Why A Link For App Doesn't Lead To The Store - Page Is Not Available
Dec 27, 2015
Yesterday When I found that 4Shared universal app is out, and clicked the link at the end of the article, it went to "Web Page is not available". Same thing happened today with "everquotes" app. And when I tried to find these apps in the app store, I couldn't. Is it an issue or there is another way to open up these links ?
How do I turn off the mouse auto click when it hovers over a link in a web page. I downloaded the windows 10 and it has started doing this. I can't find a thing anywhere about this issue. I have an Asus laptop and a Toshiba laptop and they are both doing this since getting the windows 10. I spend more time going back to my original page than I get to read the original page! Try shopping and reading a description. Taking a test online was challenging to say the least.
I have the Corsair RM1000i, and the Corsair H110i GT. Individually they work in corsair link, but I just mounted both with the USB-cable, and when I open Corsair Link, I can't change anything with the H110i GT, and the power-usage thing for the RM1000i is stuck, it does not work.
Windows 10 went wrong Again! First I lost all my favorites, then my Computer experienced exceptions (what ever they are?) followed by random Crashes.
So I did a clean install using my ISO disc and tried to Install Page Plus X4 which was working fine before but it won't work now, even though I installed the latest patch.
I get told its an incompatible Programme, even though it worked OK before I did a clean install, with a note that says that Microsoft are looking for a Solution (you could have fooled me!) also I did the bit about using the Settings that worked on a Previous Programme but that didn't fix it either.
Also uninstalled and re installed the Programme but that didn't work either as did installing net framework.
Also when I get new emails, I am no longer getting advised of any new emails, so I have to keep checking my email box myself.
I looks like I may have to do yet another Clean Install.
I've tried turning off the Automatic Updates but that doesn't seem to work (maybe I'm doing it wrong, so how do I do that).
I loaded the windows 10 upgrade on my HP G60 notebook and now the desktop home page just flashes between blank and showing my desktop icons. I am unable to do anything else with it. I have tried all the shutdowns and reboots but nothing is working. So basically I have a useless laptop that im not too happy about. I should also mention that I was running windows 7
I keep getting a "Can't Reach this Page" tab at top. Also, I have an Etsy On-Line store, which worked perfectly until I upgraded to Win 10. Now it is sooooo slow to load anything, switch between pages, etc, (plus this "Can't Read Page" pops up). I ran a SFC/scannow and it said everything checked out fine.
Woke up this morning to find that on my desktop the Store keeps saying "Check Your Connection" and prompting me to reload the page. Meanwhile, Cortana can't pull up interests. It's not an actual connectivity issue, since web+email+everything else works just fine (I'm posting from the same computer now). Tried the obvious things, plus a sfc /scannow with no luck. BTW, I'm not using Insider builds, but I tried to move to it just to see if a new build would fix my PC and it says "Something went wrong, we don't know what." Perhaps that issue is connected as well. It's odd, because nothing has changed recently.
After I upgraded to Windows 10 I am unable to click on any link in Outlook 2003. I get a popup that says "Locate link browser". I searched for a solution and read that I needed to associate it with IExplore.exe. After doing that, now whenever I click a link it opens IExplore to my home page. How I can resolve this error and get it to go to the URL rather than just opening IExplore?
Instructions I found were these but don't seem to apply to Windows 10:
On the desktop, double-click My Computer. On the Tools menu, click Folder Options, and then click the File Types tab.In the Registered File Types list, click URL:HyperText Transfer Protocol, click Advanced, and then click Edit.In the Actions box, type open.In the Application used to perform action box, locate Internet Explorer (Iexplore.exe), and then click Open.In the Application box, type IExplore, and then click OK.
When I try and open my store in windows 10 it will just pop up really quick then go away. And when I try and open any of my apps it tells me that they can't be opened and to go to the App Store to fix but I can't open the app store. I have tried every fix out there that I could find and no luck.
Few days ago I updated to windows 10 from windows 7 pro. My system was working fine for first few days. One morning I found that the system stop working suddenly. When I click on start menu, it forces me log out. If click on app store, it shows 'critical error' message. I read some online threads and administered few commands prompt as well but problem remained the same. I am using norton internet security. I am not sure if it is related to this problem. However I found someone threads about avast antivirus relating to this issue.
Since upgrading to Windows 10 from 7, I ran into the same issue as [URL] ....
So I tried the catalyst scaling option for my desktop and this seemed to fix the issue for mostly everything, desktop and most games, However, the problem still seems to arise with some games I try to play, such as Xcom Enemy Within or Dawn of War 2. Changing resolution in these games doesn't appear to have any effect, the image is still falling off the screen, I use my desktop on a 32 inch TV as opposed to a monitor via HDMI, and keep it set to 1600x900 as opposed to its native 1920x10180, but even leaving it at 1920 has the same effect.
I have my specs on a dxdiag file, dunno where to upload it here, but I'm using a AMD Radeon R9 200 Series on an Asus I built.
I'm running Windows 10 Home RTM 10240. I originally upgraded from Windows 7 Home Premium on August 11, 2015 but because my Start Menu and Windows Store stopped working a few days ago, I had to do a in-place reinstall which fixed everything and all the apps including Windows Store and Start menu work on my only account on the system which is a Administrator account. However, when I create a new account, some of the apps don't work and usually, they can be fixed with downloading from Windows Store but unfortunately, Windows Store doesn't open in the newly created accounts, I have already tried the following:
I also found that apps reinstalled using in Administrative Powershell:
Will work as a app but the live tiles will not work and grey out even though it will open the app while reinstalling the apps individually in Administrator Powershell using the package names in C:Program FilesWindowsApps will install the app completely and Live tiles will work, seems like the previous method is only partially installing each app using the Movies & TV App as a example:
It appears that many sites are referencing C:WindowsWinStore as the Windows Store app installation directory except it doesn't exist on my system as Windows Store is actually in
My windows 10 store doesn't open. When I click it, the blue screen comes up meaning its loading but it closes while loading. I had restarted my laptop and it continues to happen.
I have a desktop computer, it was working fine almost a year and now from a few days I am having a serious issue and that is when using my computer (generally or during gaming) it displays an error i.e PAGE_FAULT_FOUND_IN_NON_PAGED_AREA. The screen turns pink and the edges are green (that's probably because of the resolution as I use 3840x2160 so the error kinds of destorts) but that's not the real issue, the main problem is the error itself.

I've had no response to my previous query. But must ask this again as it is very annoying. I have a radio site on my desktop that I listen to. Now when I want to go to another URL address that particular link will not open up. I. E. I want to open [URL]. The only way I can access it (while my radio link is on) is to exit my radio link then click on the URL link for Ancestry.com. It is not the only link that will not work while I already have one other open, all other links will not open also.
I would like to know is there a way to link inboxes in the windows 10 mail app same as windows phone? And why does the mail tile is not updating even thou live tile is switched on?
I have pinned explorer to my taskbar. I have added links to my explorer icon on the taskbar. (Such as Z:Games and Z:Movies)
But when I right-click the explorer icon, then left-click the link nothing happens. I can hear that my hdd starts working. (It does that stereotypical hdd-noise.) But nothing happens.
I have three grumbles. One, why is the Favorites panel on the right side? What benefit did that create? How to move it to the Left? Can't be done?
Two: My favorites are not alpha sorted by me. On my IE browser, they were arranged and listed by frequency of use, and importance in my work. Edge default sorts them alpha anyway. Can I Stop this unwanted sort feature? Three, I like my favorites panel to come up with the browser, and not want to click on another icon to show it.
I want to add shortcut link of one of the folder location to "Quick Access" in Windows 10 x64.
In the case of Windows 10 x86 I used to put my shortcut link in the folder "C:Usersuser_nameLinks" & it showed me shortcut in favorites at left side. Also it works using this command :
I want to do same thing for Windows 10 x64. So I try to use that command on Windows 10 x64 also I have tried to directly copy shortcut & pasted into the location of Quick Access.
But, still it's not showing in left panel of Quick Access.
So, how to do that on Windows 10 x64 ? (or perhaps through Registry) ?.
if I right click on my music icon in explorer I can change the location of its contents in the location tab which I was trying to do, as I have my Mp3s in a music folder on my D Drive.
whilst trying to do that I accidentally moved it to the desktop location of my use folder. So now both the Desktop and music icons in my explorer are both linked to the same location, (users/username/music) and the desktop link in my user folder has gone.
I am using the Edge Browser, and I find sending a link via e mail cumbersome. I am using outlook 2010, is there a " Correct" or easy way to send a link via e mail and it was in IE ?
I made an error when Outlook asked me which browser I wanted links to open to. I entered Internet Explorer. Now, when I click a link in Outlook, it opens to my IE Homepage and not the link page.
