View 3 RepliesJust upgraded to Win 10 this morning, everything was smooth except for one thing: my Logitech Bluetooth keyboard and mouse stopped working. Looks like there's an error with the Broadcom Bluetooth USB driver, which is already the latest and greatest according to Windows, which obviously it ain't. Where to get working drivers? Surprisingly there's nothing about Windows 10 on Broadcom's site??
View 1 RepliesI have been getting random BSODs, sometimes they happened 3-4 times a day and sometimes I will not have one for 3-4 days. Also sometimes my computer will just freeze, mouse cursor and keyboard not working and I have to hard boot. Also some times when it freezes, a stutter/buzzing noise is head through my headphones. Attached is the files

So my computer started running a bit slower then it should be, at the point where my computer to open would take half a min, so i did fresh install. So i left installation overnight, i wake up in the morning and it say "Hi there" installation menu where you choose Country, language, keyboard layout and timezone, but it's totally froze, i can not see mouse cursor or use my keyboard, if my monitor goes to sleep i can't turn it on back. I did read that it's problem with drivers not installed. I've tried restarting pc few times. Is it true that problem is with drivers not installed correctly or at all?
View 1 Repliesturned my computer on yesterday and it loaded up fine, apart from there was no cursor and my keyboard wouldn't work. I have a R.A.T. 5 mouse and a Coolermaster QuickFire keyboard. I know that they're on and working because their LED's are on. I decided to plug in my old ps2 keyboard and restart my PC to enter BIOS. I checked and it recognises that the keyboard and the mouse are connected into the USB hub and says they're working. Another thing, even my ps2 keyboard doesn't work when my computer gets past the start screen!
View 1 RepliesAfter installing windows 10 on my HP laptop PC, some keyboard keys have stopped working. The keys that don't work are: { 'escape' 'g' 'h' 'backspace' }. I am sure it is not a hardware problem because on occasion, all the keys that previously did not work, start working again. In fact, as I am typing this thread, my keys are working correctly. When they stop working, I try to uninstall or update the driver in device manager but that does not work. Keep in mind this started happening after installing Windows 10. I have not had this problem in Windows 8.1.
View 9 RepliesInstalled Windows 10 on HP Pavillion p7-1262 about 2 weeks ago. Worked fine up until last Friday, screen went black, no keyboard entry, no mouse cursor. Can't enter BIOS. Whats wrong?
View 3 RepliesI use left handed mouse, and swapping left / buttons works OK. I also set the wheel button to be "double click". But the wheel button brings up the context menu instead of double click. If I change to right hand mouse, the wheel button gives double click as expected. how to make the wheel button give double click for left hand mouse?
View 5 RepliesSince upgrading to Windows 10 my computer has developed a little glitch where every time I turn it on it switches the function keys to default, instead of the special action keys. I've tried switching it in settings but it does nothing. I've tried switching it in the Bios menu. Also nothing. I hate having to press the [Fn] key every time I want to pause a song or change the volume or the screen brightness, but the system seems determined to force me to do so?
Windows 10
Toshiba Satellite C55-A

My PC was working fine until today. Now when I boot up the lights on my razor keyboard illuminate but when it gets past the bios the lights turn off.
When the login screen for w10 comes up I can't login because both the keyboard and mouse are not responding.
They work fine in the bios. I am using a custom built PC (a88x-gamer MOBO) and a corsair m65 mouse with a razer black window 2015 keyboard and running Windows 10.
After I installed Windows 10 from windows 7 I couldn't use my mouse and keyboard it works when I boot up BIOS Utility but when im on windows 10 it does not work. I tried switching usb ports and that didn't work either.
View 9 RepliesI've had a series of problems with Windows 10. Latest (last couple of weeks) Thunderbird and all browers have been gradually getting worse and worse. I decided to restore the system this morning but I get stopped every time by a screen where I am to select a keyboard to use. This is where both the mouse and keyboard don't work.

View 1 RepliesAfter installing asus AISuite 3 my mouse and keyboards stopped working, i can only use them in the BIOS.
I have restarted the PC many times and changed the usb ports but nothing worked.
So i had this virus that was keep sending and redirecting to websites like - get money from this etc. So I wanted to uninstall but i uninstalled something VCI controller driver and now my keyboard, mouse are not working, I am on windows 7. I tried to put disk and try repair but it gave me an error...
View 1 RepliesMy mouse and keyboard were doing fine with Windows 7, but after I upgraded to Windows 10, my wired mouse and keyboard have been prone to just randomly stop working for a few seconds before working again. When it happens to my keyboard, what key I had been pressing would be typing over and over again, while my mouse is stuck in place (screen is not frozen, videos keep playing, etc). In addition with the windows 10 upgrade, I also got a new graphics card at the same time, but I don't think a graphics/video card could be responsible for this kind of thing, right?
Hardware Information:
Mouse: Corsair Raptor m40
Keyboard: CM Storm QuickFire Rapid
Graphics Card: Sapphire Dual-X R9 270
I have no viruses/malware, and when I go to the devices manager and try to update the "HID-Compliant Mouse" driver online, it seems like it's the recent driver. Same for the keyboard. Therefore, I'm leaning to the Windows 10 to be the culprit, but I'm not too sure.
So I recently downgraded from Win10 to 7 and after everything finished, I can't type in my password or move my mouse! I tried replugging the USBs to no avail and I restarted and booted my pc in safe mode And now I'm stuck on the lock screen in safe mode. How do I fix this?
View 1 RepliesI just recently updated. I then created a boot disk and performed a clean install. I use a Razor Black Widow Ultimate keyboard and a Logitech G9x laser mouse. I can reboot, I can shut down and restart and everything seems to work fine. But, after leaving the pc off all night and start in the morning I have no mouse or keyboard. This has happened Saturday morning, Sunday morning and yet again today. Fortunately, I have Acronis backup of my install, so when this happens I just re-image the hard drive and start searching for solutions again.
I have the latest Logitech mouse drivers and running Razor Synapse for keyboard software.
The latest thing I have done is disable fast boot but have not had it shut down long enough to see if it fixes the issue.
I'm suffering from PC freezes. It freezes when I'm in windows but not in post. When it freezes my mouse wont move and keys won't register.. so it's just really stuck. I've tried waiting for about an hour but it didn't woke up. It happens really random. While loading a game, watching pictures or idle.. the time interval is very random aswell, couple times a day or once every couple of days. All possible with this freeze.. My current solution is holding down the power button so it shuts down, and then rebooting it. I'm not OC-ed and the pc is about 4~5 years old.
Now I'm wondering if there is a list of things that one would do? I don't really mind doing a lot of extra checking, since I normally don't check my system. A full check would be nice actually. I have tried running mdsched.exe and it showed 0 problems. I'm currently checking my hdd from within windows. (Rmb the partition and select run check) I did not upgrade anything on my pc other then my gpu a couple of years back. But it used to run fine even after the upgrade. The os i'm running, comming from vista pro to 8.0 pro to 8.1 pro to 10 pro could be cause aswell I guess, even tough I did preform a nearly clean install for the win 10.
The reason I want a list of testing programs, tips and tricks is that I can't find a solid list. There must be a certain guideline for finding 90% of the common computer problems? Check hardware first then software?
I have installed windows 10 from windows 7 and now I have problems with my laptop keyboard, it affects all keys. The keys have to be pressed very slowly to work. I rebooted yesterday and it was ok for a while then the problem returned. It has taken me 6 minutes to type this in.
View 5 RepliesI have Windows 10 (upgraded from Win 7.1) installed on an iMac on a Bootcamp partition. When I was running Windows 7.1, all the function keys (to control brightness, volume, music playing) worked perfectly. Now under Windows 10 none of them work. And yes, I did go into the setup and try turning on and off the check box for whether or not the keys performed as Function keys with and without holding the FN key. If I go into Bluetooth devices, the keyboard is shown properly as an Apple Bluetooth Keyboard.
View 2 Repliesjust today my touchpad on my Asus laptop was working perfectly and for some reason stopped working. I can move the cursor with it and perform dragging gesture but two finger gestures aren't working, all drivers are installed so i don't know what to do...
View 1 RepliesOkay, so I take blame for accidentally messing up my Windows 10. My NVIDIA graphics card wasn't working and wasn't letting me install my drivers. Well that aside, now that I installed older Drivers Windows 10 registers something horribly wrong. It wants to do a system repair. Okay, good, fine with me. But then when it gets to the page for me to select a keyboard layout, I have no mouse and my keyboard doesn't work either.
Anytime I press a button on them their backlights turn on, but then turn back off when I don't do anything with them.
I can't afford to get a new OS, I have no DVD Drive so I definitely can't do anything that requires a disk. What do I do?
I've tried to disable Palmcheck but that did no good.
