It also says "Audio Service is not running" but I checked under "services" and it clearly is (and I can hear audio!). I even restarted it to be sure.

View 2 RepliesMy original os is win7 then i upgraded to 10... After a while of using it... It opens the Blue screen saying unmountable boot volume.. Also i dont have win7 cd since the os was built in...
Next i rebooted it, it says "preparing automatic repair" i tried to wait.. But after it says that, it goes to a black screen and nothing happens
Then i tried dloading the iso from the site and then burned it to a usb.. Then it says
Press any key to boot from USB
*presses any key*
BOOTMGR is missing
Press ctrl+alt+delete to restart
Is the problem in the usb or it just wont open because of the error?

Cant open my laptop due to this so i cant really attach the needed files..

Some days its there and its fine but other days I cant seem to locate it and going in and manually disabling it and re-enabling it does nothing. The pictures below show my task-bar without an icon and the next picture shows that its on, I have switched it on and off and it does not appear.

When I go through Properties to turn those icons on or off the Sound option is grayed back.

I went into Properties, Notification area 'Customize', Turn System Icons On or Off, see that the Volume is turned off, but it's greyed out and I can't turn it on. I can't figure out how to activate this switch so I can flip it on.

View 1 RepliesI am currently running Windows 8.1 and the Windows 10 icon is missing. I have tried everything that I have seen online to try get it to appear. I am up to date with everything on windows and all the requirements are met. Is there anything else I can try to get it back. Or has the free upgrade expired?
View 1 RepliesAfter upgrade to w10 the sound via the HDMI port went missing. On this machine you press a button to switch from PC Mode to Game Mode, which activates the HDMI port where the PVR is plugged in. When viewing a PVR program (TV show), the video is perfect but there is no sound. I have updated drivers, rolled back drivers, & tried everything I can think of.(besides the PVR audio).I have an HP Omni 27 1055 Desktop PC.
