I get a message "The Recycle Bin on G: is corrupted. Do you want to empty the Recycle Bin for this Drive?" Drive G is where I have my Passport external drive for backup.

I've upgrade to windows10 on my asus transformer T100 CHI. Everything works fine. As I upload a picture of my desktop, you can see that the recycle bin is in the upper left corner and I can't move it to another place. I don't know what cause that, and when I'm trying to drug the icon to another place, I'm getting and option to create a shortcut for the recycle bin but not move it to another place. I've checked and the icons are not align to grid.

I am trying to delete whole recycle bin. As I highlight, right click and delete, a box called running actions comes up with a green bar showing the delete process. However the delete process does not finish and I now have 5 running actions boxes up. it has been like this for 4 days now and it seems there are no deletions.

I got the free Windows 10 upgrade yesterday and everything seemed to work really well until I tried using the Search Bar.The problem is that although search results are returned (The indexing seems to be correct) the images displayed under the Photos section are mostly missing their thumbnails which makes the feature pretty useless.Some images have thumbnails but most don't and it isn't any specific file type that does or not display it just seems random.

When opening this link to a pdf-file in Edge, figure 1 is incomplete. When opening the same link in Chrome, it is complete.
- How to verify on another computer that the figure is incomplete in Edge?
- Is it a bug of Edge, or is the pdf-file corrupt?
I am surprised because many years ago the pdf-format guaranteed that a printed document was identical to the original.

I have recently upgraded my HP G62-b32sa laptop from Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit to Windows 10. I have set up two Outlook email accounts in the Windows 10 Mail app. In emails on both accounts, I receive the following error message in any area where an image should be:
"The linked image cannot be displayed. The file may have been moved, renamed, or deleted. Verify that the link points to the correct file and location."
This is accompanied with a small red cross in the upper left corner.
To rectify this I have reset Windows 10, but the problem still persists. I also notice online that this issue has been persistent with Office Outlook 2010, but trying solutions (such as deleting Temp folder) do not work in Windows 10 Mail.
EDIT: I created a new local user account, and set up my email in the Mail app. Surprisingly, the pictures work! So now the question is, why are the pictures not showing up in my user account?
