View 1 RepliesI just upgraded from 8.1, to windows 10 today.Everything seems fine at the moment, except when I open the store, and try to download an app, I go to the page and it gives me this constant 'loading sign'. It doesn't seem to end, and I don't see any option to download my app/game.
View 1 RepliesI'm planning to download gears of war on my windows 10 and with my current network connection, it will take a lot of time to download it. so I wanted to know if the store downloads are resumable after shutting the PC down.
View 3 RepliesIs there any way, so that I can stop automatic download of Windows apps from the Store. Since "New apps will save to" button is greyed out and I don't want space to filled with apps or can it be turned to manual check.
View 3 RepliesWindows 10 Store gives error 0x803F8003 when trying to download/update apps
Note: the error appears right after it shows acquiring license.
Every time i open my store on Windows 10 i can search for things but once i click on the on the app i want the store page totally goes away. what should i do? i am trying to download a media player on my pc so i can watch movies on it.
View 1 RepliesIt's been stuck like this for a couple of days.
It was working fine before that.
I think it stopped working after the cumulative update.
EDIT: The solution is:
1. Open the start menu.
2. Type msconfig.
3. Open "System configuration"
4. Select "Normal boot."
5. Restart computer.
i'm having an issue with downloading apps from win 10 store. That is bassicaly what i get every single time. They did provide me with steps to follow, first two didn't find/fix any issues, third one i couldn't execute due to an error which i don't understand and therefore cannot fix on my own.
View 1 RepliesI have just upgraded to Windows 10, and I was trying to install Netflix and Skype and both of them weren't downloading. Then I clicked on the download icon in the top right and it showed a lot of downloads pending and a few were "Downloading" it said how big the install was and the progress. 0.0MB even after waiting it didn't go up a bit.
The situation:
I have an Ethernet connection directly to my router. I use windows 10 64 Bit version Home. I live in the Netherlands but in order to use Cortana changed Region to United states.
I have tried changing it back to Netherlands seeing if that would change anything but it didn't.
I have left the store running for a few hours now. Still nothing but I did get a message with a few apps "Give us a few minutes"
And when I click see details it shows an error code 0x8024001e
Is it possible? If so, how?
View 1 RepliesGetting an error in the Store when trying to download apps?
I keep getting error 0xC0EA000A when trying to install any app. It goes 'acquiring licence' then says 'try that again' every time.
I tried wsreset from an elevated Command Prompt with no joy. Is there anything I should try with PowerShell perhaps?

View 1 RepliesI cant download any apps from the windows 10 store. It gives me a try that again error code. I noticed that i am using version 2015.7.1.1 of app store and my mums pc is on a newer one.
View 1 RepliesI'm having an issue where I'm unable to download/update any apps from the windows 10 store (on the Minix Z64 mini PC). I have tried everything which has been suggested in various other forums (including Microsoft's). The error code displayed is 0x803f7000
I have tried the following with no success:
- Checking date/time/region (all correct)
- Reset the windows store with WSRESET.EXE (multiple times)
- Ran the windows 10 store troubleshooter app
- Synced the internet time server
I have a 240GB SSD so I like to be careful about space allocated to my games. With Steam games it is easy to just copy the game folder to an external HD when I'm not playing it then moved it back when I fancy playing it.
However, I purchased Rise of the Tomb Raider from the Windows Store and that option doesn't seem doable - the game installed itself into a folder inside C:/Program Files/WindowsApps which isn't viewable unless I taken ownership (I already messed up all my metro apps doing this but fortunately I had a recent disk image to recover from it).
Any way to either change the location of the game installation or an easy way to backup and restore the game files?
How can i install games from Microsoft store without been installed to All Programs Start window and instead to be installed as big tile in the start screen in windows 10?
View 3 RepliesSo recently Windows 10 came out and I manually downloaded the Media Creation tool and started upgrading my PC BUT I had to turn it off and all of the data that it downloaded has taken up my small amount of space in my SSD (I only have 16 GB left) where does this tool store all of it's data so I could delete it.
View 9 RepliesI am having some trouble getting the default store apps to work. As for the store itself, it used to briefly show the splash then crash. Now it is just an unknown file type that doesn't do anything when clicked. I have tried some of the more common fixes, like the powershell re-register scripts, but none work, all returning errors of one kind or another. At this point, would it just be easier to "Reset this PC", or is there another fix I may not have tried?
View 8 RepliesI have windows 10 on my laptop when I go to the store app I try to install but it wont download...
View 1 Replies I bought a Dell inspiron I15RV laptop 2 years ago. It had windows 8, i upgraded to windows 8.1. The store was working fine. I was able to download apps and games. But unfortunately, few months ago my store stopped working. I tried almost everything but reset the computer. I did the wsreset.exe, sfc /scannow, restart the pc, etc but those didn't fix the issue. Even when I went to microsoft forums, the webpage does not load properly.
I thought upgrading to Windows 10 home might fix the issue. So I upgraded. But still, the issue is persisting and I'm unable to download apps and games from windows app store. And also the microsoft forum pages don't load properly. I am attaching some screenshots ..... One more thing, I have waited like 3 hours and it is still showing 0.0 mb downloaded in the app store.
So I can open the app store and search for apps as long as its not in the search bar but as soon as I decide what app I want and click on it to download it closes the app store. Same thing happens when I try to use the search bar in the app store.
View 1 RepliesWhere does the windows store download games to?
View 4 RepliesToday I tried to install a game from the Windows store and it wont download. I noticed that there were 4 apps trying to update as well, but none of them were moving. When I tried to pause or cancel them, the store would freeze. I restarted my computer which allowed me to pause and cancel, but the apps still down download. Even if its just one at a time. Is it a bug? Is there a workaround?
View 1 RepliesI am unable to download *.xap files from store as Microsoft has changed the store layout. Previously. Before the Launch of Windows-phone 10, it worked for me.
View 1 RepliesI cant download anything from the windows 10 store.
View 1 RepliesEvery time I open a game that I run in borderless windowed or windowed mode, I get this stupid "Game Bar" garbage.
I did a little research, and it seems you can stop it from auto-opening in windowed games by opening the Xbox "app" and disabling it from there. However, whenever I open the Xbox "app", I'm asked to log in with a Microsoft Account. I do not want to do this because I don't have a MS Account, nor do I want one. And it seems that even if you log in with a Microsoft Account, you're forced to create an Xbox Gamertag before you can access the settings.
How do I stop this garbage "Game Bar" without a Xbox/Microsoft Account?
