Transfer Bookmarks From Old Laptop To New One
Jan 15, 2016I've got all my old laptop's bookmarks stored in HTML format in an email I sent myself. But I don't know how to get that whole list into my new laptop's Firefox bookmarks.

In my old windows I could easily "send to" any photo and transfer it to a disc or memory stick, but I am so lost and frustrated on the new windows 10. Jan 31, 2016I tested the internal HDD with CrystalDiskMark and was able to get 109 MBPS both on sequential read and write tests. Then, when I tested my 1 TB WD My Passport USB 3.0 External HDD with CrystalDiskMark the sequential read and write speed did not exceed 40 MBPS the few times I tried. Got similar 30-40 MBPS speed when transferring movies from external HDD to internal HDD.So far, I have tried updating the external HDD and USB 3.0 Controller drivers. Tried with 'USB selective suspend setting' disabled (Under Power Plan Options). Also tried with write caching enabled. But havent been able to solve the issue.My laptop is running Win 10 Home 64-Bit. I am sure I used the USB 3.0 port. And, I used the USB 3.0 cable supplied with the external HDD. I don't have another USB 3.0 device so cannot figure out whether the issue is with my laptop of the external HDD.'

Feb 10, 2016I install yesterday xmark for IE and I merge bookmarks from both browsers : firefox-explorer. Can I restore original bookmarks of explorer? Also I work to a second pc with win 10. Some how appears and in IE 11 some bookmarks that I try to delete but after restart appears again. I try to delete with right click or delete the folder of favourite in my pc but every time reappears.

Yes, did create system image but did not preserve C:users (-> U:) *. Even the old folder no longer had my bookmarks, and moving the old passwd and master key file did not allow Moz to figure it out.**
* I don't want users on my SSD drive -- I add/delete stuff WAYYY too often, so it sits on a spinny drive and is connected via a junction point.
** electronic god(desse)s for even a 7-month-old backup, so I didn't lose that much in terms of moz config.

But also to add I imported Google Bookmarks from my phone into the bookmarks also. So I had all my bookmarks in one place. But the Edge bookmarks were only saved on Edge and I can't remember those important websites I need.

Feb 10, 2016My old computer was a windows 8 that was upgraded to windows 10. I just ordered a new i5 6600 which comes with windows 10, a 250G SSD and 1 TB hard drive.. My old hard drive appears to be a Seagate Barracuda 1TB SATA which seems to be the same as the one in my new Vanquish. My old hard drive is 2/3 full and is backed up often. My question is can I move this old hard drive to my new computer as a separate drive without formatting it and use the data on it (or transfer my data) or does it need to be formatted (thus giving me roughly 2 TB of space with the 1 TB provided with the computer). It was my C: drive in the old computer.

I was originally using one to store my files, as I have a 120gb SSD as a boot drive, and don't have enough space to store my 500+ gigs of games, after effects files and the like. When moving my files to a backup disk, it hangs like this or it says something along the lines of '0 bytes per second - more than 1 day remaining' I left it like that for quite a while (14 hours) and it hasn't moved.
