Have 6 month old pc that runs very quick with ssd and win10 , a week ago started to get slow loading webpages and some not at all.
Have used defender which did find something on my wifes user and cleaned it and then nothing after or on MWB . PC is generally running as fast as ever and fibre is coming in at 40/20mb .
Today I have installed Win10 Pro edition and I'm currently trying it out. I have encountered this massive problem: Some web pages do not load! Some pages are completely fine (this one, facebook, stackoverflow, few other forums I visit...), but some are terrible. (ESPN, for example)
When I try to access the page this is what I get:I have tried: Chrome, Firefox, Edge and IE. Same result no matter which browser.I try accessing this page on my laptop running Windows 7 and everything looked fine and as usual.
I'm using an Intel SSD 240GB 520 series. Always loading very fast, i.e., about 8 seconds from cold boot.
Since windows 10 is installed, boot time is about 20 seconds and desktop icons take some time to refresh and load their images.
Regarding the boot time: I've narrowed it down the an unexplained read/write access on my external HDD eSATA which is used for backups, though currently all backup process are stopped.
When I remove / turn off my external HDD, boot time is about 8 seconds. I can't figure out why all of a sudden it required this access to this HDD.
As for the slow icon refresh.. how to fix this.
Some webpages are not loading for a day. I'm using just about every browser like Maxthon, Mozzila Firefox, Chrome and opera and Internet Explorer and the problem appears again. Sometimes is fixed via pc restart only.
Why is happening and what should i do? I'm also trying to clean the browser cache but not always fixed. Is it something wrong with my pc?
Normally when i use the net all is fine. Noticed today when i run a video convertor programme in the background the loading of web pages is extremely slow. Stop Freemake video convertor and page loading is normal speed. I assumed it was memory, did memtest and no errors found. CPU monitor sits on 100%. Had similar problem with Villisoft last week. Time for a new CPU methinks but having said that would 100% cpu usage slow down webpage loading to that degree.

It would load my desktop slowly or freeze if I leave it the I see the mouse with the loading icon and it will load for an hour. I try restarting multi times. I also went into safe mode and it loads fine I disabled all my auto start up programs and tried logging in normally and still takes the same amount of time. This hasn't happened since a month or two ago.. I also tried turning off the fast boot thing.Also I want to try reinstalling windows ten how can I go about doing so if I don't own the disc becasue the upgrade offer. I can only use my pc in safe mode as its not starting up correctly.

When I restart windows the boot went well, after that, a blue loading screen with a loading circle in the middle take too much time to load. It takes around 5-7 minutes before the Login appears (the login where you enter your password).
Is there a way to fix it and to make it faster? 5-7 minutes is too long. (I already have Fast Boot checked)

Ok so since upgrading from 7 to 10 file explorer has been a absolute nightmare! Everything was either incredibly slow, didn't happen or only partially load. After enduring this to this day I have decided enough is enough and started diagnosing by limiting the startup services using MSconfig.
After going through enabling startup services groups at the time and restarting the computer everytime! Eventually I found the service that was causing the problems with file explorer. The service is called Windows search and once disabled it restored functionality to file explorer. The search function in file explorer works but the search in the taskbar doesn't.
Step by step guide:
1. Hold Win+r to open run
2. Type msconfig and hit ok or enter
3. Click Services
4. Navigate to Windows search (you can sort the list in descending alphabetical order)
5. Uncheck tickbox
6. Click apply then ok
7. Select to restart now
I installed Windows 10 last week as an upgrade from Windows 7, and the internet part is working good. But something with the file explorer didn't work. The Document, Pictures, Music, and Video files are still there, but the thumbnails load slowly, or not at all. If it means anything, there's a green bar that slowly moves across the top of the screen.

Any way to get Firefox to go faster?
Yesterday, after getting infected with malware, I decided to freshly reinstall windows 10 on my computer. However, after reinstalling it, I noticed that my bootup was very slow. During the windows logo part of the bootup, the screen flashes once, and the loading circle of dots becomes slow and low quality. Afterwards, the screen turns black for ~40 seconds, and then I get to the login screen.. And sometimes, I get that issue after logging in.

Why do programs like Paint and Photoshop take FOREVER to load? It's not like my computer slows down as they are loading either. My computer is running well without any issues, but this is still a problem. I was part of the Insider Program and I am up-to-date. Also, the Photos program can't edit any files because of their "file types." This happens to ALL file types.

Sometimes it takes ten to thirty seconds to open webpages with the dreaded spinning circle. It would be a while before I could clean install due to lack of funds but I wonder if it's my 25/25 internet or just edge being the culprit?

I get the web page for about 5 or 6 seconds then a white screen and the message " web page not responding" after I reload the same message. After 3 tries I get a page from Microsoft telling me they will not try anymore to prevent a cycle. This happens ABOUT 98% OF THE TIME. Also..running w/o add ons..I have reset I.E...Cleared caches..deleted history,cookies, ect. Have tried debugging on and off. Restarted in safe mode with no change. Tried Chrome..no change. The right half of every video (even a gif) on webpages, or even in the intel graphics control panel, is glitched, like in the pictures.This doesn't happen for youtube videos or when playing .mkv files for example, but it happens on facebook when the videos are autoplayed. know the difference when rendering these "background" videos, but these seem to be the problem.

I've been experiencing an issue regarding opening up any web pages whatsoever for almost a week now. I have tried everything I can possibly think of, contacted my ISP, reset my router, updated the router firmware, tested my connection with a different router, run cmd to flush dns, reset log, you name it. Every device I connect via WiFi doesn't work either but the strangest of all is that my torrents downloads at its optimal download speed. I cannot understand what the problem is.
I did however test my router on a friend's adsl line and it gave the same problem whereas he's router wasn't giving any problems. I then decided that my router was at fault but then I did a test with a spare router to find the same problem - shows that there is a Internet connection, I am able to connect any device via WiFi and make use of my social networks but as far as browsing the web is concerned, whether it be on my desktop, laptop, phone, I just am not able to do that. My Antivirus is unable to update, my windows isn't updating, nothing works except for being able to use Facebook and twitter and whatsapp. I was concerned that 2 different routers could have the ecat same problem.
After the System Reset for Windows 10 on my Laptop, it is not displaying webpages correctly on Internet Explorer 11. Below is the screenshot.

I've tried updating the network adapters, setting the DNS properties for ipv4 to manual DNS with 8.8.8.8 and alt DNS 8.8.8.4, I've tried using a windows repair to scan for issues with the registry, I've tried disabling admin approval, firewalls, and antivirus.
I'm at a loss as to why only a select few of websites I can't reach. I live with 4 roommates who each have laptops and are able to access all the mentioned websites no problem using chrome, IE, and Safari. We can all also use our smartphones to access these websites using the same wifi as my laptop with no issues.

View 14 RepliesI just installed Windows 10. I'm having problems loading many of the websites I used to visit when I had Windows 8.1 installed. I'm getting the message "There is a problem with this website’s security certificate." with Internet Explorer and Microsoft Edge just shuts down when certain websites are accessed, Wikipedia and pbase.com for example.
Also, Facebook won't display any images or allow me to upload images.
When I boot up windows 10 it goes into a loading screen with a purple (my accent color) background and loads forever. This was completely random after a normal restart, it had worked fine up till now.
I made a windows 10 installation disk to acess repair options. Tried every single option on it with no luck (including scf scan, dskchk, and other CMD prompts) every one gives some sort of error or reason for not working, what can I do? I can get the specific error messages for a few methods if needed but it's very time consuming as my usb stick keeps giving an error after a few reboots of messing with command prompts, and I have to redownload windows 10 let it verify and copy over to the drive which is an hour long process.
Why my Windows 10 is not displaying any results when I press SUPER and start typing? Doesn't give me any result, even settings or notepad.
