View 1 RepliesI can't seem to get Netflix or Hulu plus to work via the apps. I've gone through all the windows updates, tried to figure out the video players. Sometimes, when I play Netflix, it says system configuration error, and to check my windows update and my video player. I've done all of that. Sometimes, it plays sound, but there's no visual.
View 1 RepliesI am having problem with my Mail & Calendar app. Mail app is crashing on startup. So I went and did a system reset, but then when I came back to my pc, it had rebooted and I got the message: "There was a problem resetting your PC"...
In my event viewer I can see:
event ID 414: Task Scheduler service found a misconfiguration in the NT TASKMicrosoftWindowsMedia CenterRecordingRestart definition. Additional Data: Error Value: %SystemRoot%ehomeehrec.
event ID 7001: The Net.Tcp Listener Adapter service depends on the Net.Tcp Port Sharing Service service which failed to start because of the following error: The service cannot be started, either because it is disabled or because it has no enabled devices associated with it.
event ID 4502: Attempt to restore the system to original condition has failed. Changes to the system have been undone.
Having issues with the Netflix app in Windows 10 Home? I upgraded my main desk top PC with Win 10 at the weekend and all went well. Today I installed the Netflix app from Windows Store and it won't load. It starts to open, then simply shuts down.
I tried downloading the app to my wifes laptop (which was upgraded earlier today) with exactly the same result, so presumably it's an app issue or more general Windows 10 issue.
After installing Windows 10 - on the first login screen, when I enter my password pc is freezing up, after a few seconds it fades to black and then restarts. Cannot get past this part. The PC I'm upgrading is a Dell Inspiron laptop upgrading from Win7.
View 6 Replies1 the netflix app in the win app store has not worked on my win10, everything loads up fine and you click on a movie/tv show and it buffers at 7% than 21% than goes back to the content menu, I have tried everything I can think of, uninstalling the app, reinstalling, deleting cookies, Installing the Windows 10 Media Feature Pack which someone on reddit auggested but nothing.
View 4 RepliesI have updated my laptop to windows 10 and since then the app wont work, I have also tried loading it on the internet and chrome but it still doesn't work. Every time I go on it works but when I press what I want to watch it loads and then comes up with the message "There is a problem with this system's configuration that prevents Windows from playing protected video. Please make sue you have the latest Windows Updates {which I think I do but don't know how to check} as well as Windows 8 certified video and audio drivers installed".
View 9 RepliesI downloaded the Netflix APP from the Windows Store but it will not open, I even tried shutting down my anti-virus and firewall programs.
View 1 RepliesAfter upgrading to Win 10 my streaming quality is lousy in my NF app. I don't see any settings for this.
View 4 RepliesMy wife recently updated her SP3 to Windows 10 and, well, it's been an adventure.. Anyway, we both have a user account on the SP3 and she has Netflix installed and it runs fine on her account. I tried to install Netflix on my account and it appeared to install OK, but when I click on the tile, nothing happens. Also, when I right-click on the tile, I don't get the option to uninstall. Eventually I had to uninstall via the "apps & features" panel.
Tried multiple times to reinstall from the app store, but the same thing happens each time.
Two week ago I upgraded to windows 10 and immediately installed a new SanDisk Extreme Pro SSD Drive. All is working fine with the exception of Netflix that freezes avery minute or so in medium and full screen, (works ok in minimized screen).
I understand Netflix needs "Silverlight" to function which is supposedly supported by Windows 10 but not by Windows Edge. I've tried running Netflix on Explorer but still have the same problem.
via HDMI and my HD TV works just fine except things like Netflix in either IE, Edge or the Netflix app. Audio streams but the windows is black whilst everything else works fine. Windows 8 does not give me this problem. As soon as I move the window or Netflix app to the main screen the video is shown in the window or app.
In case I forgot to forgot fill in my system specs: Laptop MSI GT70. I thought I read somewhere that having an integrated GPU such as this laptop has part of the problem. My other laptop: ASUS doesn't have an integrated GPU and works with Netflix streaming on my HD TV.
I upgraded my video card to a MSI Radeon R9 390 recently. But my Motherboard is a Gigabyte Model: GA-870A-UD3. It is running on PCI-e 2.0 rather than 3.0 but I don't know how to verify that this is what is causing the BSOD.
I am also running two types of RAM in my computer:
Corsair 2x 2GB RAM
Kingston 2x 8GB 1600 MT/s (PC3-12800) CL11
I have a Corsair HX650 as a powersupply. I would've thought that this PSU is sufficient for the hardware that I'm running.
I play games such as GTA V, Starcraft II, Counter Strike: GO and it crashes at random times - sometimes even in the menu screen.
Look forward to hearing back form you and telling me what type of tests I can do to try and find the root cause.

I upgraded my mobo from a 770t to a new GA-970a-us3p. Ever since then I've been getting reboots when I play a video or netflix. I've tried:
prime95 stress test with no problems, memtest with no problems updated the drivers updated the bios to fb replaced the video card and
power supply (I wanted to do that anyways) re-seated cpu and memory updated from win 7 to 10 disable the audio from bios with no change Furmark ran for about 90 minutes without difficulty
HWMonitor showed cpu at max of 62 and gpu max of 60. tmpin1 was highest at 72

Since installing Windows 10 I cannot watch movies on Netflix. I can access the Netflix website, however, when I click on the show I was watching I get an error message.
I know it's not the Netflix website because I can watch the movies on my other computer.
We're basically done after about, 30+ tries, but all of a sudden, I CRASH :C. The problems are happening after Windows 10, I think something is screwing around with my GPU or my GPU driver. My games in general actually have been pretty unstable, like Witcher 3 etc. I don't think it's a driver issue because i clean re-installed it yesterday.

I have had persistent problems recently with my computer freezing/crashing. This is an HP Pavilion, model 500-123a, running Windows 10 (recently upgraded from Windows 8). What's been happening is that it's been stalling out, both in Word (without broadband on) and on the Web (eg Yahoo, Yahoo Mail). In Word the cursor freezes and will not move, the screen goes opaque white, the blue circle whirls, can't do anything with it, can't shut down, and I have to unplug it and reboot.
This can happen 3 or 4 times a day. In Yahoo, similarly, the screen freezes, the cursor won't move at all, and have to unplug. I used software, PC Health Advisor, to try to diagnose the problem, and it hasn't signalled up anything specifically. From checks I've done, it doesn't look like fragmentation, nor RAM (8GB), nor registry issues, nor a monitor problem.
Facebook app crashes as soon as it loads on my laptop which has been upgraded to windows 10.
View 10 RepliesMy laptop crashes every time I scan and then try to clean the issues identified by Adwcleaner. Below is my logfile. This is linked to a problem I have with yahoo constantly coming up as my search engine and homepage even though its actually google.
View 12 RepliesAfter I have done the update to windows 10. My pc keeps crashing to the blue screen with error code WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR
I've checked all my drivers to se if that was the problem and its still not fixed and it annoying it can happen op to 10 times an hour.
When I launch Rumble fighter, after the patching is done and the game is about to launch. I get the blue screen and it says
"kmode exception not handled dump_wmimmc.sys"

I have an HP Pavilion 500-123a PC running Windows 10 which has been freezing and crashing frequently.I have attempted several diagnostic and fix options about which I have posted to this forum before, though the difficulty thus far is unresolved. In particular sfc/scannow does not complete; halts at 56% with the message Windows Resource Protection could not perform the requested operation.
I also attempted a Repair Install using the Media Creation Tool iso file. This was initiated in the administrator account (PC has two accounts) and got to 97% when it failed with the error message We couldnt install Windows 10, The installation failed in the SECOND_BOOT phase with an error during PRE_OOBE operation error code 0x8007002C-0x4001E.The diagnostic software PC Health Advisor only came up with 2 registry issues, without specifying further. The Dism tool was OK however reporting. The component store is repairable. The operation completed successfully.Given that the PC is still freezing/crashing at this stage I am perplexed regarding how to arrive at a diagnosis and fix and, again,
It crashes approximately twice a week. It crashes if I am playing game or just watching videos or doing nothing. Today it crashed 2 minutes after start.
How does it crash: Screen freezes, every sound stops so i cant hear anything and I see the last picture on my monitor. I cant move with my mouse simply I cant do anything so I have to hard reset. There are my PC specs but I don't think there's problems with them. This crashing wasn't happening when I had w7.
CPU: AMD FX-8320 8-core, 3.50 GHz
GPU: NVIDIA GTX-960
RAM: 2x4 GB
Hard Disk: 2TB
Mother Board: MSI

My PC is crashing nearly every 30min but Bluescreen view has only showed a problem with an USB driver which I already updated and now Bluescreen view doesn't log anymore Bluescreens but my System is still crashing.
My PC is Overclocked and has a 750w power supply.
I already tried reinstalling Windows 10 but it didn't work.
Having an issue with my Start menu in Windows 10 that nobody else on the internet seems to have. Basically, pressing certain buttons makes that menu crash. So does searches. Extremely annoying.
View 1 RepliesI'm crashing too often to make much progress.
So far I've seen memory fault exception and security kernel BSODs.
And a system service exception just now.
