Jan 2, 2016I've just noticed a feature which I don't think was present on Windows 7, but is on Windows 10.When a pop-up window is opened by an application the window is not aligned with the top left corner of the screen, it is slightly padded to the right. This seems to affect both pop-ups from browsers and from other applications (i.e Tkinter python frames).
Is there a way to prevent this from happening? I have written a program that interacts with an application that creates these kinds of pop-ups and my program is expecting the windows to be about 7 pixels to the left of where they are appearing.... This can be tested by turning off your ad blocker and going to URL...
Mouse Keeps Flashing To Top Left Corner
Oct 1, 2015I am having troubles with my mouse. I am currently on Windows 10 and have just encountered a problem. It started when I closed down a tab and the mouse flashed to the top left corner of my screen, now as soon as I move the mouse it instantly moves it back. Something weird is sometimes when I open up a different tab for example a game, the mouse does the exact same thing but in the middle of the screen. I have tried unplugging and re-plugging the mouse back in AND Turning On and Off The Snap On mouse feature.

Aug 16, 2015I just upgraded to Windows 10 from Windows 7 and I have a 2 monitor setup. I like to drag/drop windows from one monitor to the other, but Windows 10 has a barrier it seems right in the top corners. If I'm on the left monitor, and I go to drag a window to the right monitor, it will hang in the top right corner of the left monitor and not move, until I move the cursor down slightly, then it'll let me move it. Is there a way to remove that stopgap so I can move windows freely from one monitor to the other without having to go around the top corner?

All my windows used to have the menus (file, edit, view...etc.) on the left and the (X) to close the window on the right. for all my windows like control panel and my computer. But now they are reversed (X) on the left and menus are on the right.

Nov 27, 2015I have the problem, that Windows 10 is really annoying when it comes to balloon tips when you are in tablet mode. Every few touches, Windows shows non relevant tooltips when you touche the screen, mostly from the start menu. I already have tried to do this:

Jan 27, 2016Recently I have wired to screens up as dual screens, they were working fine at day 1 but after the left screen (main monitor) has started turning itself off completely.
As soon as I boot, the screen goes black and I am greeted with the screen startup logo, then "no signal detected" Windows will only pick up the one screen (right monitor) until I restart the screen from the plug. My main monitor is connected via HDMI from the GPU into the screen, and the other DVI to HDMI adapter, again from the GPU, The weird thing is no matter what I try, it will always be the left screen, I have tried:
Swapping the screen over with another
Changing plug sockets,
System Refresh
Swapping screen power supplies
installing drivers
swapping HDMI cables
I can only assume it's something to do with Windows, but what is it?

Aug 17, 2015I just updated my display driver to the latest from Nvidia. Now the left half of the display is darker than the right half. I tried uninstalling the driver and reinstalling, but the problem remains.
The driver is Nvidia 355.60 WHQL , and yes my display card in on the list of supported cards. This is the driver for Windows 10 64 bit and my Nvidia GTS 450.
I have never seen this issue before and I don't know if it is Windows 10 or the Nvidia driver causing the problem.

There is a black strip on the left hand side of my screen. The other post was on a MS forum they theorized it had to do with the Intel HD device driver. I did not have this problem with Windows7. Hope the graphic card I have coming will fix this.
